With the appearance of the ferocious beasts and hideous monsters, humanity was on the verge of extinction.

As humanity lost its hope, a few otherworldly beings referred to themselves as ‘Gods’ appeared and helped humans in creating new cities from the rumbles.

Before leaving the world, they left a special gift that could help the humans awaken their talents hidden deeply in their bodies as there were still monsters and beasts outside these newly created cities.

With the help of their newly awakened talents, the humans started fighting the monsters and beasts on their own.

That’s the beginning of a new chapter in human history as humans started becoming heroes.

In such a world, a 12-year-old kid was framed for theft and the murder of his adoptive parents by some powerful heroes.

Furthermore, they even planned to kill him and make his body disappear to avoid future trouble.

However, after 10 years, he returned to the city with a different name to take revenge against those so-called powerful heroes while trying to find out the reason behind the death of his adoptive parents.

“I don’t know exactly who you are and why you did that, but I will find out even if I have to kill all the powerful heroes in the city.”

Standing in front of the gates of the Phirie city, Leo muttered to himself with a cold look on his face.

He woke up to the day he got married.He thought it was his chance to get rid of the woman from his life. He would save his brother and his family from his ‘wife’. Clearly not.In this life, he started seeing her life the way he had not seen before. One day, Katsuragi Daichi and his classmates found themselves in a different world. The god who summoned them to another world divided its power and gave it to them, saying that it wanted Daichi and the rest to defeat the Demon King as heroes. However, Daichi alone was given no abilities. And sure enough, Daichi was thrown away and used as a decoy in a demon’s den. Eaten by a demon, Daichi had lost consciousness and thought he had passed away, though when he came to he noticed his statuses had skyrocketed. He had obtained『Revenge of the Resented』. Every time he died, his abnormal ability powered up.

A series of short stories in the world of Toaru Majutsu no Index organized into chapters featuring Kanzaki Kaori as the protagonist, going around the world and space doing missions for the Church of Necessary Evil, however, there is more than meets the eye as each incident is connected.

One chapter was bundled with each limited edition release of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime DVD and BDs, with all of them together being equivalent to a single normal Toaru Majutsu no Index volume
