An alternate realm invaded and the game descended. The entire Blue Planet was digitized.

Faced against countless waves of monsters, some people downloaded the Holy Knight module and became angels of light that helped the world reach enlightenment.

Some people downloaded the Warrior Monk module. They focused on their training and reached enlightenment overnight. With their fists and legs, they fought and made a name for themselves.

Chen Kun, who transmigrated to this world, downloaded the Boss module.

Each time he leveled up, his growth attribute improved multiple fold, and his attribute points multiplied. More importantly, all his skills were automatically unlocked as boss skills!

When the hole between the two realms opened and the gods of the alternate world came pouring in to invade this world, what awaited them was Chen Kun, who sat high up on a throne.

When the gods of the alternate world saw his terrifyingly long health bar as well as his boss skills that granted instant death and control immunity, reduced damage, true vision and many more skills, they despaired.

Chen Kun smiled and said, “So, are you the ones who will challenge my throne?”

Existence was divided into three realms. The Heavenly Realm. The Earthen Realm. The Infernal Realm. Below them, countless minor realms of all types existed, none able to match the might of any of the Three Fundamental realms. The Celestials led the Heavenly Realm, The Immortals led the Earthen Realm and Demons led the Infernal Realm while the Rulers controlled all the minor realms. Together, they formed The Myriad Unity and allowed peace to reign supreme. The mortals were allowed to cultivate and reach for the Heavens as a balance was installed between the Heaven and Earth, all according to the Heaven’s Will. And yet, among the billions of trillions of living beings within the Myriad Unity, one seemed unsatisfied. “They are lying to us.” This man went against all known truths and contradicted the very gods. “We are in a false world! Mere pawns used to study an outcome!” And so in search of freedom and truth, this man committed the ultimate taboo. He rebelled.

When a man finds himself in the presence of absolute power, what will he do? Dying has already happened, but he wasn't given permission and the creature responsible finds his tragedy amusing. Forcing him to continue his life in a new world, he is given an unknown task that must be completed if he ever wishes to rest.
