Abyss Draconis-Chapter 410: Brutally Executed

Immediately, the notification flashed.

The Void chains holding Ryuk's body, stopping it from moving from the stance, were removed.

In the next instant, his body fell forward, collapsing face-flat into the pool of blood beneath him.

The fall caused a splash that dripped down from the suspended platform, raining down onto the graves that were tied beneath it, quickly absorbed into them.

All of this, Ryuk was oblivious to.

His eyes rolled to the back of his head the instant he was freed of the Void chains, as he remained absolutely motionless—before the notification flashed once more.

When Ryuk opened his eyes, the first thing he sighted was the endless blue sky... and then a face with a raised eyebrow, and a bobbly cat head beside his own.

"Seems like he's up..." Aster voiced out, backing up from his vision as Ryuk slowly rose up to his butt.

GROOOAN

A groan of pain left his lips as his hands held his head, feeling as if his brain was beating like his heart. But then—

"Meow"

He felt the cuddly, soft fur that wound around his arms, awakening him from the pain as he rubbed Void's head with a smile before turning to Aster, sitting at the side.

"You suddenly disappeared when I came back, leaving your cat mewing around."

"You spent a total of three weeks like that, before falling out of a vortex all of a sudden, looking one step in the grave."

"Thanks for the healing, Aster," Ryuk said, and Aster paused in her steps, looking at him with shocked eyes.

"How do you know that?" she asked.

But unknown to her, Ryuk already had the system panel flashing with the summary of what had happened while he was unconscious—and that included Aster healing his broken soul with her Aetheris Energy.

[She kept taunting Void too.]

"And for the taunts to Void too..." Ryuk said with narrowed eyes, watching as Aster's face flashed in ultimate shock.

She was a hundred percent certain Ryuk was deeply unconscious during the moments he was mentioning.

How could he still be able to see them?

"You're welcome. And I wasn't taunting Void—just letting him know what he's capable of..." she said, before returning to the other side.

But then, Ryuk's gaze scrunched up as he felt something weird in the air.

He turned his gaze behind him.

The world before him was an endless plain of green—but now, Ryuk could still sense something inert.

In these endless plains of green, there was an anomaly—dark energy that was oozing out of an area, absolutely conspicuous.

And his eyes soon turned pitch black, radiating like twin vortexes as he easily pierced through the covering, sighting the figure within, before turning to look at Asterlaixa.

"Did you bring somebody new in?" he asked her, as Aster raised an eyebrow.

"Someone new? What do you mean?" That was all she said, before she suddenly felt Ryuk's image dispersing into the wind, and then—

SHATTTTEEERRRRRR

The sound of space getting ripped apart rang out as Aster's eyes turned in shock, watching a monstrous dark claw cleave through a part of space—instantly.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

A powerful shockwave resounded as another pitch-dark claw came out of the space in front of Ryuk, both collding together as the space was once more blown to nothing—leaving behind only an endless Void.

A figure was soon seen falling back from the exchange, rolling onto the ground a few yards before quickly coming to a stop.

It was a pitch-black figure with two gruesome dark wings.

'I've been discovered!? How?' The thoughts echoed through the head of Thyrion as his wings hurriedly flapped, trying to rise up into the air when—

PUUUUCHHIIIIIIII

His body suddenly hung in the air with a pause, and his gaze locked on where Ryuk was in shock.

But soon, it twitched as his image once more dispersed.

It was an afterimage.

Slowly, it turned to look at his own chest—and right there, he could see a humongous dark claw, covered in pitch-black blood that was no doubt his, piercing straight out of his chest.

Ryuk's pitch-dark eyes held no emotion as he floated in the air, his hand piercing out of the Fallen's chest straight from behind him.

Calmly, he ripped out his hands as blood burst out of Thyrion's lips and he slowly fell down gracefully to the ground—even though before he could reach it, his head had been grabbed by Ryuk, his feet dangling in the air.

"Why are you spying on us?" Ryuk's calm, voice rang out through Thyrion's hearing as he looked into those pitch-dark eyes—a sadistic smirk soon appearing on his lips.

"Did you think you can escape the sight of us... Fallens?" Thyrion asked, chuckling mockingly as Ryuk raised an eyebrow.

"Escape?"

"You can't run anywhere. The World will find you and destroy you soon… Knull!" Thyrion said, with a knowing smirk, as Ryuk's eyes flashed in so much shock that his hands holding Thyrion quivered—allowing him to slip from his grasp and fall down onto both knees.

"Hehehehe... seems like I was right," Thyrion said with a sadistic grin.

Looking at Ryuk's shocked expression, it was clear that he definitely was what Thyrion accused him of—and his shock showed he had never expected anyone to find out.

"For how long do you think you can hide your existence?"

"The World will soon know of it."

"And when it does... you will be hunted down like the nightmarish creature you are!"

"Hahahaha..."

Thyrion was laughing out loud, basking in the glory of the shock he was able to give Ryuk as he watched those pitch-dark eyes flashing in horror—when suddenly...

Aster watched as Ryuk suddenly moved his hand and slashed it to the side.

She watched in shock as Thyrion's face suddenly had three cuts appear across it, his expression of laughter pausing in their tracks—and then...

Brain matter and blood splashed through the air, sending sprays of crimson that rained down Ryuk's figure—before Thyrion's headless body collapsed onto the green grass!
