When Ryuk stepped through, he felt the world stand still, before he instantly regained his footing.

His eyes flashed when he felt the world around him clear up, finding himself crouched on the ground.

He calmly rose up, his eyes scanning through his surroundings.

"Hmmm," Ryuk hummed under his breath as he looked at the area he was in.

A wide area—one he felt more than familiar with due to repeated entrance.

It was a throne room, one painted in pure crimson red.

The floors seemed to have been made from a gemstone that rippled like blood waves with every step, and Ryuk's eyes flashed as he tested the strength by pressing his legs.

Yet, not a single crack was made on the gem-like stone, shocking him speechless.

'This is the hardest ground I have seen in a long while now' He mused to himself as he took in the empty throne room, before he slowly turned his back—and that was when his eyes flashed and he stopped mid-motion.

Just like a throne room should have, there was a throne at the end of it. A huge blood red throne made in the same rippling power of the throne.

But the figure seated on it was what shook Ryuk's heart the most.

A mini-titan whose height, even while sitting, was a full 3 meters—taller than even Ryuk on his feet.

Bare-chested.

Long crimson hair flowing down his back like a burning waterfall.

A sculpted physique gleaming under the faint crimson light, each muscle seemingly tougher than even the ground Ryuk was standing on.

Blood-scars slashed across the raised muscles.

Crimson gauntlets rested on each hand, etched with ancient runes that pulsed with unrestrained fury.

And Ryuk watched as the man slowly stirred—and then those eyes stirred open.

One of them was a full grey, no different compared to the light of a dying star, and the other was a crimson red—the colour of blood that seemed to hold a world-sized amount of blood within it, bubbling with unrelenting, murderous intent that was barely being contained within.

Slowly, the man's face rose up, revealing a strong, sharp, and brutal jawline—a warrior's jaw, clenched both in fury and pride.

And Ryuk watched as his neutral expression slowly changed, his mouth curving into a wild, savage grin.

Not one of joy—but of mocking interest and bloodlust.

"Finally?" His thick voice rumbled through the entire throne room, knocking off the walls and bouncing together to create an echo in Ryuk's head.

"Three hundred years of waiting, and this is who you sent to end my misery, AllFiend!?"

"A puny kid yet to even begin cultivation?" he asked.

But surprisingly, Ryuk didn't feel his mockery was directed at him, but sent at someone else instead.

Perhaps the one named AllFiend.

But in Ryuk's head, he was already swiftly thinking of how to get him off the throne as he looked around the throne room, trying to form a plan.

'This is an enclosed space. I still have enough Mana in me to activate one more Annunaki Oblivion and instant-kill this, but there would be no place for me to hide or even teleport away.'

'I can sense Void Vortex is being blocked, as if the entire space has been closed off.'

'If even Aster's dimensional power can't stop the Annunaki Oblivion, then I don't think I can survive with my life intact, and I don't have any defensive technique to stop it.'

'In the end, I will be taken down with it. So now, I can only resort to using my various battle techniques with this…'

{Welcome, Trial Taker, to the First Trial Ruin OF The Morta Giara!}

The loud, coarse voice suddenly echoed through the space as Ryuk rose his head to the ceiling—but it seemed it was bouncing from everywhere.

{In Short, Your Failure Will Be Replaced With Death… or Eternal Desolation Like the One Who Is Within!}

The voice sounded more like a threat than an instruction as Ryuk furrowed his eyebrows before he turned to look at the red-haired man, who was still looking at him with the same smirk.

"I've been waiting for 300 years for someone to rid me of this misery of mine... the misery of desolation. Seems like you're my only hope, kid."

"Come, come. Show me what you got!" he said—yet remained on his throne.

But Ryuk didn't waste a single more second as he gave the order:

"Activate Abyssal Nano-Reaper!"

And in the next instant, his body began rippling as nanobots began emerging from his body, soon flashing around until they formed a shimmering veil of nanobots around Ryuk's body.

Ryuk stretched out his hands to the side, and the gigantic Abyssal Scythe swiftly began forming—soon coming to rest in his hands.

He twisted it a couple of times, its edges sharp and soaring through the air before it was balanced in his grip, and he took a stance—his body leaning forward toward the Titan who remained sitting on his throne, an interesting red light flashing in his eye as he looked at the shimmering Nanorobotic Veil and scythe Ryuk held.

"Mildly interesting..." he said, but then—

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!

Ryuk's body shot out through the air like a released cannon as he flashed forward with speed toward his opponent but couldn't help but notice the air density seemed to have been enhanced by thousands of times, resulting in him having to resort to running to cover the distance between him and the Titan.

Appearing before him three seconds later, Ryuk jumped into the air as he wielded his heavy scythe and slashed it down with all of his power down toward the man's head.

"Hehe."

A faint demonic laugh came from the man's lips as he raised his head to look at Ryuk's approaching scythe, doing nothing until the last second when Ryuk secretly uttered 'Fool' in his mind before the man's hand moved with a speed faster than lightning, and Ryuk felt the edge of his scythe land in the man's gauntlet-covered hand.

CLAAAAAANG!

CRAAAAAACK!
