Apocalypse: Transmigrated General's Daughter Uses Space to Survive-Chapter 110: Healing Ye Xuan
Chapter 110: Chapter 110: Healing Ye Xuan
Ye Xuan
Now, he was even more desperate to become stronger. He couldn’t let anything happen to the woman he loved or her family.
He had to work harder and cultivate diligently to advance so that even if some of the secrets that Chu Miao carried were discovered, he could protect her.
Before Ye Xuan could say anything about the water, Chu Miao told him to continue drinking.
"Drink more. The bleeding is slowing down." She said to him in an excited voice.
She was happy that the spring water was useful on Ye Xuan’s wound.
When she saw that he didn’t ask any questions again, she was even happier and decided to trust him more.
He was even willing to risk his life and he never pried into where things came from. Last time he even warned her about teleporting and even promised her grandfather to protect her.
She knew that the world was the same as in ancient times. Having a treasure was a crime that could get one into serious trouble.
However, no one had ever been able to survive alone. People needed friends and allies they could trust and if she couldn’t even trust Ye Xuan, then she wouldn’t be able to advance in the future when it came to tackling the apocalypse.
Therefore, she made a decision to let Ye Xuan know some things, and make a choice whether to join her and form a team that could grow into something significant later or they could go their separate ways.
"Okay." Ye Xuan replied without any qualms and drank more water. This time it was just a sip, but he drank up to a glass of the spring water.
When he stopped, the bleeding on his back had also stopped.
"How do you feel?" Chu Miao asked.
"The burning sensation at the wound site is gone. Also, my strength has returned and all the superpower has recovered to its peak." He replied honestly.
He didn’t want her to keep worrying. So, even if he had to let her know that he had discovered the uniqueness of the water, he had to tell the truth.
Chu Miao didn’t care about what he had discovered. She had already decided to tell him the truth anyway, so it didn’t matter.
"That’s good, my brother will be here soon, he will..." before Chu Miao could finish her sentence, Chu Hao appeared at the door running.
"Bunny, what happened? Did you get hurt?" He asked as he walked briskly to his sister.
He didn’t even notice Ye Xuan who was sitting on the chair with his clothes torn. All his attention was on his sister.
As soon as he got close, he didn’t even wait for his sister’s reply as he grabbed her and started turning her around and examining her nervously.
He was afraid that something had happened to his precious sister while he was collecting the timber. If she got hurt, he wouldn’t be able to forgive himself.
"Brother, nothing happened to me. It’s Ye Xuan who got hurt protecting me." She could only speak while still being turned around like a sausage in a pan.
"What?!" Chu Hao was shocked that something really almost happened to his sister and that soldier guy protected her.
Only then did he turn around and finally see Ye Xuan on the chair.
"You are here too?" He asked a very silly question.
Ye Xuan just looked at this guy who only had his sister in his eyes and hummed a reply. "Mmm..."
"Where did he get hurt? Let me see." He said as he turned to Ye Xuan’s back and saw the three gashes with clotting blood on them.
Just looking at the wounds that have already stopped bleeding made his heart almost stop when he remembered what Chu Miao had said.
She said the guy was hurt to protect her, which means those three gashes were meant for her. If the Ye guy had not blocked the claws that caused the wounds then his sister.... He didn’t even want to imagine what would have happened.
Especially looking at the position of the wounds and calculating his sister’s height. These claws should have been aimed at her neck and if they had landed, it would have been a tragedy.
Thinking of this, he felt his legs go weak. He could have lost his sister.
His complexion turned ashen and his breathing quickened.
Chu Miao seemed to know what he was thinking and comforted him, "Those claws wouldn’t have been able to hurt me that much even if they landed, not to mention, they would have been blocked by the water barrier I was forming. So don’t think too much about it.
Give me a healing pill and a blood rejuvenation pill."
When Chu Hao heard his sister’s words, he remembered that their bodies had indeed undergone some changes after practicing the body tempering techniques.
But that didn’t completely eliminate his fear. However, Ye Xuan indeed needed treatment, so he immediately took out two small jade bottles and took a pill from each of them.
The fragrance of the pills spread in their surroundings and one could feel refreshed just by smelling it even without taking the pill.
Ye Xuan was shocked again by this discovery, but he quickly suppressed his shock and took the two pills offered in front of him.
One of them was brown like a ball of mud, but it was smooth with a shiny coating. So, it was obviously not mud. The other was red, with the same shiny coating.
He didn’t ask any questions and took the two pills immediately. He was about to drink water to help swallow the pills when he discovered that there was nothing in his mouth.
The pills had melted immediately after touching his tongue.
All he felt was a refreshing kind of feeling spreading in his body. It felt as if he was being reborn.
The wound on his back no longer hurt and he even discovered that there were some parts of his body that had been uncomfortable due to previous injuries on missions that were now fine.
He had never even realized that the injuries had left behind some complications and was used to the uncomfortable feeling which had become normal to him.
