"Suishen... Jiguang?" The valley lord immediately squinted. The old patriarch and Suishen Ranxing, who weren’t on the altar, also did the same, having no idea what she was about to do. Suishen Jiguang and Suishen Xiyue would be taking control of the pace of everything.

"Her?" Yumo Diyan and Yumo Dinai had a feeling that something was about to go down. The other reverends and eminents of Myriadpath Valley thought it would be nothing but a routine ceremony, since they were certain that House Yumo would no longer dare to resist, yet House Suishen had instead been the one that took action during such a sacred moment! Was that really the goddess of Myriadpath Valley? The Suishen Jiguang in their minds would never make a mess of the ceremony like this.

"Suishen Jiguang, the ceremony’s ongoing! Immediately go down!" Qitian Muyu stepped toward her. For some reason, his heart was pounding almost frantically enough to leave his chest. He could almost be certain from the look in her eyes that the worst-case scenario was playing out.

Maybe she knows that we don't have the astralship after all.... However, as long as she doesn't know that Father’s been hurt by the formation core, everything should be fine. They had discussed the possibility of Suishen Jiguang knowing the truth before. However, there was nothing they could do about her. If she decided to expose it, they wouldn't be able to stop her.

Everyone was shocked to see the sudden attack on the valley lord. The old patriarch and Suishen Ranxing immediately rose to the altar and flanked her. The old patriarch glared at her and immediately said to the valley lord, "Valley Lord, ever since my daughter returned alive from the Yin-Yang World, her soul might’ve been slightly corrupted! She isn’t in her right mind!"

Even the old patriarch had been completely shocked by his daughter's odd behavior, completely oblivious to the valley lord's nervous brow furrowing.

She shook off his hand and pointed at the valley lord. With the loudest voice she could muster, she said, "Fellow brothers and sisters of Myriadpath Valley! During the decade I spent stranded in the Yin-Yang World, I’ve seen things that you can't even dream of! During today's Ancestral Worship Ceremony, I, Suishen Jiguang, represent Myriadpath Valley by calling out House Qitian and this valley lord that’s trying to break the Myriadpath Sacred Code! They’re the worst sinners ever in our history!"

Apart from the four Qitians, everyone else was stunned. Thousands of Qitian reverends and eminents froze for a moment, then broke out in laughter.

"I think she's gone mad!"

"It's no wonder she lost her Suishen Blood."

"I wonder which fool fucked her silly."

He knew that his sister was completely sane, so he didn't understand why she would do something so out of character at a time like this. He’d never hated her, as she had always been agreeable and abstained from unnecessary competition. But now she was putting him in a most risky position.

"I hereby assert my sanity once more!" There was nobody who could stop her as she turned towards the crowd and sternly intoned, "I’ll be telling all of you the truth! When the nine specters of House Yumo, the valley lord, and Qitian Muyu entered the fortuna-class astralship, I was there, too! They just didn't notice me. I witnessed the valley lord launch a surprise attack on the senior madame and force the other eight specters away! They could never imagine what happened next after they were driven from the ship...."

The words immediately made the valley lord's face freeze up. He wanted to silence her, but she was no pushover. The old patriarch was also beside her, so there was no way he would be able to seal her mouth.

The eight specters who had seen their senior madame being killed, Yumo Diyan included, glared at Eminent Jiguang, their eyes bloodshot and heart rates rising. The only ones who seemed completely unperturbed were the other members of House Qitian, who were ready to disbelieve anything Suishen Jiguang said.

Under so much pressure and attention, Suishen Jiguang pointed her weapon at the valley lord. "The valley lord and his tensource beast attempted to assimilate the formation core. He was about to succeed, but the formation core turned out to be a trap left by the denizens of the Yin-Yang World!
