There were only seven people within the vast Grand Myriadpath Ruins. Fortunately, Ying Huo and the rest started making some noise to liven up the atmosphere.

The Grand Myriadpath Ruins had mainly been used for storing legacy caeli. With the former valley lord back in control, he isolated them in a separate room, making space for the true structure of the ship to surface.

"That fellow...." Suishen Yao's pink eyes nervously darted around as she looked at Tianming in a daze, holding her mother's arm tight. Was he still the same disciple she had taken in not so long ago? She felt like he had risen right over her head by now, which indeed made her feel a little down. It felt like the distance between them was widening more and more.

"It's alright. He's a good kid," Suishen Xiyue said, consoling her daughter.

"Mhm...." Suishen Yao nodded. It would normally be incredibly hard for her to look down on herself, given her high level of confidence. But Tianming was simply an unreasonable existence to compare oneself to.

"There's more than enough time for the two of you to spend with each other. The feelings will come," Suishen Xiyue said. Her daughter just blushed in response.

As for Suishen Zhao and Suishen Shuang, they looked at each other as they shivered. Neither of them had dreamed that they would be brought here, especially Suishen Shuang. The grand schemes concerning Myriadpath Valley were far too terrifying for them. When his former rival and friend became the beacon of hope for something of this scope, Suishen Zhao felt rather flabbergasted.

"If there's a chance, I want to see my brother-in-law's might in Infinitum for myself," Suishen Zhao said.

"I want to see it, too!" Suishen Yao said, stealing a glance at Tianming, who was still convening with Yin Chen.

"They picked... thousands of... people to... send there. Even if... they don't... have many... eminents, it... would be... bad if... you don't... go back... to Skydome."

Tianming grit his teeth in frustration. "It feels like Suishen Ranxing is my natural enemy! He keeps foiling my plans time and again!"

He would have been all too glad if the ones who went were the valley lord and other major-zenith foundationeers. He could just wipe them all out without waiting a hundred years. However, they had chosen to conduct a careful survey first. There was no way Skydome would be able to survive it!

Even though Skydome's denizens had been given the same story to tell, something would fall through the cracks with persistent interrogation and the lie about the copper coffin secret realm would soon get out. While that wasn't a big loss in itself, Ebonia and the Sun would be threatened if the truth got back to Myriadpath Valley. Tianming wouldn't be able to deal with the Three Exalted Houses sending their entire army there.

"That's why... you have... to use... that ball... ship to... go back... faster than... they can... arrive there," Yin Chen concluded. Naturally, it was referring to the Blissful Union.

Tianming's head hurt when he thought of all the complications that involved. He snuck a glance at the rest and saw that Suishen Xiyue was occupied with her children, while Suishen Jiguang stood at a corner and looked out into deep space. The starlight from outside made her pink hair and dress sparkle. The way the light bounced on her skin was utterly stunning.

"What are... you hesitating... about now?" Yin Chen asked with a suspicious tone.

"Nothing... nothing at all," Tianming said, clearing his throat with a complicated expression. Even if Suishen Jiguang was completely daft, she would immediately find out that Tianming was the same 'Mistrunner' that she had spent ten years spoiling if he brought out the Blissful Union!

I couldn't bear to tell her about it when we returned to Myriadpath Valley, and I've kept it hidden for so long! That only makes it harder to say anything! He glanced at her, once more seeing her wistfully gazing into the astralscape. We can also learn battle arts and study the caeli from the Yin-Yang World as well. They can even use mid-maniverse-class artifacts.
