Was it really just because time has passed too long that Qin An couldn’t remember something he didn’t know or there’s really something he couldn’t for unknown reason?

If it’s just an ordinary situation, for sure he did forget. But judging from the repeated relapses that keep on coming back, he knew that it’s not.

He had already experienced this for some quiet time. His head will ache and he would vaguely see a blurry figure of someone that he didn’t know but he couldn’t seem to forget— or rather he forgot but it kept on coming back to him.

Even if he really tried hard to familiarize, there was no one from his past that he could point to.

However, Qin An soon forgot about this matter when he was called to go to the clinic. When he arrived and saw He Li and his team again, he knew there’s something going on.

"Classmate Qin, you’re finally here!" Cheng Yu called him with a cheerful tone that he wasn’t familiar with. Qin An slightly paused with this enthusiastic welcome. He and Cheng Yu weren’t even close but the latter just greeted him with attitude. What’s the matter this time?

But soon he knew the reason when they presented a batch of different levels of inhibitors in front of him.

"Classmate Qin, these are the inhibitors from the lowest to the highest level as of now, you can take a look."

Qin An stares at the liquid inhibitors inside the thin tubes for a moment and he notices something on them.

These inhibitors really contain a faint energy that is very similar to what he has. The concentration was also more focused and firm on the higher levels than the lower ones.

"How did you make this?" Qin An asked.

"It has an essence extracted from a peach tree." Cheng Yu answered.

"Peach tree?" Qin An was slightly surprised but instantly understood what was going on.

"Actually, we don’t have enough information to give reasons for our findings. No matter how we tried to study the peach tree, we couldn’t just understand why the peach tree has this magical ability to calm the mental pollution." Cheng yu explains further and sighs in frustration. "It’s really just a pity that peaches couldn’t truly heal the pollution."

"Peach tree’s ability can only provide spiritual purifications to humans. It indeed can help you." Qin An answered casually but that made the people inside the clinic stunned at what they heard.

But no matter how they do experiments and study the tree, they couldn’t find reasons. For that, they could only try to plant some peach trees in hopes to have more that can sustain them. Unfortunately, even if they plant, new trees don’t have that effect the same as the old trees. The younger ones can still be used for minimal uses especially for low-level inhibitors but they don’t have the same value as the old trees.

That is why in this world, the peach tree is considered as a sacred tree that no one dares to make fun of. This is the source of how they can still live despite the raging pollution inside their heads. It is very important for everyone, thus hearing that Qin An seems to have an idea what’s really going on with the tree, they felt excited and hoped for something better.

Qin An doesn’t know this so when he heard them asked, he continued talking.

"Peach tree symbolizes longevity and protection. It can also help ward off evil spirits. Haven’t I told you that the pollution here is similar to the resentments? Thus, using peach tree essence to aid the pollution is a great solution. It can help in purification."

Cheng Yu was dumbfounded by the answers he heard. Ward off evil spirits and resentment again? These words are clearly from the metaphysical things that broke his world view last time! And now even the peach tree is connected to this after?

"Classmate Qin," Cheng Yu looked at Qin An with bright eyes. "I really want to hear more insights from you about the inhibitors. You know that we already tried so many means to develop these medicines. If not for the peach tree, we wouldnt know how to live this long."

Qin An looked at him. "What are you trying to say?"

Cheng Yu smiled hesitantly. "I want you to come to go to the laboratory and personally see the sacred tree. We can only see what science can but we have no idea about metaphysics. It’s been too hard for us to take care of the tree so I’m asking you to at least just visit and see if it’s in a good condition."

Qin An slightly frown. "I am still in training."

"Marshal..." Cheng Yu looked at He Li and his eyes had a strong pleading for the man to take action.

"Qin An, there are also some matters we want to tell you," Ji Wen said and slightly smiled at him. "And I think it would be better if we could explain it to you personally and privately. Thus... we already asked the Director to excuse you for your training."

He Li noted his reaction and nodded at him.

Since this after had already been decided, Qin An could only go to the training room to bid farewell for now. The members looked surprised and wanted to ask a question but seeing the familiar personal Secretary of the Marshal following him, they could only surpass their curiosity.

Qin An once again boarded He Li’s hover car and it quickly traveled towards a private laboratory where the peach tree is planted.

When they arrived, they wasted no time to lead the young man to a very distant location.
