Chapter 95: Interrogation

The training camp went into chaos again when the Marshal’s team suddenly appeared and arrested their youngest trainee.

"!!!!" What did Qin An do?!

After commanding a staff to contact Chen Jiang, Qian Jin hurriedly went to the Marshal and tried to appease them with a worried face.

"Marshal, is there something wrong with this? He’s still a child and a minor." Qian Jin tried to smile but the Marshal didn’t bother looking at him and was just staring at Qin An. It was full of scrutiny that Qian Jin feels the Marshal isn’t looking at Qin An as a child but as a criminal!

That made him more worried and was about to say something again but Ji Wen intervenes.

"Mr. Qian, you don’t have to worry. We won’t hurt anybody casually, much less a minor like him." Ji Wen explains with a polite smile.

"Then may we ask why you need to arrest him?" Was it too much to arrest him immediately like this? And besides, even criminals were not arrested by the Marshal himself, so how could Qin An do something? He was even just inside the camp the whole time without any connection outside. Or was it just a misunderstanding?

"Mr. Qian doesn’t need to worry about trivial matters. We can assure you that nothing will happen to this young man." Ji Wen may sound as if he’s really assuring them but they knew that nothing would really happen to Qin An... only when there’s nothing wrong with him.

This matter was also heard by the trainees who quickly went to the balcony.

"Brother?" He Yan confusingly looked at his brother and looked at Qin An. When he remembered what they were up to, he nervously went in front of Qin An and looked at He Li.

"Brother, is there a misunderstanding here?" He Yan looked worried about his friend. Why does his brother seem to have something bad in his friend? And this was clearly not what he wanted them to meet! He Yan plans to bring Qin An in his house to introduce to his family as his new friend, not like this!

Then he gestured to take Qin An away. Ji Wen quickly understood and smiled at Qian Jin.

"Mr. Qian, don’t worry, we won’t take him away. We’ll just talk here for a little time. I’m sure you won’t mind, right?"

"Ah, yes! Come!" Qian Jin immediately led them to a vacant room and instructed the trainees to go back to their rooms.

After that, he looked at the door with still a worry on his face. He believes in Qin An but he’s worried that the young man will be too intimidated by this questioning especially in the face of the Marshal. Now, he just hopes that the Marshal will give Qin An a face since he’s He Yan’s friend.

Inside the vacant room, they let Qin An sit on the corner of the bed while the other members of the team went to the corners of the room and stood still to guard.

As soon as He Li sat down on a chair, Ji Wen quickly handed over a virtual document to him. He Li doesn’t have an expression on his face but as soon as he takes a look at the virtual document, his face turns black.

"Ji Wen, what do you mean?" There’s a hint of danger in his voice.

"Marshal, I already checked the main security system but all I got is this." Ji Wen feels helpless and at the same time incredible.

What he handed was a piece of information about Qin An. That file is supposed to have every bit of information of the young man since his birth but the only thing that was written on it was about when he appeared on the Capital and joined the competition. There was no more and even some basic information was clearly blank.

At first, Ji Wen felt that someone may be covering the young man’s background but he already asked the main system team but they found nothing aside from his recent doings.

That sounds impossible because a person can always leave its trace when he’s living on this planet. No matter where he is, as long as he’s under this jurisdiction, they will always find something about him.

Ji Wen felt complicated. It’s also impossible that this young man is a spy because he already asked the other management about what happened yet they found no one.

It seems that there was no Qin An living in this world before he appeared.

What was annoying was that ’someone’ didn’t even bother to put fake information so Qin An’s identity would be much more true. This is too casual! Do they think they will not do anything to this young man even though he’s a minor?!

He Li looked at the one page information and looked at the young man sitting quietly sharply.

On his impression, since he can catch his young brother and even his mother’s attention, they may be special to him. He thought that it’s because the latter has a pleasing personality or what but never expected this ’special’. This is clearly telling him that the system of the Era Federation has a problem!
