Desire Me If You Can-Chapter 18
The one thing I gained, at least, was the fact that the person I was looking for was a woman. I can't remember anything else, but the one thing I am sure of is that before I collapsed, I saw an absolutely stunning chest. Unfortunately, I can't recall the shape or size of it at all.
The problem is how to find her. Extreme omegas can completely hide their pheromones, so they often act like betas. But if she leaks her pheromones and exposes her identity, Grayson will go into shock and faint again. And that would just result in the same outcome repeating itself.
He sighed deeply, then roughly ruffled his hair. He had tried to take it easy, but after missing her twice right in front of him, he couldn't afford any more leisure. He had to find her. Quickly. But there was something more important.
How should he ensure he doesn't miss her again?
No answers came to mind. With frustration, he grimaced, and then something flickered through his mind.
That's right, if it's that guy...!
Grayson immediately increased the speed of the car. The supercar cut through the darkness, racing down the empty road.
"Darling."
The sound of paws echoed.
As he entered the house, the cat came running as if it had been waiting. Dane, who readily picked it up, gently stroked its body and kissed its nose. The cat, in turn, rubbed its small cold nose against his chest, purring in delight.
"Wait, I’ll fill your bowl soon."
The cat seemed to understand, wagging its tail before meowing shortly. Leaving the cat on his shoulder, Dane started his post-arrival routine. After changing the litter and refilling the water, he gave the cat a snack. Satisfied, the cat began to awkwardly groom itself. Dane lightly tapped the cat's rear end before heading to the bathroom. It was his time now.
"Ha."
After finishing his shower, he sat on the sofa and started drinking a beer. As if on cue, Darling came over. The cat, rescued from the fire scene, had lost one eye and couldn't hear. Despite that, it always found Dane, wherever he was, and would lean against him like this.
This time, it rubbed its body against his leg and started meowing again. Dane, used to this, picked it up and placed it on his lap. As the cat settled comfortably, Dane began to slowly relax into his rest.
Suddenly, the ridiculous incident from earlier in the day flashed through his mind.
That guy is looking for me?
Did he somehow realize I passed out from pheromone shock? I’ve never been caught before.
Things were getting complicated. If I had known, I wouldn’t have used pheromones today. He groaned.
"Why the hell was that crazy bastard standing there watching?"
He spat out the curse, but nothing changed. When Miller wakes up, the chances of him remembering Dane were ➤ NоvеⅠight ➤ (Read more on our source) fifty-fifty. If he finds out...
Tsk, he clicked his tongue, irritated. He could always just leave for a different place again. There were plenty of places he could go, and he was always ready to leave. With a trunk, a cage for Darling, and an old car carrying just those two things, he could go anywhere.
"Shall we just sleep, Darling?"
Picking up the cat from his lap, he stood up. The cat immediately rubbed its head against Dane's face, as if waiting for him to get up. Dane climbed the stairs quickly, taking two or three at a time, heading for the bedroom. As usual, Darling settled beside him, and they both quickly fell asleep.
Keith Knight Pittman was in a very bad mood. Anyone would have the same reaction when an uninvited guest barged in and disturbed the silence of the mansion while he was deep in sleep, and Keith couldn't throw him out. He looked at the man sitting across from him in the reception room, his face scrunched up as he exhaled an unpleasant pheromone.
"Grayson Miller, do you know what time it is?"
"2 AM."
Grayson replied shamelessly without hesitation. Keith's eyebrows twitched, but he soon closed his eyes with a sigh and rubbed his forehead.
"So, what’s the reason for coming here at this hour? I was asleep, you know."
By this time, Grayson should have started babbling nonsense, as he usually did—something like how nice the weather was or how he suddenly thought of Keith.
But today, Grayson was different. The cold, stiff expression on his face was proof of that. Grayson, who always wore a fake smile, revealing his true face like this was an ominous sign.

"I’m curious about something."
"Say it. And hurry up and leave."
Keith spat out the last words as if he was chewing them. There was a faint sound of teeth grinding, but Grayson paid no attention and asked.
"Do you know how to find an extreme omega?"
"What?"
Keith’s frown deepened. Suddenly, in the dead of night, someone appeared out of nowhere spouting nonsense, and Grayson, showing his unease, swept his hair back.
"You’re the only one I can ask. So tell me, do you know?"
What Grayson and Keith had in common was that they both had the same biological traits as their creators. They were both extreme omegas, just like the one Grayson was looking for. But the only person who could answer the question Grayson had was Keith's extreme omega, Angel. Unlike Koi, Angel frequently disappeared, and every time, Keith's alphas, including his father, found him and dragged him back.
Up until now, Grayson had treated their actions as an amusing spectacle. After all, it was someone else’s problem. But this time, things were different. Now that he was in their shoes, his anxiety was indescribable.
Looking at Grayson, Keith, still with a frown on his face, answered.
"There’s no such thing."
The color drained from Grayson’s face. Keith, without mercy, had crushed his only hope and asked sarcastically.
"If you had a brain, you’d think about it. If there was such a thing, why would my fathers go through all that trouble?"
There was no rebutting that. The only idea Grayson had managed to come up with was futile, and realizing that made him feel helpless for the first time. He closed his eyes and tilted his head back, letting out a long, frustrated sigh, which Keith took as an opportunity to add.
"You know this, but when an extreme omega gets excited during sex, spots appear on their pelvis."
Grayson looked at him, puzzled by the slow delivery. Why hadn’t he thought of that?
No, even if he had, he wouldn’t have remembered. The only thing that remained in his mind was how incredibly enchanting her chest was. Grayson barely managed to swallow the rising sigh that threatened to escape his throat.
"Isn’t there a way to trigger a heat cycle in an extreme omega?"
Anyway, Keith was the only one he could get information from. Keith, grinning, responded.
"It takes five extreme alphas. Do you think you can manage that?"
Grayson furrowed his brow and remained silent, but Keith seemed indifferent.
"Now you know why Angel needs five extreme alphas."
"Ha."
This time, Grayson couldn’t hold back the sigh. With a headache, he rubbed his forehead and muttered to himself.
"We’ll just have to find out by having sex."
"Not a bad idea."
Keith agreed. After all, it was what Grayson had been doing all along. He could release the pheromones and find the person he was looking for. It might even be a win-win situation.
"Thanks, this helped a lot."
Grayson stood up without hesitation and thanked Keith. Keith grumbled with a frown.
"Don’t just show up like this again. It’s a huge nuisance."
But Keith knew better. If they had another matter to discuss, Grayson would be back again. Sure enough, instead of promising to never show up again, Grayson narrowed his eyes and smiled mysteriously as he looked at him.
As Grayson’s car left the mansion, Keith stood by the window and thought to himself. Should I head east?
