Lexi gave Zach a blank look. It was a statement that no other summoner would take seriously, except the principal and the Empress Dowager and maybe Ozra. It was a statement that most summoners would never dream of turning into reality.

But for some reason, Lexi had a feeling that if someone could do it, it was Zach.

"Good luck with that, I guess. Let me know if you need my help," She said before returning to inspecting her familiar.

Zach nodded. He looked at his familiars. Yanael, Alzara, Soara, and Mandra. Mandra was already SSS-rank, and Soara just needed to regain her original strength. With what she had done against the Hydra, it seemed like she was already on the way to that. That left Yanael and Alzara.

Yanael had evolved recently, and it might take a while until then. Zach also didn't even want to try to repeat the process that had led to her evolution. So, he turned to Alzara.

"Do you have any ideas about what might help you evolve?" He asked bluntly.

Alzara shrugged helplessly.

"Sorry, Master, I have no idea. Evolution like this is only a thing for familiars. Before I became one… It isn't something I know enough about to theorize what might lead to my evolution."

Zach nodded in understanding. It wasn't strange that Alzara didn't know. Evolution was a mysterious process that was different for every rank and every familiar.

"I guess we'll stop by the Academy and ask the principal," He said, shuddering as soon as the words left his mouth. He had vowed never to return. Oh, how easily he broke that vow just for a glimpse of hope in furthering his path as a summoner.

"Before that…" Lexi spoke up. She had something she needed to ask.

"Yeah?"

"Where did—where did you get the clothes for your maids?" She asked.

Zach raised an eyebrow.

"Nowhere. They came with them."

"I see…" Lexi hung with her head. Her familiar had just been born. It wasn't strange she didn't have any clothes. However, her eyes soon lit up.

That meant she was free to clothe her as she wished.

She grabbed the SSS-rank Primordian by the hand and stood up.

"We're going shopping!" She said excitedly.

Zach could already imagine it. She was going to make her familiar wear all kinds of pretty, frilly dresses. He gave the ignorant and innocent child a look of pity. She tilted her head.

"Back to the surface we go, I guess," he said tiredly. He wanted to rest.

The thirtieth floor was clear of monsters, but the growing cold didn't exactly make it a very hospitable place. He felt like he had forgotten something, but he stood up anyway and brought his familiars, his sister, and her familiar out of the Labyrinth.

While they ascended through the floors, he thought about what he could have forgotten, but it was only when he started getting close to the surface that he realized something he hadn't done in a long while.

He had asked Lexi to check her summoning interface, but he hadn't checked his own in ages. He hadn't killed the Hydra, so he wouldn't have gotten any levels from that, but he and his familiars had killed a lot of monsters during their first descent through the Labyrinth. He had to have leveled up a bit. He was also curious about any other possible changes.

He didn't quite feel up to it yet, since his body was in shambles, but it was starting to get time to summon another familiar. He wanted to see if he was ready.

Zach's eyes widened. He had indeed leveled up a bit, but not much more than he had expected.

The main points of interest were his titles and the new addition to the summoning interface, his acquired skills.

Usurpation was Usurpation. Surge…was probably the way he activated his world essence energy to strengthen his body far beyond its limits. He was a little surprised that it counted as a skill in and of itself. But he didn't mind. If it was registered as a skill like his contract skills, it meant it was that good.

He had made it himself, so he felt pretty proud.

It also meant he could continue improving and refining it like he did with his contract skills, most of them at least.

Chaos…Had to be the thing that the Hydra gave him before leaving. She had mentioned something that made it sound similar to her ability of Usurpation. Then, it made sense it was listed in the same category. The part about it being sealed…

Zach's mind flashed.

She had said she couldn't control it and that maybe he could.

He remembered that head with an unknown power that seemed insane and outside anyone's control. Given that the Hydra's goal was to remove its heads, Zach hadn't thought much more about that head assisting him in killing the head of Fire, but maybe it had done that because it was a head of Chaos.

Zach could imagine how, when the Hydra removed its heads and brought all of her powers back to her main body, she did not want a power of insanity and unpredictability, a power that she couldn't control. But she couldn't just keep it, either. So, she had sealed it until she figured out what to do with it, and then she figured out what to do with it. She gave it to Zach.

Zach did not know what he thought about that. It was nice that it was sealed at least.

But seals with the Hydra as the context could be a little unreliable.

How much hadn't he heard that the Hydra's seal was unbreakable?

It hadn't even been heard to break it.

Of course, one was a seal made for the Hydra, and the other was made by the Hydra.

Still, Zach was wary. He could not forget that he had a lurking danger inside him that could explode at any moment and turn him insane. He sighed as they returned to the surface.

How was he supposed to stay calm when the Hydra gave him such a gift?
