Extra's Path To Demon King-Chapter 91: Continental Geography

Thus, the lecture of Professor Darwin for that day was concluded. Everyone was going out for the next general lecture, which was apparently about continental geography. While going out, Axel was arguing with Heinz about why he didn’t wake him up sooner.

Heinz stated, "Come on, man. I tried to wake you up, but you weren’t opening your eyes no matter what."

"Yeah, right, you definitely had fun, while everyone was looking at me funny, huh?" rebuked Axel.

Axel was making fun of the guy, while Heinz thought he was serious about it. After bickering unnecessarily for a while, Heinz eventually asked,

"By the way, what is the deal with guy Ken? Why is he always after you somehow?"

"So, you noticed? Huh," replied Axel calmly.

Heinz nodded and gestured for him to continue. Axel spoke with deep hatred within,

"Well, my family is in their governing territory, and he looks down on me and my family."

Heinz frowned, "Fucking nobles."

Their topic of conversation shifted slightly as they both started trash-talking about all the nobles and high society in general. However, in the middle of it, Axel noticed a certain something about him, the guy always talks about his fascination with spears again and again, as he asked skeptically, "Were you Crow? In the masked competition?"

Heinz looked at him with wide open eyes and said, "Wait a damn minute, you’re Viper?"

Axel immediately kicked him in the crotch and said, "I’m Salazar, you dumbass. Do I look like a woman?"

"Ahh, goddamn it you bastard, I’ll kill you if there’s even a scratch on my balls."

Axel had already left while Heinz was still rolling on the ground in pain.

While everyone had left Professor Darwin’s classroom, one person remained aside from the professor. It was the Valkyrie.

The Valkyrie looked at the professor questioningly, sensing around for a moment and making sure that there was indeed no one else in the room, the professor stated,

"Miss Sophia, it’s a bit problematic that all the boys keep gawking at you in the lecture."

Sophia’s red eyes gleamed dangerously, but the professor spoke again to clear up the misunderstandings, "What I mean is that please do something about it."

"I know the royal family of Suncrest does not want you to show your strength in public, but I beg to differ, and the headmaster has promised that you will not be held accountable in any way by them, just for showing your strength and putting all those boys in their place."

"We know you have more than enough strength to do so, and I don’t think you like all those unwanted gazes more than I do," stated the professor with a smile.

The Valkyrie said nothing more and simply stood up, going towards the classroom for the next lecture. At a distance, the 4th prince and 5th princess were waiting for her. Then they started going together. Lucian asked, "So, what was that about?"

She spoke expressionlessly, "I can now do something about all those stares."

Lucian chuckled, and Lumina stated with an apologetic smile, "I’m sorry, it’s all because of the royal family, and we’re not able to help you with that."

The Valkyrie’s expression changed for the first time as she said with a sigh, she only considered two people as her friends in this foreign world, one was the 4th prince who shielded her from all the vicious royals.

Who only saw her as a chess piece, and considering how beautiful she is, some even wanted to marry her off to the 4th prince himself, since he was the most talented one, and Lucian himself refused on that idea of his own accord. She discovered slowly that the 4th prince never looked at her with lust or had any alternative motive against her.

Lucian’s sister Lumina also treated her very kindly as if she were her own sister. Sophia placed a hand on Luminas’ shoulder and said, "How many times do I have to repeat myself? I hate the fact that you make me repeat the same content over and over again."

Lucien chimed in, "Yes, Lumi, she knows we are powerless on that matter. Not to mention, my father and my ’dear’ stepmother never saw us both kindly, then trying to help Sophia made it worse, not that I regret anything, of course."

Lumina reassured his brother, "Don’t worry, brother, one day when you and sister Sophia are strong enough. They won’t be able to do anything to us. And don’t worry that you didn’t get a 4-star aspect, I’m sure you can think of a way, you are always the smartest person I’ve known."

Sophia gave Lucien a meaningful look, and He only gave a dry smile, while Sophia did not know that Lucien had the dragon bloodline, but she knew that he was hiding his strength.

She tactfully did not reveal that to Lumina and said,

"Lucien, you should stop your stupid cousin from troubling that person; he is quite strong, kind of like you."

Lucien frowned, hearing that, "So, you can also sense it? I cannot exactly sense his strength, but he gives me a sense of wariness. But I don’t believe he is as strong as I, let alone you?"

"He should not be stronger than you, but the difference may not be too big. Your cousin won’t meet a good end if he keeps being hostile to that person. I know, despite the arrogance of that trash, you seem to care about Ken Dusker," stated Sophia, looking at Axel’s back in the distance, where he and Heinz Gil were walking together.

Lumina chimed in, "That is because, despite brother Ken’s unlikable, greedy, and arrogant personality towards others, he always supported us, since we were helpless children in the royal palace. And our mother adores Ken quite a bit."

Lucien stated with squinted eyes, "Alright, I will tell him to be careful, I mean warn him seriously. But what about that person named Heinz? You don’t sense anything about him?"

Sophia replied, "He is also strong, but I don’t sense anything unusual from him, unlike that person named Axel."

"Uh, so his name is Axel?" asked Lucien.

"That seems to be the case," added Sophia.

But Lumina apparently started laughing, and so did Lucien, seeing how Axel just kicked Heinz’s ball right in the open, and the guy started rolling around on the ground and cursing.

Even the ever so stoic Valkyries mouth twitched seeing that as a small laughter wanted to escape her mouth but was unable to end in the end, as she hid her desire to laugh in the very next moments.

But Lumina did not miss that small gesture, and started laughing again, saying how even the mighty Valkyrie was about to laugh aloud. Thankfully, there wasn’t anyone else besides them or outside for that matter. Otherwise, it would be quite shameful that the 4th prince and 5th princess were laughing like that with no ounce of eloquence.

But a small smile eventually escaped the lips of the stoic Valkyrie, thinking about how brutally Axel had kicked the balls of Heinz Gil without mercy. She didn’t even know how long it had been since she last laughed or smiled, for that matter. Lumina almost pitied that poor guy, Heinz.

Heinz hurriedly got up after a second and ran after Axel.

Similar to the lecture of Professor Darwin, everyone was seated in the class right before the few minutes of starting time, and when the clock hit the right time, a woman wearing a small witch-like hat walked in. She introduced herself.

"You can address me as Professor Regina. I shall be talking about Continental Geography and history in general."

"Well, the class name is geography, but you will only get to know how pathetically weak our human race is against the other races. And unfortunately, it is important for every future powerhouse to know what line can and cannot be crossed when it comes to the 7 ruling races of the continent," added Professor Regina.

"Let’s first talk about the land distribution of the 7 main races of the continent. And the continent of ours is huge and I mean disgustingly huge. Just the known and habitable area of the continent is 2500 million square kilometers."

"Demons alone rule almost 24% of the continent."

"Dragons 20%, both these races cover the entire eastern section of the continent."

"In the north Elven Empire and the Venus Empire, also known as the Serpent Empire, each rule 12% area."

"In the south, Orc and Ogre Tribes also each rule 12% area."

"Then there is the infamous ghost Island filled with the ghost race, or some call them undead. It exists as the largest Island nearest to the continent on the southwestern section of the continent, closest to us. That island alone is also close to 5% of the continent."

"As for us humans, the entire human lands, all three great kingdoms and 6 minor kingdoms together, is 1% area of the continent and maybe even less."

"Thankfully, the periphery of the western section is the most less energy dense area in the entire continent, and the other races almost refuse to acknowledge our existence. Because of the sheer difference in Powerful individuals."

"And even within the same power level, each of the other races’ powerhouses is significantly stronger."

At this moment, Heinz put his hand up, he seemed to be wanting to ask a question, the professor gestured for him to speak, seeing his raised hands.
