Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God-Chapter 1141 - 647: Use the Enemy’s Plan Against Them
Chapter 1141: Chapter 647: Use the Enemy’s Plan Against Them
Gregory replied impatiently, "Don’t clothe your intentions in such niceties. Aren’t you just trying to turn me into your puppet? Me as king, you as god... Stop dreaming. Without her Majesty, no one could control all the Half-Dragons and Evil Fangs. The entire Tun Marsh would descend into chaos and bloodshed. Do you think your Serpent Marsh could escape unscathed? I advise you, don’t indulge in such unrealistic dreams. Instead, join forces with me to find a way to rescue her Majesty. Since she didn’t devour you back then, it shows that she values you highly. If she is pleased, she might even reinstate you as her Vizier, which is much less risky than what you are attempting now."
"Do you think I would make the same mistake twice? Do you think I am only trying to control your tribe and your offspring?" The Abhorrent Serpent People demonstrated their aptness to the name with their very actions, which made people despise them to the bones.
Fear was undisguised in Gregory’s eyes: "Could it be you’ve controlled all the tribes? Impossible? How is that possible? Where did you get so many troops?"
Although only some of the old and weak women and children of the Blackscale Lizardfolk Tribe remained, they belonged to a nomadic hunting tribe, and with the Black Dragon Bloodline flowing in their bodies, they were not helpless in the face of danger.
Anachet had previously informed him that he had control over his tribe, which he believed; utilizing the entire Serpent People Tribe’s power from Serpent Marsh, they could indeed achieve this. But now being told that fifteen Blackscale Lizardman tribes were simultaneously under control, he could not believe it due to the sheer size of the matter.
In the Blackscale Lizardfolk Tribe, there were no women and children involved in combat, at least more than double the Lizardfolk Army’s size, with each tribe averaging at least a thousand people. The Serpent People from Serpent Marsh, even by giving one person each from their side, couldn’t possibly assign a hundred people per tribe. The number disparity was tenfold and in mere minutes, women and children from the Blackscale Lizardfolk Tribe could tear them to pieces, toss them into a stew pot, making them the evening’s dinner.
"Do you think I would lie to you about something so important?" Anachet waved his hand, and the water in the Corrosion Pool churned, displaying different images of Blackscale Lizardfolk Tribe from a bird’s-eye view. Their women and children were all gathered inside the tribe’s straw longhouses, surrounded by dozens of Serpent People holding torches, as well as a significant number of vigilant Blackscaled Lizardfolk, at least two to three hundred in each village.
With just one command, those Serpent People could throw their torches into the straw longhouses, instantly turning the place into a Flame Hell, burning alive all the imprisoned Lizardfolk women, children, and elderly.
Gregory knew the other party wasn’t deceiving him with an Illusion Technique, as this wasn’t the ability of the Abhorrent Serpent People but that of the Corrosion Pool. Despite looking like a mere puddle of stagnant water, it actually possessed magical abilities as a surveillance pool, used to observe the conditions across Tun Marsh—a crucial method for the Lizard Queen to control the Lizard Court and also her most important amusement during her meals.
The only territory in Tun Marsh the pool could not observe was Serpent Marsh, not because the Lizard Queen wanted to make it a lawless land but because it was cloaked in a far more powerful and overwhelming force, beyond her control.
"A traitor? Since when did our tribe have so many traitors?" Gregory’s face turned stormy, as if those Serpent People, with the help of numerous Lizardfolk traitors, could truly bring his earlier words to fruition, since this was a matter of one supporting the other.
"No, not traitors, rather our own clansmen, who have simply returned to the embrace of the Serpent God," Anachet corrected, noting that these Lizard Serpent People had already been exposed and could no longer remain hidden, so there was no point in secrecy anymore.
"You’ve been mixing our clansmen’s blood," Gregory’s expression grew even grimmer. Producing mixed blood wasn’t a matter that could be accomplished in a day or two; these Serpent People had been plotting this conspiracy not just recently but continuously for decades. What terrified him the most was that he had never noticed those cold-blooded Serpent People constantly around him, thinking of how many Lizard Serpent People were hidden among the Lizardfolk Army.
"How about it? Now do you believe that I have the capability to elevate you to the position of King of Tun Marsh?" The Abhorrent Serpent Person Anachet completely disregarded Gregory’s expression, continuing the previous topic, "After all these years, haven’t you had enough of being oppressed by that greedy fat dragon? All the wealth was created by you, but you have no right to keep any; all the catch is yours, yet most go into her greedy, insatiable stomach. Your people, your offspring, even you yourself have to endure hunger. Do you think this is fair?
She is the biggest cancer of Tun Marsh. Just eradicate her, and all the wealth in the Dragon’s Nest Treasury, I don’t want a single copper coin—it’s all yours to manage. You can choose to keep it yourself or distribute it among your clansmen.
Even the catch from your tribes will be yours to control. With sufficient food, your clansmen could triple in just a decade or two. You could let all tribes develop together or let your own tribe and offspring gain more resources, spawning more descendants, becoming the royal tribe of Tun Marsh, and assisting your rule."
