FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO-Chapter 267: Confronting Gwen
"Real father!" One of the pregnant inmates with a bold tattoo of Medusa on her right forearm snorted at the warden's statement.
"Did that brainless b*tch hit her head on the wall or something?" The red hair pregnant lady spat out.
"Watch your tongue, Nora. Enough with the curse word." The warden glared, pointing her forefinger threateningly at the four month pregnant woman.
"Make me." Nora stuck out her tongue at the scowling warden daring her to do her worse.
"But seriously Gwen, isn't the senator your father?" Another pregnant inmate asked, taking note of Gwen's spooked expression.
This made other inmates, who felt endeared to Gwen due to her father's political status stare at her quizzically.
"Of course, he is my father. Why would you ask me such a dumb question?" Gwen quickly wiped off the look of shock on her face while wearing a sarcastic expression.
The three-month-pregnant lady who had just been indoctrinated into the criminal-minded sisterhood immediately apologized for her wrong assumption, lowering her gaze.
"Mrs Morgan, I do not have all day." The warden struck her wooden baton on the iron bar gate. "If you won't see your sister then I better pass the message across to her."

The warden was about to leave when Gwen's sharp caustic voice called out to her.
"Wait!"
Gwen lazily stood up, dragging her feet on the concrete floor, her gaze still on her inmate sisters, who were now looking surprised.
"Let me just put her out of her misery. You know with her husband in prison, she might be looking for someone to lean on."
"Oh..." The notorious pregnant woman in the group snickered, grinning wickedly.
"Karma is indeed of b*tch." One of the inmates tittered like a witch. "Look at where she is now, after putting her own family in prison for something they could have handled amicably."
"I can't believe the almighty Blaze Anderson is in prison and might be facing a life sentence if found guilty of manslaughter." One of the pregnant inmates said dreamily as if prison could be compared to a luxurious life in the Bahamas.
"Oh please...his wife is next." Nora's eyes glimmered with hate. Amongst the other pregnant inmates, she was the only one who knew Gwen's real identity without the latter realizing.
"Then give her this message for me, Gwen." The small but mighty leader of the group, who had barely uttered a word, sneered. "If she is found guilty of collaborating with her devilishly charming husband, she is most welcome to join us here, at the Nova correctional centre."
Other inmates burst out into laughter.
"Sure thing, G1. I will happily deliver your message to her." Gwen smirked slyly as she followed the warden into the prisoners' visitation room.
Inside the prison visiting common room, the atmosphere was alive with the emotional chatter between inmates and their visiting friends or families.
While some of these visitors were happily chatting with their loved ones, the extremely emotional ones could barely hold back their tears as most were seen crying, wishing they could reach out and hold their loved ones.
Seated in booth three, behind a glass partition separating inmates from visitors and waiting for Gwen to show up, Amelia felt an overwhelming sense of depression, as she watched two lovers in booth four converse.
The slightly mature man, who was holding his rambunctious two-year-old child, was crying hopelessly while speaking to his hardened looking wife over the phone, telling her how much he missed her and couldn't do this anymore without her.
Amelia couldn't help but notice the switch in personality with the man acting as the woman and vice versa. But she still felt sorry for them.
The couple conversation unconsciously brought tears to Amelia's eyes as it dawned on her that Blaze might be imprisoned in a foreign country for life or worse, if the people responsible for the ghastly explosion were not found.
The rattling of metal cuffs, followed by a cynical laughter snapped Amelia's thought back to the glass partition opposite her.
The sight of an overweight woman in a yellow loose-fitting jumpsuit, -with a protruding belly, a rounder face and larger breasts almost like those of Regina,- scowling at her made Amelia jaw drop.
"Gwen!" Amelia muttered under her breath while staring at the scowling woman before her.
On the opposite side of the glass partition, Gwen lazily took her seat, her scrunched fat face looking like an overweight child who had just been denied her favourite ice cream. She slowly picked up the intercom on the table, her cold and sharp gaze scanning Amelia intently.
It was difficult for Gwen to tell if Amelia was nineteen weeks pregnant like her father had confided in her.
There were no obvious signs, except for her fuller chest and her natural pregnancy glow.
'How come I look this fat and ugly at barely six months of pregnancy while my cursed step-sister still looks trimmed and beautiful.' Gwen sneered.
"Did you miss your way, Mrs, I am more superior than others?" Gwen hissed over the phone like a snake as Amelia picked up the receiver.
"Probably!" Amelia suppressed the urge to laugh at Gwen's somewhat cute but funny scowls. "Because I don't seem to recognize the woman before me. Are you by any chance Mrs Gwen Morgan?"
"Very funny." Gwen spat out, her narrowed eyes shooting laser.
"Of course you are. How could I not recognize that signature sharp tongue that always gets you in trouble."
"You can sit down there and say all the nasty things you want about me. But guess what, I have paid my dues. I no longer owe you a dime thanks to Dad. In two days, I'll be a free woman. But I can't say that about you seeing that your husband is now an international cold-blooded murderer. Who knows tomorrow you might be found an accessory to murder and end up in a far worse hole than this place? When that time comes, we will see who has the last laugh."
"Hmm..." Amelia chuckled, her grip tightening on the phone as anger slowly seeped through her veins like molten lava. But she kept an aloof demeanour as if what Gwen said about Blaze didn't scratch the surface of her heart.
