Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem-Chapter 106: Velvet Waltz Begins
Chapter 106: Velvet Waltz Begins
Velra stood still, her arms relaxed by her sides, her head tilted slightly.
Across from her, the new guests were Korin and Tyven.
Korin twirled his whip lazily in one hand.
A smug smile appeared on his face.
Beside him, Tyven cracked his knuckles.
Electricity sparked faintly across his gauntlets.
Behind them, Dareth was smiling in amusement.
He didn’t move yet. He just watched.
Korin chuckled first.
"So this is the famous Velvet Demon?"
"Doesn’t look like much to me," Tyven added, flexing his arms.
"Bet she folds after the first real hit."
Velra didn’t answer.
She only smiled slightly behind her mask.
Agility Boost activated silently inside her body.
Her muscles sharpened.
Her legs felt lighter. Faster.
Korin snapped his whip toward her feet, trying to trip her fast.
Velra’s body blurred.
Quick Step.
She slid sideways, avoiding the whip with ease.
Tyven rushed forward, throwing a heavy punch straight at her.
Velra stepped into him without fear.
At the last second, she twisted her body, spinning low.
Spinning Kick.
Her heel slammed into Tyven’s side, making his heavy body stumble sideways.
He grunted in surprise.
Korin whistled. "Fast little thing, aren’t you?"
He swung again—this time aiming higher.
Velra ducked under it easily.
Her feet glided across the ground like she was dancing.
"Your arms are fast."
"But your eyes are slow."
She rushed forward and closed the distance.
Her leg snapped up.
Hard Kick.
She struck Korin’s wrist.
CRACK.
He dropped his whip with a surprised shout, holding his hand.
Velra circled around him slowly, still relaxed.
"I thought you two were supposed to test me."
Tyven growled and charged again, fists covered in electric sparks.
Velra let him swing.
At the last moment, she crossed her arms in front of her chest.
Bone Tighten activated.
His punch hit her arms.
But she barely moved. freēnovelkiss.com
She tilted her head at him.
"Was that it?"
Before Tyven could pull back, she spun again.
Another Spinning Kick.
This time hitting the side of his knee.
CRACK.
He dropped to one knee, teeth gritted in pain.
"Don’t get too comfortable."
Korin grabbed his whip again with his uninjured hand.
Velra just waved a finger at him, teasing.
"You’re both too slow."
"Try again."
Dareth laughed softly in the background.
He was still leaning against the wall, arms crossed.
"Good warm-up."
"Don’t finish her too fast, boys. I want to enjoy this."
Velra’s eyes gleamed behind the mask.
She wasn’t even breathing hard yet.
Korin then snapped his whip toward her head, faster this time.
Velra leaned to the side, dodging smoothly.
But now, as she moved, she activated Shock Trace.
Electric sparks trailed behind her every motion.
Korin’s whip accidentally crossed through one of the electric trails.
ZAP!
He yelped, his arm jerking involuntarily.
"What the hell—?!"
Velra smiled slightly.
She slid forward like a blur.
A sharp, hard kick struck Korin’s ribs.
CRACK.
She sent him sprawling against a dumpster.
Tyven rushed her again, teeth bared.
His fists flared with electricity.
Velra danced backward.
Each step left faint lines behind her feet.
This time, invisible Blade Traces scattered across the ground.
Tyven charged through blindly.
One step—
SLASH.
His calf was sliced.
He staggered.
Another step—
SLASH.
Blood sprayed from his thigh.
"AGH!"
"What’s wrong?" Velra mocked softly.
"Losing your balance?"
She dashed behind him.
She then delivered a brutal Spinning Kick to the back of his head.
He collapsed face-first onto the concrete.
Velra turned to Korin, who was still gasping for air.
She slowly walked toward him, her heels clicking softly.
Korin backed up, wide-eyed.
"You—you cheat—!"
Velra tilted her head.
"Don’t be silly. You walked into it yourself."
She flicked her leg lazily through the air.
Another Shock Trace sparkled behind her motion.
Korin tried to strike her again, swinging wildly.
He stepped onto the Shock Trace trail.
ZAP!
His body convulsed, and Velra finished it with a Hard Kick to the chest.
She launched him across the alley like a ragdoll.
BAM!
Both Tyven and Korin were now groaning on the ground.
They were beaten and humiliated.
Dareth’s relaxed smile faded.
His arms uncrossed slowly.
He straightened up from the wall, frowning.
"...Tch."
He didn’t expect them to lose this fast.
Not without even forcing her to breathe hard.
Velra turned her masked face toward him.
And she pointed at him.
"Your turn."
Dareth stared back at her, his jaw tight.
For the first time, there was no smirk on his face.
He stepped forward, chains loosening from his wrists.
"You think you can beat me?"
Velra didn’t answer right away.
She just tilted her head, almost like she was curious.
"Beat you?"
"No."
She took a single step forward, smirking.
"I’m going to break you."
Dareth spun a chain toward her face, fast.
Velra vanished and reappeared just beside him.
The chain sliced empty air.
Before Dareth could react, Velra brushed past him lightly with her hand.
No real hit.
But she left a Venom Trace across his arm as she moved.
Dareth blinked. "Tch... missed."
He turned to swing again.
But then—his fingers twitched slightly.
His arm felt heavier.
"What the—?"
Velra’s voice whispered behind him.
"Feeling it yet?"
She flickered again.
Another brush across his side.
This time layering Shock Trace as well.
A thin line of static crawled along his chain.
He swung again—more desperate now.
Each step he took.
He unknowingly crossed over her Blade Traces.
One step—
SLASH.
A shallow cut appeared across his thigh.
He growled, forcing his muscles to move.
Another step—
SLASH.
A deeper line opened on his shoulder.
Velra’s voice was playful now.
"You’re leaking."
Dareth hissed and launched both chains outward, trying to trap her.
But again.
She blurred, quick-stepping behind him, light on her feet.
She kicked lightly.
Not even with force.
Just to nudge him into another trail.
His foot dragged through a Venom Trace.
His muscles began to cramp.
"You were so proud once," Velra said mockingly.
"Dragging little girls into alleys."
"Snapping their bones just to feel strong."
She moved in a slow circle around him.
Her every step weaved more deadly trails.
"And now look at you," she continued.
"Tripping over your own chains. Bleeding like a pig."
Dareth gritted his teeth, trying to ignore the poison.
He lashed out wildly, but hit nothing.
Velra appeared just behind his back.
"You’re not worth a clean death," she whispered.
She kicked again.
This time a real strike.
Sending him staggering forward across a Shock Trace.
ZAP!
His body jerked, muscles locking.
He dropped to one knee, panting, one hand gripping the ground.
Velra slowly walked in front of him, arms crossed.
"You’ll crawl first," she said.
"Then beg."
"And maybe," she added with a cruel smirk.
"I’ll consider ending you."
Dareth stared up at her, hate and fear mixing in his eyes.
But he couldn’t move properly anymore.
And Velvet Demon hadn’t even started torturing him for real yet.
