Chapter 154: From Beauty to Brutality

Velra stood at the center of the chamber.

She lifted her hand, and activated the Flesh Chain Embrace.

A wave of invisible energy spread through the base.

Within minutes, footsteps echoed down the halls.

One by one, the girls arrived.

They stood in quiet rows, eyes calm, bodies alert.

Some wore sleek combat suits, others more basic training gear.

But all stood still, waiting.

Zain watched as they filled the chamber.

He started counting silently.

When the last one arrived, he spoke.

"Three hundred and three," he muttered.

He looked at Velra. "Is that all?"

Velra turned to him, voice calm. "Yes, Master."

Zain frowned. "Didn’t Valcair have way more than this?"

"He had a lot," Velra admitted. "But most of them were males or failed experiments."

"Mutated beasts. Broken minds. Useless in battle or control."

Zain crossed his arms. "So what’s left is just this?"

Velra nodded. "These 303 are the best I found."

She stepped forward, her eyes passing over the girls like a commander inspecting troops.

"They have strong bodies. Clear minds. They can follow orders. They can fight."

She paused.

"And yes," she added with a small smile, "they’re also the most beautiful ones."

Zain raised an eyebrow. "You picked based on looks?" fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

Velra smirked.

"Not just looks. But appearance does help."

"You wanted a sect that would draw attention, didn’t you?"

Zain looked back at the gathered girls.

Each one stood tall. No shaking. No hesitation.

He nodded slowly.

"I see... you’re quite smart."

Velra gave a small laugh. "Hehe. Thank you, Master."

Zain stepped forward, hands behind his back.

"Now, let’s give them some missions. No point letting them stand around."

Velra nodded quickly. "Of course, Master. I’ve already prepared the group structure."

"Oh?" Zain raised an eyebrow.

"Yes," Velra said proudly.

"They’re split into three main groups."

"Each group has smaller teams."

"Ten teams per group, with one leader overseeing them."

Zain glanced at the girls, then back at her. "So ten small teams in each group?"

"Yes," she confirmed.

"And each small team has around ten girls. A few are slightly larger."

"That’s good," Zain said. "Makes it easier to command."

Velra smiled. "Total is still 303 women. All trained. All loyal."

Zain turned to the gathered girls and gave a small smirk.

"Then let’s see how well they follow orders."

---

Zain slowly walked in front of the rows of women, scanning them carefully with his system.

His eyes moved from one face to the next, reading their stats silently.

Most of them had decent numbers. Strong bodies, clean movements, confident stances.

He frowned slightly.

"Most of them are A-Rank or B-Rank in stats," he muttered.

He looked toward the three women standing at the front.

Each with sharp eyes and calmer auras.

"They’re the group leaders?"

Velra nodded. "Yes, Master."

"All three have reached AA-Rank stat levels. They lead each of the main groups."

Zain turned back to the rest.

"But the abilities..." he said quietly, "they’re not great."

Velra said nothing at first, just listening.

Zain frowned a little more.

"They’ve got good physical stats, yes."

"But the skills—they’re average at best."

"Some can punch. Some can move fast."

"But no special abilities. No rare ones."

Velra stepped beside him.

"That’s true. Most were picked for loyalty, health, and strength."

"Their powers are basic."

Zain nodded slowly. "We’ll fix that."

He looked at the crowd of girls again.

"For now, I’ll give your first mission."

All eyes locked onto him.

"Go out," Zain said clearly. "Bring me corpses."

The girls looked at each other, confused for a second.

Velra, however, understood right away.

She stepped forward.

"At least A-Rank corpses. If you can find AA-Rank, even better."

Zain nodded. "Exactly. Don’t destroy the bodies. We need them intact."

The girls quickly straightened their backs and bowed.

"Yes, Master!" they said in unison.

Zain gave them a sharp look and smirked slightly.

"And if you manage to get those corpses... I’ll—"

Before he could finish, Velra stepped forward and gently raised her hand.

"Master," she said, her voice soft. "May I be the one to announce it?"

Zain looked at her for a moment, then nodded. "I see. Go ahead."

Velra turned toward the girls, her eyes serious.

"You all have strong bodies. Good stats. But your abilities are weak."

The girls looked at each other, unsure how to respond.

Velra continued, her voice loud and clear.

"With Master’s help... that will change."

Some of the girls gasped softly. "What do you mean?"

"Is that really possible?" another asked.

Velra smiled. "You’ll believe it soon. Because you’re Master’s slaves now."

She took a deep breath.

"Master is no normal man. He can give you new abilities."

"Strong ones. Ones others can only dream of."

The girls were shocked. "He can... give us abilities?"

Velra nodded.

"Yes. If you bring back corpses—at least A-Rank—he can use them."

She pointed to the ground with one finger.

"Bring him the bodies... and you’ll be rewarded."

The girls looked at Zain with wide eyes, filled with awe.

"A brand new ability," Velra said proudly.

"Something powerful. Something that will make you even stronger."

One of the girls raised her hand slowly. "Master... is it really true? You can do that?"

Zain nodded with a small smirk. "Yes. I can."

Another girl stepped forward. "Even if we don’t have talent?"

Zain looked at her. "Talent doesn’t matter. I can give you what others can’t."

The girls began whispering among themselves, excited and nervous.

"So if we bring back A-Rank or AA-Rank corpses..."

"We’ll get stronger?"

Velra nodded. "Exactly. This is your chance."

Zain spoke again. "You are part of the Heavenly Demon Sect now."

"That means you won’t stay weak."

He stepped forward, eyes cold but calm.

"Prove your worth. Bring back the corpses. And I’ll reward you."

The girls all bowed again.

"Yes, Master!"

Zain turned to Velra. "Prepare them. Send all of them."

He looked at the girls.

"Any corpse is okay. Beast, villain... even hero."

Velra smiled darkly and bowed. "As you command, Master."

She turned to the girls. "You heard him. No limits. Bring what you can. No questions."
