Chapter 160: We Villains Stick Together...

The villains were still talking when suddenly, the door creaked open.

All of them turned quickly.

A tall man stepped in, wearing a black hood that covered most of his face.

His body was large, broad-shouldered, and wrapped in rusted armor pieces.

His boots were heavy, his presence strong.

He said nothing at first.

The room went silent.

Finally, the man spoke with a low voice.

"So... who are these new people causing all this trouble?"

The scar-faced man stood up slowly. "You mean the ones killing everyone?"

The man nodded once.

The thin man with twitchy fingers replied, "Yeah, we’ve heard the same name over and over..."

He looked around, then said it quietly, "The Heavenly Demon Sect."

The large hooded man tilted his head. "Heavenly Demon... never heard of them."

The woman sitting on the crate spoke next. "That’s because they’re new. But strong."

"Real strong," the big guy added.

"They wiped out a lot of groups."

"Took out some A-Rank villains. Even some A-Rank heroes."

The scar-faced man stepped closer. "And not just killing. They take the bodies."

The hooded man paused, then smirked under his hood. His voice was amused now.

"I see..."

He licked his lips slightly.

"All girls, huh?"

The thin man nodded. "Yeah. All women. All wearing tight black and red suits."

The hooded man chuckled.

"And where were they last seen?"

The big guy answered quickly. "Near BD-5. But they move fast."

The woman frowned. "Be careful. They don’t talk. They don’t warn. They just kill."

"We as villains," she said, "need to look out for each other."

The hooded man slowly nodded. "Yeah... sure."

But his smirk didn’t go away.

His eyes gleamed under the hood with interest.

He turned toward the door. "Thanks for the info."

The scar-faced man gave him a nod. "Stay safe out there."

"We villains need to take care of each other," added the woman on the crate.

The big guy stood and crossed his arms. "Especially now, with those girls around."

The hooded man stopped at the doorway.

He turned his head just slightly and gave a low chuckle.

"Right," he said. "Take care of each other..."

Then he stepped out, his boots thudding softly against the floor.

The door creaked shut behind him.

Outside, the sky was dark, the wind cold.

The hooded man pulled the hood lower over his face and walked down the broken street.

His hand tightened into a fist.

"New players, huh?" he whispered to himself.

"All girls. Fast. Strong."

His smirk widened.

"Perfect."

He looked up at the night sky, his eyes glowing faint red under the hood.

"Perfect to test my new power."

He flexed his fingers, the faint sound of cracking bones and metal echoing under his armor.

"I wonder how they scream."

Then he walked into the night, his path already set.

And the hunt... had just begun.

---

Back in the secret base of the Heavenly Demon Sect, the black-and-red-clad girls returned one by one.

Their boots echoed through the stone halls as they entered the main chamber, heads high.

There were no casualties.

Some girls had bruises, cuts, or torn sleeves, but nothing serious.

No one needed to be carried. No one cried.

Injured or not, all of them walked on their own.

They were trained for this.

Strong. Sharp. Silent.

One by one, they began placing the corpses in the large hall at the center of the base.

The cold stone floor was soon covered with bodies.

B-Rank villains, mutated beasts and even some heroes corpses.

There were also some that were A-Rank.

Some were wrapped in cloth. Some were still stained with fresh blood.

The smell filled the room.

Iron. Death. Victory.

The girls didn’t flinch.

They stood in lines, watching as the corpses were stacked neatly, ready for their Master.

Velra stood near the front, arms crossed, her usual smile wider than usual.

She looked at the room filled with bodies and nodded in satisfaction.

"Master will be happy," she said softly, her voice full of pride.

One of the group leaders walked over to her and bowed slightly.

"No losses," she said. "A few light wounds. That’s all."

Velra glanced over the girl’s arm, wrapped in cloth. "You did well."

The leader nodded. "Thank you, Lady Velra."

Another girl stepped forward.

"We captured one alive, but he bit his tongue and died before we could bring him back."

Velra chuckled. "Cowards die fast."

The girls behind her all smirked lightly.

Velra walked to the center of the hall, her heels tapping slowly.

She stopped in front of the pile of corpses and took a deep breath.

The scent didn’t bother her.

In fact, it pleased her.

"Each one of these bodies..." she whispered, "is another step forward."

A few girls glanced at each other, excited but quiet.

"When will Master see them?" one asked softly.

"Soon," Velra replied. "He’s watching everything. He’ll come when it’s time."

She looked back at the pile.

"Be ready. When he arrives, he may test some of you."

"Yes, Lady Velra!" the girls replied in one voice.

---

Far away from the base, Zain sat alone in his room, leaning back in his chair, one arm resting on the armrest.

Suddenly, he felt it.

A warm, strange wave of emotion.

He opened his eyes slowly, a faint smirk growing on his face.

"She’s happy," he muttered.

He could feel it clearly now. Velra’s satisfaction. Her pride.

Zain leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees.

"The girls must have brought a lot of corpses," he said with a low laugh.

He stood up and stretched his arms.

"Well then..."

He looked toward the window, the sky outside still dark.

"Let’s go see what my loyal girls brought me."

Without wasting another second, he threw on his coat, slipped on his boots, and stepped out of the apartment.

No one saw him leave.

He moved through the shadows, fast and quiet.

Within minutes, he was gone from the city.

And heading straight for the hidden base of the Heavenly Demon Sect.
