Lady Meilin is seduced by her green tea brother-in-law everyday-Chapter 148: The general and homework.
Chapter 148: The general and homework.
"Tang Bingwen, what do you mean by that? Are you trying to curse your sister?" Their mother snapped at him.
Casually, Tang Bingwen stood up. "If that is what you think then take it that way." He looked at Yue and said slowly but in an angry voice, "Yue do not think that all of us are fools. You say that Jun Meilin shared the news of her pregnancy with the peep star but how did she get her hands on your report?
That picture is of a physical document that is given by a doctor to an individual directly. Even if it is mailed, it is sent to your house, not Jun Meilin’s house. Moreover, that yellow and blue flower and butterfly Egyptian cotton duvet in the background is yours.
I went with with you when you bought it. Or have you forgotten? This means the picture was taken from your bedroom and it is highly probable that you did this yourself."
"I...I didn’t..." Tang Yue denied.
Angrier, Tang Bingwen bellowed, "Do you even see the picture of your thumb on the paper. You have the same nail polish on your nails right now." He pointed at her nails and she folded her fingers in an attempt to hide them.
"You must have been trying to provoke Jun Meilin as usual but she got the upper hand by sending the picture to the peepstar." Tang Bingwen shook his head because he was at a complete loss on why she was behaving the way she was. "You already got what you wanted, Jun Meilin is divorcing Mo Liang. What else do you want?"
"She wants to protect A Hao’s interests of course." Their mother answered, holding Tang Yue’s hands protectively. "Haven’t you seen the news online? Jun Meilin will be getting one hundred fifty thousand yuan a month in child support. Why should she get such an amount of money after divorcing? If she wants full custody of Mingzhu, she should take full responsibility for her daughter."
"Exactly." Tang Yue nodded. "At most she should get one thousand yuan a month."
Tang Yue’s mother nodded even more. "You are right. She has her own company and she is making a lot of money. Why does she have to be greedy for the money which belongs to my grandchildren. Now that there is another mouth on the way for Mo Liang to feed, Jun Meilin should be more understanding and compromise."
"Compromise!" Tang Bingwen sneered at them. "Yue, use your brain sometimes. If you were her, would you compromise? You are the bad guy here, you and Mo Liang cheated her and you broke her family apart. Stop acting righteous as if you are the one that has been wronged.
Stop messing with her for heavens sake!Think about the rest of the family and not just yourself. I am also affected by the things you do. Sometimes I wonder how a brainless person like you became a doctor."
He stormed out of the living room and left. Tang Yue was already sobbing as if his words were harsher than anything she had ever heard.
Her mother was still trying to comfort her. "Stop crying, I will talk to your aunt Lili again and see keep pushing her to arrange a meeting of our family and the Jun family. After you meet, you can state your demands. Isn’t Jun Meilin doing all this just because she loves Mo Liang? If you compromise a little and let her be his second wife, she will back down."
"I don’t want to do it. I will not share my husband with that slut. I refuse..." Tang Yue sobbed.
"Aiyo, stop crying. You are carrying a precious child in your womb, the second national space baby. We should reach out to the royal office and share the good news. I don’t believe that they will not be interested.
Also, don’t forget that you are related to the benevolent doctor Tang Siming. If Xue Lili won’t help, we can go to him and he will help us smooth things over with the Jun’s. We are his only blood relatives, he must help us whether he wants to or not."
"Mom, what about what Bingwen said about Mo Tian and Chenyu being arrested." Desperately afraid, Tang Yue grasped her mother’s hands. "Mom, will A Yang really go to prison? What will A Hao and I do?"
"Your brother is just trying to scare you because he is angry. Anyway, if Mo Liang does go to prison, you can just find another husband. You are a great doctor from the Tang family, a patriot, a woman with ties to high society. There are other men that want you so if you cannot rely on Mo Liang, find someone else." Her mother said.
"Mother, I have a child, people think I am a mistress and I have a baby in my womb. Even if I am to leave A Yang, my options are not great." Tang Yue sniffed.
As always, her mother had advice, "We will think about it when the time comes. For now, let us think about how to solve the problems we have at the moment. Crying will not get you anywhere. I think that you should be hospitalized, not only will it help with the lawsuits but it will arouse people’s pity."

Mei Mei was helping Mingzhu with homework in the living room. Math which was once a problem was now easier for Mingzhu and she was acing it like a pro.
"Thank God for gene altering serums." Mei Mei muttered.
Her daughter had become smarter, it was a miracle.
Madam Feng placed a small bowl of mixed fruits on the table and she join them on the carpet. She never understood why Mei Mei and Mingzhu always did homework while kneeling on the carpet.
What she did not understand even more was why there was no groaning or Mei Mei silently screaming during homework because Mingzhu had decided that one plus ten equaled to one hundred ten.
One time, she had even overheard Mei Mei saying that Mo Jingzhe had eaten all the brains of the Mo family and the rest had empty tins which her poor daughter inherited.
"Is everything okay?" She whispered tentatively.
Mei Mei rolled her eyes. Madam Feng always did this. She would bring a snack over and try to calm her and Mingzhu down when they were in the middle of an argument. There was no arguing now so why the whispers?
"Everything is okay." She confirmed.
Madam Feng picked up a small pineapple cube and placed it at Mei Mei’s mouth.
Mei Mei ate the pineapple and madam Feng fed Mingzhu as well. She took turns doing this until all the fruit bowl was empty and the homework was completed without trouble.
As soon as Mingzhu finished the work, she fell back on the carpet and stretched her arms, sighing loudly. "Mother, who invented homework?"
"I don’t know, why?" Mei Mei asked her.
Twisting her back on the carpet from side to side, Mingzhu replied, "Because this general would like to have a word with him or her."
