Chapter 65 - Couples Cosplay

The gaming convention was buzzing with excitement, and Kazuma and Masako were right in the middle of it. To promote their upcoming game, Morin Rock 2, they decided to do a couple cosplay of two of their iconic characters from the series.

Kazuma was dressed as Ryo, the stoic swordsman with a sleek black and red outfit, complete with a replica katana strapped to his back. His sharp, confident expression made him look like he had stepped directly out of the game.

Masako, on the other hand, cosplayed as Lila, the mysterious and alluring assassin. Her black and purple bodysuit hugged her curves perfectly, and the intricate details of her costume—including a flowing cape and matching daggers—made her impossible to miss. Her long brown hair was styled to match the character, and her golden eyes, naturally mesmerizing, fit the role perfectly.

As soon as they stepped into the convention, heads turned.

People immediately recognized them—not just as game developers but as Ryo and Lila.

"Wait, is that Kazuma and Masako?!" someone in the crowd shouted.

"Oh my god, their cosplays are amazing!"

"They actually look like the characters!"

Within minutes, fans began flocking to them, asking for photos, autographs, and even gameplay tips for the original Morin Rock.

Masako smiled as she posed for a photo, tilting her head slightly to match Lila's signature sultry look. "Make sure to tag us if you post this, okay?"

The fan nodded eagerly. "You guys are so cool! I can't wait for Morin Rock 2!"

Kazuma, standing beside her, laughed. "Thanks! We've worked hard on it—you won't be disappointed."

The compliments kept coming.

"Your outfits are so detailed! Did you make them yourselves?"

"The way you two look together is perfect—it's like the characters were made for you!"

Masako chuckled, nudging Kazuma. "Hear that, dear? We're perfect."

Kazuma smirked. "I already knew that, sweetie."

The day went smoothly as they continued to interact with fans, stopping occasionally to browse other booths and pick up some merchandise. Everywhere they went, people pointed them out, and the constant praise made Masako's cheeks flush with happiness.

But then, one interaction took an uncomfortable turn.

As Masako signed an autograph for a fan girl, the young woman leaned in a little too close, her gaze lingering on Masako's chest.

"You're so gorgeous in person," the fan girl said, her tone slightly too bold. "And wow, your outfit really shows off how... big and soft your boobs are."

Masako blinked, caught off guard, her golden eyes widening slightly. She forced a polite smile. "Uh, thank you, I guess?"

The fan girl giggled, reaching out as if to touch Masako's arm, but her hand hovered dangerously close to her chest.

Before Masako could react, Kazuma stepped in.

With a calm but firm expression, he gently placed a hand on Masako's shoulder and subtly moved her back. "Alright, that's enough," he said, his tone polite but leaving no room for argument. "We've got more fans to meet, so we'll be heading out now."

The fan girl looked startled but quickly backed off, muttering a quick apology.

Kazuma turned to Masako, his blue eyes softening as he leaned in close. "You okay, sweetie?"

Masako nodded, giving him a grateful smile. "Yeah. Thanks for stepping in, dear."

Kazuma smirked, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "No one gets to make you uncomfortable, especially not while I'm around."

Masako chuckled softly, wrapping an arm around his waist as they walked to a quieter section of the convention. "You're my hero, you know that?"

Kazuma grinned. "Always, sweetie."

The couple took a moment to catch their breath before diving back into the excitement of the event. They spent the rest of the day meeting fans, taking pictures, and soaking in the energy of the convention.

By the time they left, they were both tired but happy.

"That was fun," Masako said, leaning against Kazuma as they walked back to their car. "A bit overwhelming, but fun."

Kazuma nodded, holding her hand. "Yeah, it was a great way to connect with the fans. And, of course, you looked stunning the whole time."

Masako giggled, giving him a playful nudge. "Flatterer."

Kazuma smiled. "Just telling the truth."

As they drove home, Masako looked out the window, her heart full. Days like this reminded her not just of how much their fans loved them, but of how much she and Kazuma loved each other.

No matter what challenges or awkward moments they faced, they always came out stronger—together.
