Lust System: Harem In Two Different Timelines-Chapter 121: Hummer
Chapter 121: Hummer
"Big brother, don’t worry. Officer Sophia and sister Clarissa have been kind to me. I’ll protect them even if it costs me my life," Paul vowed in a deep voice.
Yasin took out a pistol and a walkie talkie from his pocket and handed them to Sophia.
"Take the walkie talkie and the gun. When I come back for you, I’ll contact you through the walkie talkie. Keep the gun safe too. This time, remember, this gun was given to you by me. No matter who asks for it, don’t hand it over!"
After arranging everything, everyone reluctantly gathered together. Yasin hugged each of them goodbye, then turned and rushed out through the side door, charging straight toward the garage.
Under Sophia’s lead, the others also rushed into the freight elevator.
...
The underground garage was dim and eerie, its vast enclosed space amplifying even the slightest sound.
Cars were strewn haphazardly across the garage.
It was clear that when the apocalypse broke out, many had tried to flee by car, but most had failed.
Yasin gripped his sword, moving slowly along the walls of the underground garage.
"Drip..."
"Drip..."
The sound of dripping water and the occasional clang of metal echoed through the empty garage, making the entire environment terrifyingly sinister.
Even Yasin couldn’t help but tense up, his body breaking out in cold sweat. This scene was straight out of a horror movie, as if a vengeful ghost were about to appear.
Given the earlier commotion, most of the zombies in the underground garage should have been lured away. But with such a large space, Yasin couldn’t be sure if any still remained.
So he had to be extremely careful.
To Sophia and the others, the deadly trap in the underground warehouse seemed like Yasin’s way of using the zombies to eliminate the threat posed by Blake and his group.
But Yasin’s real main goal was to draw as many zombies as possible from the garage into the warehouse.
Yasin had long considered escape routes from the mall. After careful deliberation, he concluded that the safest and most feasible way was to find a sturdy car in the underground garage and drive straight out through the exit.
Otherwise, there was no way to avoid the hordes of thousands of zombies surrounding the mall.
"GROWL!!!"
Suddenly, a deep roar erupted beside Yasin, startling him.
A bloody zombie frantically pounded against the grime covered car window, squeezing half its head through the gap in the glass, gnashing its teeth as it stared fixedly at Yasin.
Inside the car, the mutilated corpse of a child lay with its face unrecognizable, stomach torn open, and half its neck eaten away.
Yasin shook his head coldly and thrust his sword into the zombie’s gaping mouth.
Such horrific scenes were all too common in the apocalypse, and Yasin had grown numb to them.
There were many cars in the garage, but most were ordinary sedans—none of which Yasin wanted.
Moreover, the pathways were mostly blocked by haphazardly parked vehicles. To drive out, he’d have to clear them, which was clearly impractical.
After searching half the garage, Yasin still hadn’t found the heavy duty off road vehicle he was looking for.
"GROWL!~~~ GROWL GROWL!~~~"
"HEH... HEH HEH HEH~~~~"
"URGH!~~ URGH URGH!~~~"
The sounds of zombies drew Yasin’s attention. Following the noise around a corner, he spotted light ahead.
It was the parking lot exit. The exit was jammed with crashed cars, trapping dozens of zombies.
Next to the exit, a VIP passage caught Yasin’s eye.
He stepped forward and used a power saw to cut through the metal door. The moment it opened, his eyes lit up. A row of sports cars and heavy duty pickup trucks were parked in a clean, well maintained garage, each separated by glass panels. The polished floor gleamed like a mirror.
"This is..."
Yasin was stunned by the sight of the luxury vehicles. This was clearly a VIP parking area reserved for the wealthy!
And from this private passage, he could drive straight out of the mall’s underground garage unimpeded!
Excited, Yasin scanned the cars, and his gaze locked onto a modified Hummer H1. Its black reinforced body, massive tires, and thick crash bars made it look like an armored vehicle.
"Perfect!" Yasin hurried to the Hummer H1 and pulled the door handle lightly.
To his surprise, it wasn’t locked. The keys were still in the ignition.
Yasin got in, turned the key, and the engine roared to life with a deep, powerful growl.
The modified Hummer H1, like a steel fortress, rumbled slightly. It was Yasin’s first time driving such a high end vehicle, and he couldn’t help but feel exhilarated.
After familiarizing himself with the controls, Yasin gently pressed the gas pedal, and the Hummer slowly rolled out of its spot.
CLICK!
A row of spotlights on the Hummer’s roof blazed to life, flooding the dark garage with bright light.
"Let’s go!" Yasin adjusted the Hummer’s direction, then stomped on the accelerator, sending the vehicle charging up the exit ramp. Under the immense power, the thick treaded tires screeched and smoked as the Hummer barreled forward.
BOOM!
The reinforced Hummer smashed through the closed shutter door, sending zombies flying.
CRASH! novelbuddy.cσ๓
CRASH!
Protected by the heavy crash bars, the Hummer plowed through the cars blocking its path with reckless force.
"WHOO HOO!~~~" Yasin let out an excited yell as he saw zombies swarming toward him from all sides.
He floored the gas again, speeding off toward the direction of the estate villa.
The Hummer roared down the road like a steel torrent, plowing through everything in its path. Dense hordes of zombies frantically chased after the vehicle but were gradually left behind.
The enormous commotion Yasin caused immediately drew the attention of survivors hiding in various dark corners of the town.
Even the survivors on the distant pier picked up binoculars to watch the off-road vehicle.
A middle-aged man with blond hair and a robust build, carrying a shotgun on his back, gripped his binoculars tightly as he stared at Yasin’s off-road vehicle until it disappeared from view.
