Married For Now-Chapter 198: FLOOD OF MEMORIES

KIM HEEDO had just finished buying three boxes of cheesecake for Park Sohee: one was the store’s original flavor, the second was a New York Cheesecake, and the last one was a Japanese cheesecake.

He took the liberty to buy all the flavors available, even if his husband only wanted the original.

Sohee Hyung said he likes the original, but he might want to try the other flavors, too.

Heedo was in a good mood when he was about to leave the café, but he stopped dead in his tracks when he caught a whiff of Park Sohee’s pheromones.

Hyung...?

He immediately looked around and found the source of the wonderful scent that hit his nose.

And he was right.

The pheromones really belonged to Park Sohee— and Park Sohee himself was in the parking lot in front of the café.

What the hell?

Heedo saw Park Sohee push Ahn Yujae with an awful expression on his face.

His vision instantly turned red from anger.

That bastard probably did something bad for Park Sohee to react that way. Hence, he marched towards Ahn Yujae with angry strides.

"Yah! What do you think you’re doing to my husband?!"

Heedo dropped the boxes of cakes that he was holding before punching Ahn Yujae in the face.

He couldn’t stand seeing another Alpha next to Park Sohee.

"Heedo-ya!"

Heedo heard Park Sohee call him, so he paused for a moment.

But he didn’t like what his husband said next.

"What are you doing? Have you lost your mind?!" Park Sohee yelled while holding the bulge in his stomach. "Don’t attack Ahn Yujae out of nowhere!"

Heedo frowned, not liking how Park Sohee sounded concerned about Ahn Yujae.

Hence, he threw another punch at Ahn Yujae— all because he was pissed.

He knew that he was being unusually violent, but he couldn’t control himself. Unfortunately, he knew why he was acting that way.

It was because of his upcoming rut.

If an Alpha couldn’t get a release from sexual pleasure, they tend to get that ’high’ from violence.

And that was what was happening at the moment.

"Kim Heedo!"

Heedo, who was about to grab Ahn Yujae by the collar, stopped when he heard the pain in Park Sohee’s voice.

When he turned to his husband, he was shocked to see how pale his hyung was.

Worse, Park Sohee was breathing heavily while clutching his baby bump.

"Sohee Hyung..."

Heedo tried to walk towards Park Sohee, but he stopped when Park Sohee glared at him.

And then his husband suddenly stumbled.

He quickly ran to catch Park Sohee, but Ahn Yujae was faster since Ahn Yujae was standing closer to Park Sohee.

"Sohee-ya!"

Ahn Yujae quickly carried Park Sohee in his arms because Park Sohee had fainted by then.

Heedo clenched his hands, the noise in his head preventing him from moving an inch.

He hated it.

He hated that he was getting jealous when he should be worrying more about Park Sohee.

He was worried, and yet his jealousy was overwhelming at the moment.

Heedo hated that another Alpha was holding his unconscious Omega in his arms— and he hated how he couldn’t do anything right for Park Sohee.

All those thoughts gave him a migraine.

And, just like that, everything turned black.

WHEN SOHEE opened his eyes at the hospital, the first person who greeted him was his mother-in-law.

"Sohee-ya, how are you feeling?"

"I feel better now, Mother-in-law," Sohee said weakly, and then he quickly touched his baby bump. It was still there, but he was still too anxious to feel safe. "My babies..."

"Your babies are fine, dear," President Kang Nari assured him. "Fortunately, it’s just one of your fainting spells. It’s nothing serious."

Whew.

Only then did Sohee finally let out a relieved sigh.

I should really take better care of myself and my babies.

But, before that...

"Mother-in-law, how’s Ahn Yujae?" Sohee asked worriedly. "Heedo went on a rampage earlier..."

Yes, it was a rampage.

The pheromones that Kim Heedo released earlier were strange.

And he’s not that violent.

Yes, his husband was a jealous person.

But he’s not the type to get violent just because he’s jealous.

"Ahn Yujae was already treated properly," President Kang Nari explained. "I sent him home since I thought it would be the best thing to do to handle the situation."

And he agreed with his mother-in-law.

"Mother-in-law, I think there’s something wrong with Kim Heedo," Sohee said worriedly. "Let’s have Dr. Seong check on him. Kim Heedo’s pheromones smelled strange earlier."

"Seong Kyungmin has already checked on Heedo. Actually, he was the one who called to inform us that both you and my son fainted and were brought to the hospital."

"Kim Heedo also fainted?"

Sohee was so shocked that he tried to get up abruptly.

But his body felt so heavy and sluggish that he ended up lying down on the bed again.

"Sohee-ya, don’t force yourself to get up," President Kang Nari said. "Don’t worry about Heedo— he fainted due to pheromone overload. But, according to Seong Kyungmin, my son is out of danger."

"I still want to see him, Mother-in-law," Sohee said, a pang in his chest making it hard for him to breathe. It reminded him of the time he saw Kim Heedo almost dying after a gunshot. "I need to make sure that Heedo is really alright."

A SPLITTING headache.

As soon as Kim Heedo opened his eyes, he was greeted by that much pain in his head.

It was so painful that he wanted to crack his head open.

"Son, you’re awake?"

Oh.

It was his father.

"Appa, what happened?" Heedo asked, confused. "Why am I at the hospital?"

"You fainted due to pheromone overload."

Huh?

His father’s response only made him more confused.

Actually, after he asked his first question, his last pieces of memories started to flood his mind.

It was like watching a sped-up movie.

"Pheromone overload?" Heedo asked, clutching his chest tight. "Not gunshot wound? The last thing I remember was getting shot, Appa."

His father’s eyes widened in shock. "Heedo-ya, have you recovered your memories?"

"Huh? Did I lose my memories, Appa?"

Heedo was a bit startled when his usually calm father raised his voice.

But his father wasn’t angry.

"Thank goodness, son," his father said, patting Heedo’s shoulder. "You put Sohee through a lot while your memories were gone."

Heedo was about to ask what his father meant by that, but another wave of fragments of memories flooded his mind.

Those were memories of how he treated Park Sohee after he became amnesiac.

I should go on a skydiving adventure— minus the parachute...
