But his husband still chose to buy a matching suit with his from the same shop.

"Then let’s just agree that we both look extra good tonight," Kim Heedo said, extending his hand to him. "May I?"

"Why would I care whether you’re here or not?" Kim Heedo asked calmly. And, in fairness, Kim Heedo’s voice sounded more commanding than Choi Namgyu’s. "It’s funny to hear that from someone who can’t even stand my pheromones."

Sohee had to bite his lower lip to stop himself from laughing.

Kim Heedo could really be an asshole if he wants to.

No wonder Choi Namgyu’s face turned red from embarrassment.

He’s not going to make a scene here, is he?

"My son came home with a cut on his face," the old man said sternly while giving Kim Heedo a cold glare. "I hope you’re ready for the consequences of hurting my successor, child. The only reason we haven’t sued you yet is because I wanted to talk to your parents— I wanted to see what kind of people raised a violent rascal like you."

Sohee clenched his hands tight, annoyed that this old man was insulting Kim Heedo face-to-face.

And it was even more annoying to see the smug look on Choi Namgyu’s face.

However, he calmed himself with a single thought in his head.

We might be eating sweet potatoes right now, but we’ll have a taste of cider very soon.

"Sir, are you sure you want to meet my parents?" Kim Heedo asked the old man politely. "I’m giving you one last chance to make the right choice. I don’t want you to make a mistake just because of your son, sir."

Sohee smiled proudly.

However, the old man just scoffed at Kim Heedo’s benevolence.

The old man opened his mouth as if he was about to scold Kim Heedo, but he suddenly froze. And then his demeanor changed instantly as he greeted the couple who approached them.

"Is this young man your friend?"

"No, he’s not a friend," Kim Heedo responded to his mother politely, shaking his head. And then he glanced at Choi Namgyu while wrapping an arm around Sohee’s waist as he added: "That sunbae-nim was the one who caused trouble Sohee Hyung and I, Eomma."

Sohee had to bite his lower lip again to stop himself from laughing like a villain when Choi Namgyu and Choi Nam-il both paled on the spot.

But Kim Heedo wasn’t done yet.

"Ah, President Choi Nam-il also said he wanted to meet you, Eomma, Appa," Kim Heedo said "innocently." "He said he wanted to see what kind of people raised a "violent rascal" like me."

Vice President Kim Dohan and President Kim Nari’s cold gazes fell on Choi Nam-il.
