Chapter 6264: Traveling Toward Danger

The Huangfu Heavenly Clansmen turned their eyes to Jie Shanxian. She was Chu Feng’s comrade; they could salvage their reputation if they could at least capture her.

Boom!

A powerful surge of spirit power suddenly ravaged the surroundings. The Huangfu Heavenly Clansmen who had positioned themselves to encircle Jie Shanxian were swept away like tree leaves.

Jie Shanxian took this opportunity to rise into the sky and head southeast.

Chu Feng had sent her a location through voice transmission, but knowing that the Huangfu Heavenly Clan wouldn’t let her leave easily, she chose to escape in a different direction.

Much to her surprise, there was one person she couldn’t shake off—Huangfu Zhantian.

Huangfu Zhantian had unleashed his Lightning Mark to raise his cultivation level to rank two Heavenly God, but even a rank two Heavenly God level cultivator shouldn’t have been able to match Jie Shanxian’s speed.

Jie Shanxian realized that he was a tricky opponent.

“Hurry up and leave. Don’t come back. I’m begging you,” Huangfu Zhantian suddenly sent a pleading voice transmission to Jie Shanxian.

Jie Shanxian was baffled, especially when Huangfu Zhantian stopped pursuing her after sending the voice transmission.

“What is he up to?”

Jie Shanxian was perplexed. Maintaining her vigilance, she took out her compass to confirm that no one was in her vicinity before turning around to look for Chu Feng.

Wang Qiang was with Chu Feng; the latter had told him the meeting location. All three had disguised themselves, but they quickly confirmed one another’s identities.

“Chu Feng, do you know the Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s Huangfu Zhantian?” Jie Shanxian asked.

“Is Huangfu Zhantian the rank one Heavenly God level cultivator? I don’t know him,” Chu Feng replied.

“You don’t know him?” Jie Shanxian thought Huangfu Zhantian had stopped pursuing her because he knew Chu Feng, but if that wasn’t the case, she would have no idea what Huangfu Zhantian’s motive was.

Noticing her peculiar reaction, Chu Feng and Wang Qiang asked her what happened.

Jie Shanxian told them about the earlier situation, but neither Chu Feng nor Wang Qiang could make sense of Huangfu Zhantian’s peculiar action.

“Forget it, there’s no need to fuss over what he’s scheming. Chu Feng, I need to tell you something.” Jie Shanxian told Chu Feng about the Seven Realms Immortal Sect seeking her help.

“Elder, do you intend to go?” Chu Feng asked.

“I need you to come with me,” Jie Shanxian replied.

“You must be o-o-out of your mind! Brother Chu Feng has just r-r-revealed his identity! The Seven Realms Immortal Sect is bound to c-c-covet his Ruler’s Bloodline!” Wang Qiang stared at Jie Shanxian with widened eyes as if she was a fool.

“I would have killed you for speaking to me like that if it weren’t for Chu Feng.” Jie Shanxian glared coldly at Wang Qiang.

But Wang Qiang was undeterred. He sneered, “I would have r-r-reduced you to ashes if it weren’t for my Brother Chu Feng, old granny!”

Chu Feng hurriedly dragged Wang Qiang behind him. He had a feeling that even if Jie Shanxian could tolerate the threat, it was unlikely she would take being called an old granny well. That was a sore spot for older women.

As expected, Jie Shanxian glared at Wang Qiang with grudging eyes. She was tempted to rip his mouth apart, but she held back and instead turned to Chu Feng and said, “Chu Feng, I want you to come with me because I need your bloodline. I’ll ensure your safety.”

“Don’t go, b-b-brother! Didn’t you say she’s from the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion? She’s u-u-unreliable? Who knows? She might be in c-c-cahoot with the Seven Realms Immortal Sect! Even their names sound similar!” Wang Qiang warned Chu Feng via voice transmission.

“Brother, you should return to the Divine Body Heavenly Mansion first,” Chu Feng told Wang Qiang via voice transmission.

“Brother, do you r-r-really intend to go?” Wang Qiang was taken aback.

“Rest assured, Chu Feng. I, Jie Shanxian, will guarantee your safe departure if they dare make a move against you,” Jie Shanxian told Chu Feng via voice transmission.

“Elder, I’ll go with you,” Chu Feng told Jie Shanxian.

At the same time, he secretly told Wang Qiang his reason for going.

He had come here to repay Jie Shanxian’s favor for saving him at the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion, and he was aware of the risks when he accepted the request then. It wouldn’t make sense for him to back out now.

He thought that Jie Shanxian was trustworthy, and she had promised to keep him safe. Furthermore, he wanted to get on good terms with Jie Shanxian for his mother. Someone of Jie Shanxian’s stature must know about the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s secrets.

“F-f-fine! We’ll brave danger together. I-I-I’m going too!” Wang Qiang declared.

Chu Feng didn’t think he could dissuade Wang Qiang, so he turned to Jie Shanxian.

“He can go too if he wants to, but tell him to watch his mouth. I won’t hold back the next time,” Jie Shanxian snorted.

Wang Qiang shamelessly grinned. “Elder, I don’t have a g-g-good head, so I sometimes say things without thinking. Please be m-m-magnanimous and don’t hold a grudge against me.”

Jie Shanxian was rendered speechless.

She brought Chu Feng and Wang Qiang toward the Seven Realms Immortal Sect.

“Chu Feng, does the power you obtained from the Immemorial Bloodline Tower help you advance your cultivation?” Jie Shanxian asked.

“I don’t know yet. I’ll have to refine it with my bloodline power first,” Chu Feng replied.

“That’s more troublesome than I thought. Take this. It should be helpful to you.”

Jie Shanxian passed Chu Feng a pill infused with seven-colored lightning. This pill would aid Chu Feng in the recovery of his bloodline power.

“Thank you, elder. You treat me pretty well,” Chu Feng replied with a grin.

He swallowed the pill right away. Despite having exploited the Huangfu Heavenly Clan in the Immemorial Bloodline Tower, he still depleted some of his bloodline power. Refining the power he had absorbed required a fair bit of his bloodline power, so Jie Shanxian’s pill was a godsend.

“You don’t need to thank me. You have treated me pretty well too.” Jie Shanxian looked at Chu Feng with commending eyes.

To visit the Seven Realms Immortal Sect after having his identity exposed was as good as climbing a treacherous mountain despite knowing a dangerous tiger dwelled there. Not everyone dared to do something like that.
