Trixie continued to stare away as the strange sounds continued. In the end she had to cover her ears as she imagined that the picture in her head might have been worse than what was actually taking place.

'All these Altered…they're the same…but they didn't go after the other Altered hunters, only those that were like them.'

Eventually she pulled her hands away from her ears. When she turned around she could see something being thrown and sinking in the river. The mess cleared from their face with whatever uniform was left on the two's bodies.

"Can you…take me with you?" Trixie asked.

"What?" Kai replied, surprised by what had just been asked.

"It's just that, this area is already cleared, with the order that has been given. All of the Altered hunters will now be moving to the other Garden." She said. "There's no reason for me to stay here."

"Did you listen to our conversation before?" Midwak said, the vein twitching on his forehead. "We're not going to the other Garden, and look at you, you won't be able to do much in the first place.

"We don't have time to argue." Kai said as he transformed into his wolf form. "Get on."

Seeing the large wolf, and it asking her to get on its back, she felt like she was in some type of fantasy novel, but she understood after seeing Kai fight, that she would only slow them down.

"Ah I see, she's emergency food just in case we need it, right? Good thinking." Midwak said with a smile as he practically transformed his body.

The three of them were quick, as they moved climbing up what they could see was the tallest tree. Right after Midwak slashed his hand smashing through part of the roof glass in the garden.

They leapt on the outside of the glass and started to run down it, towards the direction they needed to go. In order to travel quicker with no trouble, they tried to stay on top of building rooftops as much as possible.

While traveling, Midwak had suddenly stopped and so did Kai and the others.

"Are we here?" Trixie asked. She had been closing her eyes so the wind didn't get in them and was holding on tight to Kai's fur. When she opened them she noticed that she was still on the roof and nowhere near the other Gardens.

"You can smell that, right?" Midwak said.

"Yeah, I can."

Since Kai and Midwak could smell it, they were sure whoever they could smell could smell them as well. They stayed there for a moment, until Trixie could see a person leaping up through the air.

She could only see the outline of their body up against the moonlight. A person who was carrying a large crate on their back. The person came closer and closer eventually landing right in front of the other two.

"Kai…and…and Midwak?"

The two hadn't flinched away, but as they turned back to look at the person, Trixie had a clearer view of who was in front of them, but it was hard for her to believe.

"Is that, Gary Dem!" Trixie asked.

"Ah, the Altered hunter as well that was with Saiber," Gary said. "Right, I'm one of the rookies, I was just disguised, not that it matters too much. Kai, you're here, your group didn't get attacked, and Midwak is here."

Gary shuffled over to where Kai was and then leaned in to whisper.

"Didn't you think he might have betrayed us?"

"That's quite the story, but I think it might be a good thing that I met you here," Gary said. "Where are you heading to now, with the crate, is that the special delivery?"

Gary nodded. "I'm heading to the Garden where Austin is, apparently Edvard will be heading there as well. I don't know if you know but Lupus is there. If I can deliver the armor in time, and I'm there maybe…we can do something."

That was when Gary started to think though. Where was Kim, and why were Kai and Midwak heading the other way? If they were with the Altered hunter, they should have gotten the same message.

"There's a bit of an issue. We got the message as well, but it's Blake and Innu, they're in trouble."

Kai explained the short version of it. As to who had taken them and where they were right now. That the two of them were going to free Innu and Blake.

This was causing a great difficult problem for them as there was a chance that both of their groups are in trouble.

"Gary…Kim betrayed me." Kai said. "She tried to kill me, using the Altered hunters. I dealt with her already, but if Kim is like this, I'm not so sure we can trust the vampires. I'm not even sure that the package can help that much in this fight."

Hearing those words, Gary had the same feeling from the beginning, but he still didn't want to abandon Austin, nor abandon Innu and Blake.

"I know what you're thinking, it's a good thing we met up, I have a solution." Kai said. "We'll take the crate, and we'll deliver it to Edvard. I'm faster than you, so we'll get there quicker.

"As soon as the item is delivered. We'll get out of there with Austin. This isn't our fight just yet. This has changed, we'll deliver and leave this city.

"So at the same time, you head to where Ylva is. Take Midwak with you, he can direct you and tell you where to go. Save Innu and Blake, and get out of this city.

"No one from, or related to the Howlers are dying today!"
