One Piece: I'm Destined to Be the Son-in-Law King!-Chapter 162: Jinbe VS Roya

They stood in an empty, wild place.

Jinbe, a large, imposing figure, stood with his feet wide apart, ready for battle. He held his fist at his waist, prepared to unleash the unique fighting style of the Fish-Man: Fish-Man Karate.

"Fish-Man Karate, huh?" Roya said, watching with interest.

This fighting style was special to the Fish-Man race. Its strength came from the power of water that was woven into each move. Humans could learn it, but it wasn't as effective for them. They were better off sticking to other fighting methods.

"Let's see what you've got," Roya said, as he started walking towards Jinbe.

Is he just going to charge right in? Jinbe thought, a shadow crossing his face.

Jinbe preferred to fight strategically, defending first and then striking back. He hadn't expected Roya, known as Black Hair, to just rush at him head-on.

He must be very confident!

Jinbe knew that Black Hair was strong. It was much harder for a Marine to become famous than a pirate. Yet, Black Hair had already defeated criminals with huge bounties on their heads, even when he was just a Colonel.

Black Hair's true strength was much higher than his rank suggested.

I'll give it everything I've got! Jinbe decided.

As Black Hair came within striking distance, Jinbe's eyes narrowed. "Fish-Man Karate: Tangwa Grass Punch!" he shouted, throwing a powerful punch.

But the punch landed in empty air!

Roya had stopped moving. He couldn't see Jinbe's attack, but he could feel the air shaking from the force of the punch.

An invisible wave of energy rushed toward him! It seemed to cover every direction except the sky.

"Clang!"

Roya quickly pulled out his sword, Rain Cutter, and held it up in front of him. He didn't try to dodge or move away.

The next moment, the hand holding the sword dropped suddenly. The force of the impact was so great that Roya was pushed backward, his feet digging two long grooves in the ground that stretched for over ten meters.

He had managed to block it!

"So heavy," Roya said.

Unlike other cutting attacks, Jinbe's punch sent out a wave of force that felt like a heavy, blunt strike. It seemed to draw in the moisture from the air, giving it incredible power to penetrate.

Roya looked down. There were several cracks in the clothes around his waist. If he had been hit directly, he would have been seriously injured.

Fish-Man Karate is definitely a powerful fighting style, he thought.

"Shave!" Roya shouted.

He moved his feet rapidly, disappearing in an instant. He reappeared high in the air, dozens of meters away, and swung his right leg in a wide arc.

But this was the first time he had been cut by Storm Leg.

No matter what the fighting technique, its power depended on the user. The stronger the user, the greater the power of the move!

Jinbe looked up at Black Hair. Water droplets started to form in his hand. Without being in the water, he didn't have many ways to attack someone in the air.

"Water Shot!"

"Things are going to get bad at this rate!" Vice Captain Aladdin said, staring at the two fighters. His face was grim. "If he can't even gain an advantage in strength, Jinbe is likely to lose."

Black Hair was skilled in the Six Styles, and his speed and agility were far superior to Jinbe's.

If Black Hair was smart, he would use long-range attacks, and Jinbe wouldn't be able to do anything but take the hits.

Not only that, but based on the current fight, Black Hair's Haki was just as strong as Jinbe's, and he was also incredibly powerful.

Strength, speed, technique, Haki... He has no weaknesses. He's almost the perfect warrior!

To defeat someone like that, you would have to completely overwhelm them in one area. Otherwise, winning would be impossible.

All his power and Haki gathered in his clenched right fist, burning fiercely like a raging demon.

The two strode toward each other. When they were ten meters apart, they jumped into the air at the same time, roaring as they threw their fists.

"Fish-Man Karate: Mystery: Armed Thunderbolt!"

"Six Styles Mystery: Demon King Pistol!"

Their fists collided in a cataclysmic explosion!
