POSSESSION: The Hidden Omega In All Alphas' Academy [BL]-Chapter 208: You Can Fall In My Arms

Holding onto that resolution, Zenith marched a few steps closer and tapped Barnes on his shoulder, before cryptically rolling his onyx eyes at him, "If you truly don’t consider Aiden anything else apart from your family, then how will you feel if Aiden finds someone else who becomes way more important to him than you ever would be? How would it feel to watch him getting stolen away by someone else when you didn’t get your chance yet?"

His low but intense mumble startled Barnes a bit, but he could evidently sense the depth behind his words. He was taken aback, but before his could bring himself to speak a word in defense, Zenith muttered with another pat, "You should have a clearer vision of your feelings, Mr. Barnes. Instead of living the rest of your life in regret, figure out your emotions first."

’My feelings? Do I...really consider Master Aiden someone more precious to me than a family?’ Taken aback by his inquisitive observation, Mr. Barnes pondered deeply in his mind while Zenith proceeded to walk away from there.

But before he could take a step ahead, Barnes hurriedly turned around, deliberately pleading him from behind, "Y-Young master, I...I will surely reflect on your words to find the answer myself. But...I hope, you won’t disclose anything about it to Master Aiden—"

"Don’t worry, Mr. Barnes. I am willing to support you, but...I do have my fair share of conditions." A dense expression grew on Zenith’s face as he fixated his gaze on him, "I will be leaving for Agastya Mansion today, and will do my best to return as early as possible. But until I come back, make sure not a single strand of my Kyle’s hair hasn’t been touched by any students, especially any other Alpha. You must protect him and keep a keen watch over him as well. He might act stubbornly and ask you to go away, but make sure to follow my orders strictly, Mr. Barnes.

In return, I will deal with Mr. Clark for you and will make sure he won’t reinstate you anywhere else from the campus. Consider it as my way of supporting you in this endeavor, so make sure you figure out your emotions first, Mr. Barnes. How does the deal sound to you?"

While he proclaimed, Zenith had a determined look shimmering in those dark eyes which gave Barnes a sheer amount of hope to pursue the difficult mission he had been assigned with. With a gulp, he nodded and bowed his head before Zenith before conveying it to him.

"Rest assured, Young master. In your absence here, I will make sure to protect Kylian with my all might. He won’t face any difficulty, so you can leave peacefully."

"Fine, then that’s the deal." When Zenith stretched his hand for a formal handshake, Barnes obediently accepted his greeting with a confident glimmer on his face, as if he felt hopeful about Zenith keeping his promise to him.

But while shaking his hand, a sudden inquisitive thought grew inside Barnes’s mind, making him ponder, ’I have noticed quite a few times that Alphas tend to be extra protective of their pairs, but mostly, that’s supposed to be the case when his partner is an omega.

’From what I have seen, Kylian is a strong, dominant Alpha just like him, so why does Young Master always seem to be so protective and anxious for him? I don’t think that’s even necessary...but how do I explain these things when I had sneaked a glimpse of heat suppressants in Kylian’s room? Was I purely mistaken? Yes...I must be mistaken...there is no use in my overthinking at all...’

"Also, I have another command for you." While Barnes briefly fell silent, contemplating his own thoughts, Zenith urged him in a stiff tone that jolted his senses back. He saw his facial expression had turned dark from angst when Zenith grunted, "Make sure to keep a better watch-out on Kyle from the boys of my gang. I intend to leave the gang as soon as I come back, but till then, you must not lower your guard whenever Kyle is around them. Did you get it?"

"Yes, young master." Startled by his decision to leave the bully gang which had been terrorizing all the students of the Academy all this time, Barnes couldn’t help but feel amazed by Kylian’s positivity, which embarked such a great transition on Zenith’s life.

After he was done, Zenith heftily walked towards the building where Kylian’s room was allotted, but after going a few steps ahead, he turned around and tossed an alluring smile at Barnes, "I will cheer for you, Mr. Barnes. Don’t let me down, okay?"

"Ahh, my ears are ringing. Is somebody talking about me behind my back?" Murmuring on his own, Kylian was walking towards the hallway leading to his room, while scratching his left ear. His face was rather solemn, and exhaling a big sigh, he continued talking to himself, "I wonder...what did Mr. Barnes had to talk to Zenith in private? I know he’s appointed here to look after him, but...his face looked quite serious to me.

"Did something bad happen when we were away? I can’t help but be curious...what if Zenith’s getting scolded now? Damn...I shouldn’t have left them alone, now I am dying to learn what they must be talking about... And...EEKK!"

While he was distracted mumbling to himself, Kylian mistakenly tripped his feet on the hallway and stumbled his balance, as he was about to fall his face on the ground. But before he could muster his balance, suddenly a broad grasp of muscular arm held him by his waist, pulling him backward as a sturdy support.

"If you keep losing your balance like this...then from now onwards, do I need to follow you everywhere so that you can fall into my arms like this?"

Aiden’s deep-pitched low mumble flinched Kylian hard when he realized he was being tightly hugged by Aiden from behind, with his grasp getting strong around his waist.
