POSSESSION: The Hidden Omega In All Alphas' Academy [BL]-Chapter 57: Little Possession
Chapter 57: Chapter 57: Little Possession
The young beta nurse didn’t even get to finish her whole sentence before Zenith frantically rushed out of the room, to head towards the doctor’s chamber. Stunned by her report as well as Zenith’s reaction, Dr. Albert didn’t wait a second and scram after Zenith to his room, while bearing a panicked look on his dull face.
Reaching there, Zenith barged inside his chamber by slamming the door open, with a vein popping on the side of his forehead. Zenith’s handsome face was now darkened in apprehension, along with crowded sweat drops on his forehead.
Just like that nurse had stated, there wasn’t a single trace of Kylian inside the room. All of them quickly noticed that Kylian also didn’t touch the prescription nor the spare file containing his trait reports that Dr. Albert had left for him on the table. He seemed to have left the room as if he was never brought here in the first place.
But there was still a faint scent of him lingering in the air inside the room, reminding Zenith of the fragrance of fresh peonies. Since the first day he found Kylian, Zenith had always been able to trace his unique sweet scent, even if Kylian was far from him.
But now just with a small whiff of his pheromones, it gave Zenith the important hint that it hadn’t been long since Kylian had left the room.
The giant glass window next to the check-up bed was wide open with two big white silk curtains wafting along with the mild breeze entering the room. When Zenith averted his gaze outside the window, the sight of that nearby less crowded beach with glistening blue sea waves drifting to the shore grabbed his attention, making him stare at the scenery blankly.
Zenith walked close to the giant window while following that scenery, however, Dr. Albert’s panicked voice resonated loudly inside the room when he asked the nurse, "Have you checked the CCTV footage? It must have been caught there through which direction Kylian headed outside."
"Yes, I did check it, Sir." Her voice was trembling from nervousness when she conveyed, "But strangely that patient never walked out of this room door in the first place. I have checked all the footage since you began his tests, but it seems that he just disappeared from inside this room."
"How could you come up with such a crazy theory?" Frowning his wrinkled forehead, Dr. Albert coldly scolded the nurse in a low voice. Countless worrying thoughts were roaming inside his head, especially about Kylian’s unstable body state when he hadn’t even finished administering all the medicines.
But what worried him the most was how Zenith would resort to handling the situation since everyone around him was well aware of his fiery temperament which would always create a worse ruckus.
"Order all the guards to go and look for the boy everywhere near the hospital. He mustn’t have gone very far, so we should be able to bring him back." Brushing his fingers to push his hair above his forehead, Dr. Albert commanded her in a frustrated tone.
But that nurse contemplated for a few seconds before leaving the room, as she urged in a curious tone, "Umm, Sir...what would we do if that boy has run away? We do not even have his contact details or anything—"
"THWACK!"
"Eeekk!" But before the girl could finish her murmur, the resonance from a loud punch on the wall before they cowered her in fear, as she let out a fretful scream. Turning both their gazes in the direction from where that absurd sound just came, they winced to see it was Zenith who had smashed a big hole in the wall with his turbulent punch! He seemed to be irked by her words, but his cold onyx eyes didn’t waver from the direction of the seashore.
However, watching him express his fury in this way, the doctor quickly signaled the female nurse to get away from the room, before he turned around to console his raging temperament, "Zenith, why would you always keep scaring everyone away from you? You could’ve simply asked her to leave, rather than throwing a punch—"
"He wasn’t scared of me."
Before Dr. Albert was yet to finish his scolding, Zenith’s cold, and grim answer flinched him hard. His pitch-black eyes were intensely gawking at the sea, but a glum look was prominent in them. Instead of his usual arrogant smug, his face now surfaced with fear when he elaborated his words to him.
"Like everyone else, Kylian was never scared of me. No matter how hard I tried to make him submit to me, even if it meant scaring the hell out of him, that boy never left my side showing any trace of fear. Instead, he faced me head-on, and maybe that’s the thing about him that caught my attention first."
While Zenith was speaking about Kylian, Dr. Albert didn’t fail to see a small curve of a smile had appeared on his lips. Though he stood silent for a moment, Zenith eventually turned his gaze back on him from the seashore as he proclaimed, "Just that nurse said before, do you also think he has run away, Dr. Albert?"
"Umm, well..." Scratching the back of his head, the doctor fidgeted a little before giving him the honest response, "I did my part by giving him the reality check about the life of omegas in this world. So...maybe if he had given it some more thought, he might have decided to leave simply everything behind. Well, I don’t exactly know what to do at this point apart from looking for him either—"
"Even if he has decided to leave...I won’t let him go."
"Yeah, I was also thinking...huh?" Dr. Albert stuttered a little from hearing Zenith’s sudden claim, but when he met his pitch-black eyes, there was a dark obsessive gaze embedded inside them which made him a bit fretful, "Zenith, what are you talking about?"
"Kylian can’t leave my side, at least not until I decide to let him go." Zenith slowly retreated backward towards the window, with a diabolical smug that curved his jaws this time, "Earlier you had asked me if I could protect him, right? Fine, from now on, he will be my little possession.
"So now, I will resort to my own ways to keep him by my side...no matter what it takes!"
Saying his bold declamation, Zenith jumped out of the glass window, and the room was on the 8th floor of the building!
"NO!! ZENITH!! YOU CAN’T JUMP OUT OF HERE! IT’S DANGEROUS! UGH...THESE DARN STUBBORN BRATS ARE DRIVING ME INSANE!"
But Dr. Albert was too late to stop him, despite screaming aloud at him.
