Primordial God Of Time-Chapter 50: Stepping Into The Time Core Is Truly Difficult!
Chapter 50: Stepping Into The Time Core Is Truly Difficult!
"Damn!" Kranos cursed under his breath. He had nearly stepped into the Time Core Realm but he didn’t expect his mistake to almost cost him his life. Fortunately, he halted the process just in time, any further misstep would have probably caused irreparable damage.
Kranos didn’t feel too disappointed because of such minor setback. He immediately retrieved a healing pill from his spatial ring and consumed it to begin repairing his damaged hand and meridians.
Simultaneously, he absorbed mana, channeling it to aid the recovery. Luckily, the injuries weren’t too severe—it would take only about a week for full recovery.
In the blink of an eye, a week passed. Kranos’s hand had significantly healed; at least it no longer caused him pain or discomfort.
Without hesitation, he sat down and resumed his attempt to comprehend the essence of time. After two days of deep meditation, he gradually entered that mysterious state once more.
Suddenly, his hand flashed like lightning, grasping something ethereal. He struck his chest, and in the next moment, the strand of the essence of time withered Kranos hand once again and entered his meridians slowly trying to corrode it.
But this time, Kranos was prepared. As soon as the strand entered his meridians, he activated his time core in his mental space and began to revolve it, slowly making it attract the strand of the essence of time.
During his recovery, he had spent time pondering how to guide the essence without damaging his meridians. After hours of reflection information slowly revealed itself to him, Kranos realised then that it was the time core manual at work.
He had grasped another portion of the Time Core Manual. As the Time Core continued revolving Kranos faintly felt that the strand of the essence of time seemed to encounter a family member... like a fish swimming in a lake it hastily darted through his meridians, eager to reach the core
Kranos gritted his teeth through out the process, while the strand of time essence swam through his meridians he could feel as though his meridians were about to burst apart, fortunately it didn’t.
Rather his meridians seemed to have become stronger due to the tempering. Unfortunately, his meridians were in chaos.
Although the strand of time essence seemed to have only destroyed his meridians slightly Kranos realised that while it had only partially damaged the pathways, Kranos noticed something peculiar—some parts of his meridians appeared aged and worn, while others looked newly formed and vibrant.
Fortunately at this moment the strand of time essence had finally reached his time core which had surfaced into his stomach from his mental space and began engraving itself into it, carving a distinct pattern on the suface. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
The process lasted several hours and when it was over, Kranos’s eyes shot open, and a smile slowly formed on his face. He could now feel his comprehension of time had deepened.
Still, the damage to his body was substantial. Clenching his teeth, he consumed another healing pill, estimating it would take two weeks to fully recover. Meanwhile, he decided to explore the benefits of his breakthrough.
Pause!
Kranos muttered in his heart trying to see how long he could now pause time, after a while he was shocked, he could now pause time for five seconds!
Kranos was stunned, pausing time for two seconds was somethings else entirely, he immediately checked the other time related abilities. He could also execute them within the same time frame.
Kranos sighed in amazement. This should be the advanced stage right? Kranos could faintly guess that all his time related abilities were now firmly in the advanced stage.
He immediately suppressed his excitement, he could still recall that strike at the Monarch Realm that had seemingly engraved into his mind, even with all his time related abilities kranos could feel that it wouldn’t affect that strike at all—and he wasn’t ready to test that out.
Suddenly, vague words surfaced in his mind, and this time he could comprehend them. It seemed there was an alternate method for breaking through—by directly engraving time points into the Time core.
Unfortunately, the side effects were just as severe. One would still need to spend time comprehending the engravings and synchronizing them with the Time Core and it could also lead to severe side effects if used to a large extent.
Kranos inhaled deeply. Initially, he had considered this shortcut a smart option, but now it appeared his cautious approach had been wiser. He absorbed more of the information and towards the end, Kranos understood something, it seems i can engrave countless Time Points into my dantian in a moment of crises and forcefully step into the peak of the Time Core Realm.
Kranos realised but he was unwilling to do something like that, not only would it leave long lasting side effects in his body, the particular negative effect wasn’t described, what if it was his ability to use time that was deprived as a result of this?
He couldn’t take the risk, Kranos hated the unknown a lot, he inwardly warned himself to not be complacent or arrogant, rather he needed to keep a low profile even more!
With this thought Kranos closed his eyes and continued healing himself. In the following time he had left before teaching those cultivators he had to try to engrave one or two more strands of time essence into his dantian. It could also help strengthen his meridians helping him absorb more mana.
As Kranos thoughts faded... In the blink of an eye more than a month had passed, now Kranos had roughly eight months before leaving this world.
For the next six months he would teach the five cultivators, because within the last two months he had something dangerous to do, a guess he had to confirm.
At this moment, Kranos stood up. His body felt stiff from maintaining the same position for so long. He stretched and walked outside. He could feel a large amount of strength pulse through him... He immediately knew he was stronger than ever before.
He made his way toward the City Lord’s mansion to meet Ju Ming, where they would finalize the arrangements for the cultivators he planned to train.
