Re:Ant Lord-Chapter 128: Bound Hearts
Chapter 128: 128: Bound Hearts
---
Kai stepped forward slowly, every inch of his body radiating confidence and power, but his voice... It was the same. Warm, low, and wrapped in calm certainty.
"It’s me, Luna." Kai steps in the moonlight.
Her eyes scanned him, from head to toe. His armor-wrapped figure with crimson irises and silver hair, down to the black tendrils that traced his shoulders. Her breath caught. "No... you’re not. You can’t be Kai. Who are you?"
"It’s me," he repeated, softer now.
Luna’s face contorted. Her eyes filled with suspicion, confusion, and growing anger. "No... this is one of Roddick’s illusions. Another game, another mockery. You even stole his voice, damn you bastard!"
She tugged at her restraints, ears rigid. "You really think I’d fall for this? Huh? No matter what skin you wear, Roddick, I will never love you, never sleep with you, never bend to you! So stop it!"
Kai didn’t reply.
He walked up to her slowly, gaze steady, breathing measured. When he stood close enough, Luna turned her head away, still struggling, growling, "Don’t you dare to touch me... otherwise I will commit suicide by destroying my star core."
But Kai leaned in without a word and pressed his lips to hers. He grabbed her ass tightly. Her chest pressed onto Kai’s body. Her big melons were pressing on Kai’s body.
It was a soft kiss, but forceful. Luna’s body did not show hesitation either because of Lustre’s mark. She felt wet in her rabbit hole. A new sensation ran through her body. Maybe a few drops of liquid came out of her rabbit hole, who knows. The Feeling lasted only a few seconds.
The warmth of his breath. The familiar press on her ass. The subtle taste, tinged with desert wind mixed with star milk and bloody smell.
Luna froze. Her eyes flared wide.
When he pulled back, Kai looked down into her shocked expression. His smirk tugged at one side of his mouth. "Now do you believe me?"
She gasped. "T-that kiss... that ass grabbing."
"Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten?" Kai said, tilting his head slightly. "You bit my lips beside that moonlit lake. That was your first act of love... and first act of violence." His lips curved. "You always hit hard. You can’t imagine how much I missed you."
Her mind stuttered, thoughts looping and crumbling. Her cheeks bloomed red despite the chains.
"B-but... how?" Her voice softened. "You... you were just a two-star! It hasn’t been that long since I met you." She squinted closer, breath catching in her chest. "Your face, your eyes, your aura is different, like you’re not even... an ant anymore. You are giving the aura of a powerful beast. What happened to you?"
Kai lifted a brow. "I evolved."
"You evolved so quickly, wait... you’re a three-star already? So fast?" She blinked again, like waking from a dream. "How are you so handsome now?! You didn’t look like this before! You are making me wet. I also miss you every night since the moonlight lake. I want you more than you know."
"I ate my way up the ranks. You’d be surprised how many monsters taste like opportunity," he said dryly. Ignored her wet comment. Now’s not the time for sweet talk.
Luna’s mouth opened and closed, unsure if she should scream or cry or laugh. Then her ears drooped and her expression shifted. "I didn’t imagine you’d come. After what happened, I thought you’d... I thought... I would die without seeing you."
"You are mine, why wouldn’t I come?" Kai admitted.
She stared at him again with a blushing face, a little longer this time. Her shoulders sagged, the chains above her creaked. The fight drained from her limbs.
She whispered, "Please... cut me loose. How long will you stare at my chest?"
Kai didn’t say anything for a moment. He just looked at her. He wanted to eat her, he wanted to tear her clothes and make love to her. Chained up, Luna was looking so beautiful.
Then, with a soft breath, he reached for his spear, raised the obsidian edge, and moved to slice through her bindings.
He sliced chains with spear edges. She sagged; he caught her. Tears welled. "I thought... you will look at me more," she murmured. "We must leave soon. Roddick already beat you once. We can’t give him another chance."
"Don’t worry. I came to collect interest on that debt." Kai replied.
She laughed weakly. "Acting like a hero."
Footsteps echoed in the corridor. Time is thin. Although Kai wanted to fight Roddick. But Luna’s safety is more important.
Kai handed the tracker stone to Luna. "Keep hold." He hoisted her bridal-style, slipped into shadows, Reflex Mode again to sprint corridors. Aura 2 900→2 700.
In the courtyard an alarm bell rang, the guards he knocked must’ve awakened.
Captain, a three-star stepped in path, halberd glowing. Kai kicked the gate beam, sent shard spray. The captain flinched, Blueloom dive-bombed, Kai leapt, heel strike crushed sternum. EXP +30.
Walls ahead now ablaze with torchlight, archers were ready. Kai activated Antenna Sensory Boost to weave arrow lanes. One shaft grazed but Adaptive Armor dispersed.
At the inner gate bridge Roddick waited, towering wolf-man four-star, greaves carved with wolf totems. He roared, "Give me back my bride!"
Kai set Luna down behind a pillar. "Stay here. If he wants a beating, then I must deliver it."
Roddick charged with dual war-axes. Kai rolled, axes carved ice. He counter-thrust left ankle tendon snapped. Roddick howled, swung upward, Kai blocked with his spear shaft but felt a bone quake.
"I Roddick owns her! I have given my dowry to her Clan." Roddick snarled.
Kai’s eyes glowed. "She is no one’s property." He invoked Devourer’s Bite, clamped jaw on Roddick’s forearm. Aura siphoned the wolf shrieking. He dropped the axe on the ground.
Essence Eater on stronger living prey triggered, -400 aura, but Roddick’s strength drained 20%. Kai head-butted and the wolf collapsed. Not dead, but a broken nose.
He considered killing but time was too short. Many guards were approaching them. He retrieved Luna, dashed to the wall where Blueloom severed rope-winch, bridge lowered to gorge slope. They slid, met Galehorn. The beast was called by soul link.
Dawn lit the horizon as they cleared the treeline. Fortress horns distant.
Kai mounted Luna behind. Her arms are tight around his waist. Almost touching his ant rod. "Thank you," she whispered.
"Always. But we’re not safe. We need to get to my lair. There is food, friends, and an egg." He explained the route. He can mark and create subordinates, following the hatchling of his daughter. Tells her that she needs to be a good mother.
Luna listened with wide eyes, then giggled: "I suppose parenting beats forced marriage."
They rode for a few hours to the base of Veil-Fall.
Kai’s Subordinates greeted him with thunderous roars. Luna gaped at the colossal cavern sky window, star-milk pools, and a hybrid panther ants.
Shadeclaw bowed, Blueloom perched stalactite. Luna knelt by egg, eyes shining. "So this is your daughter, the egg looks Beautiful."
Kai replied, "Of course, she is daughter after all. She will hatch soon." Kai pour some star milk while talking.
