The previous evening had been wild.

My Charles Schwab account was one with which I could buy and sell stock at any time. There were initial plans for when stocks there should be cashed out on, but given their tendency to be volatile, I was ready to take my profits at any sign of danger.
The other which I had just made today was for long-term trade.
GryphonTech, MIND and Gygro.
GryphonTech was an already established chip company that had a hand in the production of processors which powered computers right since the 90.
They should have been a top-growing company with share prices far out of my reach, but the bubble rush had caused some of their shareholders to cash out on their money to pursue seemingly greener pastures.
I had thought I would have a chance to buy several millions of shares and perhaps even my way into the company, but it seems there were still some smart folks and I had found myself having to scrape the bottom of the barrel.
Two hundred thousand shares were all I could get from the company, and it honestly left a bitter taste in my mouth.
MIND was a stock from a military company and I had initially had no plans for getting into this sector but my encounter with Kyle Benedict had changed that.

I couldn't remember the specific, but I knew that in 2004, MIND would take a huge step forward, becoming one of the US's top weapons suppliers.
As for Gygro, it was a company that dabbled in compression algorithms, something that would soon become the backbone of communication through video calls and meets.
By my calculation, at some point in the future they would be purchased by Google, but that will on be after they had made significant breakthroughs and had become a recognised tech company, something that should happen in the middle of next year.
Out of the 60 million dollars I had put in my account, I had spent 40 million in just buying stocks, paying fees and getting myself into VIP.
Reaching for my phone, I pushed my feet and spun my chair, looking at my bed with a frown as I dialled a number.

Obviously, Nadia had just gone to her computer to look up the company and given the fact that she had actually taken less than a minute to do this, my forehead creased.
"Did you just boot on your computer?"
