Re:write The Authors Transmigration-Chapter 307: Life Is A Never Ending War

There was once a tall tale about a towering figure they dubbed the Wandering Loner. A being of absolute admiration it fright, a warrior known for his deeds, yet a monster to those who bared their fangs. Those who witness his power, having not possessed any backing of a god, the people believe he was the heavens equal

Gabriel blocks Kyo Min Soo’s brutal lick with the back end of his spear resulting in the force sending them both flying. Although they’re both on par in terms of speed, the Knight of War had all of the stats in his possession to be boosted. He manages to withstand the force and as his foot touches the ground it trembles as the force he exerted broke the ground

"Diligence my ass, your only gimmick is that you’re fast. And sorry to say these wings of yours have to go. I had enough of your nimble escape,"

His wings he painstakingly recovered met their end at the hands of his foe, and just as he thought they would’ve grown they didn’t. He felt his flesh simmering and he struck Kyo’s chest with an elbow thrust breaking away from his grapple. He witnesses as the Knight of War breath Hellfire from his mouth and that leads to the reason his wings refuse to grow

"It’s such a great technique, too bad it’ll only work once a day. But for it to have the ability to nullify all recovery. I understood the reason why," The two began to free fall for the last time in their battle, and with nothing for Gabriel to step on he was vulnerable

"Chains of Restriction!!!"

Gabriel tries to parry with his spear but Kyo, knowing him full well, decides to swing the chains so hard to whack his cranium. Gabriel knew of the sheer raw power that Kyo had applied in those chains so instead of carrying the inevitable he protected his skull. Although he was caught and knew full well what that meant, he braced for impact as the Little Juggernaut of Enigma attacks

"Ancestral Awakening; Right Hand Of The Beast!!!" He channeled his Chi which grew corrupted over time transforming his hand into a beastly yet devilish counterpart

"Moonlit Strike,"

That attack of his sends forth a powerful punch and its aura forms a moon-shaped crest as the attack lands on Gabriel. He was the first to feel the ground’s embrace and before his Bloodthirsty adversary could tug the chains he severed its binds. Moments after his monstrous foe descends and before their clash, his body recovers granting him the capability to fling Gungir

"I know you can hear me, so let me give you a little word of advice. Gungir’s stats are interconnected with its wielded. Which means that my speed is at it’s possession,"

Kyo vaulted at the hovering terrains caused by his landing which he used as his platform to dash through the map. Gungir’s speed was no laughing matter and it took him to run on all fours just for him to gain the upper hand. The streaks of Darkness flashed throughout the battlefield as he vaulted again and again until all that running came to an end

"Come over here!!!" Kyo surprises him as he suddenly appeared at his back giving him enough time to throw a sucker punch

"Urrrgggh!"

Although his recovery was fast, the shock from Kyo’s overwhelming strike stunned him, even if for a second. In the duration of his loss of control, Gabriel witnesses Gungir heading straight at his enemy’s back. He laughs but that soon turns to a frown as the mischievous wolf times it perfectly giving no room for the spear to draw away

"Pop quiz, if your divine weapon is gonna kill you what will it do? Will it kill you? Disown you? Or maybe it will stop?"

Although Kyo wasn’t certain of the outcome he knew that if that spear didn’t stop his enemy would’ve died. Because of that Gungir’s effect came to a pause for the very first time and the divine spear fell flat to the ground. The spear then tries to return to its master’s side but is stopped by a single placement of Kyo Min Soo’s foot

"God damn it," Gabriel fails around at Kyo’s arm, and though he threw punches and whatnot his enemy’s durability was formidable

"Whoops! That ain’t so angel-like ain’t it? Pump the hate brake fuck nuts. You’ve been flying for so long so how bout you give the ground a bit of love,"

As his head remained at the hands of Kyo Min Soo his head was pummeled to the ground over and over. It didn’t take long for the hole to widen, he took a handful of dirt and blinded him, but even that didn’t faze him and he kept pummeling. Gabriel was desperate so he did the unthinkable and allowed Gungir to return in a much more violent way

"Shit!" Kyo hardly gives a damn but knowing its characteristics he didn’t allow himself to get struck

"Heavenly Onslaught!!!"

Gabriel was struck by his spear but he made sure he got hit in a place where it wouldn’t hinder his movements. As his weapon came to his possession once more he repeatedly thrust his spear imbued with overflowing divinity. But this time Kyo wasn’t defenseless, he dodged his spear left and right, and as he drew closer he met the spear’s rear end knocking him back

’Kyo Min Soo... apart from persistence, what else do you need to survive? If you know I’ll give you a treat,’

"Of course, I know... it’s my life’s motto. To survive you need to have everything. So one’s greed is the next biggest piece," Barely a minute was left at his buffed state and Kyo’s entire body began to be consumed by darkness and all

The two entered supersonic and as their clash intensified not a blur was to be seen and debris came flying all around. These two had now reached light speed, Gabriel with his maxed stack of Diligence and Kyo with his Final stretch. Seconds grew longer as they spent on this velocity but Kyo knew he had to succeed no matter the cause

"Overclock!!!"

He pushed his limits to the max granting him the upper hand and even with Gabriel’s speed he couldn’t match his strength. This angel now felt the disgrace of being on the defense, as this monstrous abomination charges ahead. His spear couldn’t graze him on a bit and so he parried, and parried, and parried until his arms gone wobbly

"This is the end– oh shit!!!" Times up, his buffed state ended and that last attack of his would be the end of Gabriel but he took so long

"Oh dear, it seems you lost!!!"

Kyo manages to block his incoming attack due to their proximity allowing him to read the timing of his attack. His body flies throughout their battlefield and when he meets the border he bounces back to where Gabriel lingers. He graciously meets his end as the divine spear is lodged through his abdomen, the very same place that took his life

"Ahahahaahaha!!! What was all that then? Where’s all that arrogance now huh? You’re just another loser like anyone else," Gabriel’s celebration was cut short when noticed him being bound by a chain that impaired his movement, and a smile smeared on his foe’s complexion

"Are you sure about that?"

"No- this isn’t happening! You’re dead!! This spear can kill anyone!!! Once you’re hit by a lethal strike it’s all over,"

Gabriel then realizes the real meaning of the term Body of War, it wasn’t just a vessel meant for War. It was a body that could outlast War, and apart from the variety of skills it had one thing left, it was the same thing his enemy spoke of. Persistence is the ability to disobey everything that stands in their path to victory and play right through it

Kyo raises his right arm and all of his strength is gathered into one, and he simultaneously activates his awakening. His Ancestral bloodline and the Demonic counterpart he gained through his playthrough as Argoth. Gabriel knew there was nothing he could’ve ever done and he cursed him for the remainder of his life

’Kyo Min Soo, it’s still too early but remember these words, no matter how fucked up your life becomes keep smiling. Life is war, it’s loud, chaotic, and mind breaking but in war, we meet allies, who remind us of our loved ones... so be the embodiment of war, be loud, obnoxious, merciless, and never be silent because we live in chaos and die in peace,’

"You never heard of these words before so I’ll tell ya what it means. Life is war. So scream, let your voice be heard!!!" The aura around his arm took the shape of a wolf and as he drove in close to Gabriel’s face he screamed at the top of his lungs

"Lycan... smash!!!" His attack drove everyone into deep silence and for a moment the commotion around him grew quiet leaving him the only one screaming

"You hear that? My heart is beating so fast I ain’t even joking yo. So this is what it feels to be alive? It fucking hurts!!!" Although he won the battle, Kyo felt every muscle in his body tearing apart, it seems he didn’t notice until his focus returns to his body
