Regression - Second Chance At Life-Chapter 39: Sean

"Master Adam..." Xu Lin calls Adam’s name as she sees him standing before her with plates in his hand.

"Master Adam, you should have left the plates at the table. I would have collected them myself," Xu Lin says, approaches Adam and takes the plates off his hands.

"Well, the breakfast was delicious, so I had to personally come and praise the chef," Adam says, and walks up to Xu Lin, who has her back turned to him as she puts the plates in the sink.

She turns around and finds Amon standing right before her, startling her a little.

"No need to thank me, Master. It’s my job..." Xu Lin says, blushing.

"And for a job well done, you should receive your flowers," Adam says, grabs her chin with his thumb and index finger, raises her head up, leans in and gives her a peck on her lips before pulling away.

An explosion goes off inside Xu Lin’s head from Adam’s action. Though it’s just a small peck on her lips, it’s still a very bold action for a girl who has so very little experience, like Xu Lin.

Her face turns as red as a tomato, while her heart is beating over a hundred miles a minute.

Her eyes flicker as she looks up at Adam’s charismatic smile and gentle, beautiful eyes. She is falling in love with Adam.

"Do you like your reward?" Adam asks with a gentle tone.

Xu Lin, shy and unable to speak, lowers her head, causing Adam to chuckle. "I will take that as a yes. Keep doing good work, and there will be more rewards for you in the future," Adam says, patting her head and walking away.

He is already beginning to condition Xu Lin, and with how innocent and naïve she is, it would be a piece of cake.

Adam exits his house, gets in his car, turns on the engine, and drives to work.

No one would believe that a rich young kid, driving a sports car that costs over two hundred thousand dollars, works at a restaurant as a waiter for normal people.

Forty-five minutes later, Adam arrives at his workplace. He parks his car in the same spot as yesterday and walks into the restaurant through the back door.

He sees Ellie, already working in the kitchen, preparing for the day.

"Adam! Good morning!" Ellie wishes him a good morning with a beautiful smile.

She looks as gentle as Mother Nature, shining warmly. Immediately making Adam’s day better.

"Good morning to you, too," Adam wishes her back with equal enthusiasm.

Suddenly, a man walks into the kitchen, someone Adam didn’t see yesterday.

Adam looks at the man, and the man looks at Adam.

The man is about five feet nine inches tall, with red hair, fair skin with some freckles, average build, with some fat around his waist, and above average looks.

The man also checks out Adam, and what he sees before him makes him feel a little insecure, as Adam is taller, has a broader frame, and is so much more handsome than him.

"Adam, let me introduce you to my boyfriend, Sean. He decides to come and help me run the restaurant today," Ellie says.

"You know I would be here for you every day if I could, baby," Sean says, looking at Ellie. "I know, baby, and that’s why I love you," Ellie says, smiling happily.

Adam looks at the dynamic and notices something weird. ’Maybe I am just overthinking it,’ Adam thinks, and passes it off.

"Sean, this is Adam, our new waiter. He just started yesterday and is already extremely popular with our customers, especially with the ladies," Ellie says.

"I can see that," Sean says and walks up to Adam and extends his hand. "Nice to meet you, Adam," he says. "Nice to meet you too," Adam smiles back and shakes his hand.

As Adam shakes Sean’s hand, he feels slight pressure on his hand, a sign of hostility? Adam doesn’t know, but he ignores it as Adam doesn’t even feel the slightest discomfort, and he doesn’t want to fight back and embarrass Sean before Ellie, as she might start thinking less of Adam if he did so.

No girl wants to see their boyfriend humiliated, unless they are twisted in the head.

"I should go and change," Adam says to Ellie. "Yes, and please turn the sign at the front door open after," Ellie requests. "Sure, will do," Adam says and heads to the changing room.

Sean watches Adam leave before bringing his attention back to Ellie.

"He is quite handsome, isn’t he?" Sean says. "Yes, he is," Ellie says, smiling. Seeing the smile on her face makes Sean uncomfortable, which Ellie notices.

"What? Does having Adam around me make you jealous?" Ellie asks, smiling, making Sean annoyed.

"You know I don’t like such jokes, right?" Sean says, annoyed. "You have nothing to worry, baby, he is just eighteen years old. Why would he ever be interested in someone much older than him?" Ellie says.

"He is just eighteen?" Sean asks, surprised, as the aura around Adam is very mature. "Yes, I was also surprised when I first saw him," Ellie says.

"But still, you don’t know teenagers. They love the idea of sleeping with older women," Sean says.

"Come on, baby, you know me, and you know how much I love you. You have nothing to worry about," Ellie says and gets back to work.

’I hope so,’ Sean thinks, and begins assisting her in her work.

Adam puts on his uniform and transforms into a fine-looking man, and opens the restaurant for the day.

With the restaurant open, customers slowly start pouring in, which is not difficult for Adam to handle as they are only a few and the only thing they are ordering is something to drink and a light breakfast to go.

"Sorry, I am late!" Cassie runs into the restaurant, breathing heavily. Adam notices that she is wearing the same dress she wore yesterday, meaning she stayed at someone else’s house.

"You better change into your uniform fast," Adam says as Cassie rushes to the woman’s changing room.

Surprisingly, after five minutes, Leila also walks in. "I thought you only worked evening hours?" Adam questions.

"I don’t have classes for a few days, and extra cash helps. Not everybody is a rich boy," She says with a smirk and heads to the changing room.

Soon, both come to the front of the house in their uniforms and begin helping Adam around.

As the three serve the people coming in and hang around talking with each other, someone approaches them.

"How’s things going on out here?" Sean asks, approaching the group.

Adam immediately notices Sean’s eyes fixated on Leila’s and Cassie’s breasts, his eyes jumping left and trying, leering at them both.

Adam smirks as he starts putting the picture of Sean together, and what type of man he is.

It’s not only Adam who notices his behavior, as women, they both see the way Sean looks at them. While Cassie doesn’t think much of it, Leila clearly despises it, knowing that this man is their boss’s boyfriend.

"Everything’s going great," Adam answers, stepping forward.

Sean has to lift his head up to talk to Adam, which makes it feel somewhat degrading to him. Well, it’s his own insecurity flaring up; Adam has nothing to do with this.

"I can see that. Cassie, how are you doing? How’s life treating you?" Sean ignores Adam and brings his attention to Cassie.

"I am doing fine, Mr. Sean, thanks for your concern," Cassie says with a smile, but there is no warmth in her tone that she usually has when talking to Adam or Leila.

Sean then tries to talk to Leila, but seeing the coldness in her eyes and the judgmental look she is giving him, he keeps his words to himself and decides to leave.

"Well, keep up the good work," he says and leaves.

Once he has disappeared from their sight, Leila speaks up. "I fucking hate that guy. Fucking creep!" she doesn’t hold back her thoughts when it comes to Sean.

"Looks like he really pissed you off. What did he do?" Adam asks.

"The asshole always keeps leering at my breasts or at my ass. I don’t know why Ellie is even dating that creep? He is not even that good-looking," Leila says.

"It is true that Miss Ellie is far more good-looking than Mr. Sean," Cassie says, not choosing to be as harsh as Leila with her words. Still trying to maintain this image of a good, sweet girl.

"Well, you women with your weird habits," Adam says, chuckling.

"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Leila asks with her hands on her hips, sounding offended.

"Just a joke, just a joke," Adam says and pretends to go back to work. Leila smirks. She knew Adam was joking.

Back in the kitchen, Sean approaches Ellie. "How is it outside?" Ellie asks.

"They are doing well, you don’t need to worry," Sean says and gets behind Ellie and wraps his hand around her waist. He then begins kissing the back of her neck while his hands slowly start reaching towards her breasts.

"Baby, not now. The kitchen staff will be here any minute," Ellie says. "Come on, baby, just a few minutes. I will be done quickly," Sean says.

Cassie’s and Leila’s breasts were too much of a stimulation for him, and now he is looking for a release.

"Baby, not right now. The staff will be here any minute. How about during lunch, when all the staff will be absent?" Ellie asks while pushing Sean back.

"Fine," he agrees, but he is not happy with it.
