SEX WITH MY BEST FRIEND'S FIANCÉ-Chapter 81 - EIGHTY ONE
Chapter 81: Chapter EIGHTY ONE
- KILLIAN -
Cool breeze blows through the window and rests on my skin from behind. I sigh, signing and writing some paperwork while hacking into a ton of government databases. I will find her no matter what. The woman who murdered my parents will pay.
Hacking into government and international databases was easier than I anticipated. Way too easy. All I’m going across right now are those suspicious ones regarding people. It’s easy to delete one’s existence but as long as the person was born, educated, trained and has been seen in daylight without a mask or covering, while having DNA samples in so many places, finding that person might take a while. But the person can be found.
Unless she’s dead. My jaw tightens. That is something I do not want. I want to have the pleasure of annihilating her myself. My fists clench.
I want to have that murderer begging for mercy with the last life hanging in her throat while her body is decapitated with crushed bones while I strangle her.
My life became hell since then. I will make her pass through every bit of it with those few hours I’ll spend with her. You didn’t think I’d let her die that easily, did you?
Breeze brushes on the back of my head, threading through my air. Something about its movement changed. I felt it swift before halting on my neck.
Someone’s here.
"Interesting." The words slid in my ears as the person peers forward by my side.
Lightning quick, I dip my hand into my pocket and take out my gun, lunging my other hand forward to hold the person behind me. I shove everything on my desk to the ground and slam the person’s body hard on my desk, pinning her to the table.
My gun is pressed on the neck of the woman who thought it wise to invade my privacy.
She flashes a wide half grin at me, barely struggling out of my clutch. "Always on edge. Something I missed about you."
Asami raises her body up slightly. I force her back down to my desk with my hand pressing her abdomen. "I won’t say this twice, never invade my privacy again." I cock my gun looking deep into her eyes.
Fear.
I notice her eyes widen and flicker with fear at the two mouthed metal gun angling in her neck. Oh how fulfilling it’ll be to end her life right here.
Asami’s brows furrows but she maintains a smile at me. I scoff while smirking then let her go.
So even the devil’s wife gets scared? That’s new. I sit back down. "Pick everything up." I say to her, closing my laptop and hiding the files. I may have lost that flash drive, but that doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten how to do my job effortlessly.
"I didn’t drop them." I give her a side gaze. She’s massaging her neck.
"You made me drop them."
"No. You chose to." Her voice sounds hoarse. "The same way you chose to welcome me with a gun. Pick your shit up by yourself."
I sigh. Fair point. "What are you doing here, Asami?" I ask, bending down to gather the litter I caused. I’m in my home office. I have to say, slamming her into a wall would’ve done me much good instead.
"You never told me her name is Hazel." Asami giggles, that playful tone returns.
My body freezes for a second. I place some of my files on my desk then proceed to pack the others. Asami waltzes around, circling me and the table. Her body collapses on a chair and she crosses her legs. "I’m prettier. Have you lost your taste, Killian?"
The last set of everything drops on the table and I finally spare her a gaze. "Still living in delusion?" I raise a brow, keeping my face bland. "If you choose to truly bask in it, then I have no objection."
She frowns, shooting me a dead glare. That makes the ends of my lips curl to a barely noticeable smile. I love getting her infuriated. Especially when that’s how I feel whenever she’s around me. Everything down to hearing her voice disgusts me.
"Whatever."
I chuckle under my breath. "Why the unexpected visit?" I lean forward, resting both elbows on my desk while digging my fingers in between each, other under my jaw. "Are you broke and have no where to stay?"
She hums. "That will take decades of overspending and not working. It’s hard to be broke in my world."
I lean back in my seat. My elbow rests on the arm of my chair as my hand hangs in the air. "I’ll wait for you to talk."
"Hazel Summers is a fine name." Asami continues. I roll my eyes. freёnovelkiss.com
"I’m aware."
"You just never told me her name was Hazel Summers." From her tone, I know she’s trying to imply something. Especially when she puts emphasis on Hazel’s name. A wide grin forms on her face. "Sweet and innocent cute lady."
"I need you reminded that if you even dare inhale the same air she breathes, I’ll have your neck and I’m not joking." My voice is stern.
Asami stands. It was then I noticed her outfit. She’s dressed in a black cooperate jumpsuit with center buttons that lines from the collar to her torso. A black belt, the same material as the jumpsuit, is tied around her waist and she has a long, black, leather jacket on. "Protective. Quite charming, watashi no ai."

I give her the hard stare.
"If you don’t want me to look at her, then don’t have her all around me."
All around her?
My eyes darken. Asami was here last night. Fuck. I stand. "You’re under the protection of my-" Temporary, I say in my mind. "-ally so I’ll let this slide today. But if you come to my home one more time unannounced, that will be the last time your natural legs will touch the face of the earth while attached to your body."
She gasps. She has known me long enough to know when I’m not joking. I hate this. I hate that Hazel is being exposed this way. I hate that I have no idea what Asami is thinking nor what S intended by bringing her here. I hate that she could be reporting every bit of her experience to S and They might be aware of Hazel’s existence.

Liam’s words when I went to meet Hazel in the hospital replays in my head. Him warning telling me not to bring someone into a world they’re not prepared for, because not everyone is like us. I don’t want Hazel corrupted, but that girl has inked an impression into my mind and it’s too late to let go of her now. My jaw clenches. "Have I made myself clear?" I break the silence with my words.
"Perfectly." Asami’s voice is strained.
"Good." I exhale. Surely she didn’t show up here just to alert me of her intrusions? "Have anything else to talk about?"
"A lot actually. But I’ll say none." Asami folds her arms over her chest. "Summers," She adds then clears her throat. I wonder why she’s intent on Hazel’s name. Is there something I don’t know about? I know there’s something she’s not telling me but I won’t bother to ask. "You’ve not been in contact with S recently. Talk to him. He has a message to pass on to you."
"I’ll check my schedule." I say. Something pops in my mind. "Will you be present during my meeting sessions with him?"
"According to S, yes."
I see. That snake! They wants to have information about my every move.

"I’ll be sure to inform you when they’ll hold."
"Will surely be appreciated." Asami replies back hastily. Her breath is quivering. I can tell something’s wrong.
I hesitate for a second before letting the words out. "Are you okay?" Stifles out my throat. She strikes me a warm smile then stares at the floor. Her hand scratches her neck.
"I think so." She breath. "Your gun... was it laced with anything?"
Shit.
I dip my hand in my pocket. I raise the glass vial in my hand. "It is. Here’s the cure. Take it with your tea or meals. Never inject directly into your veins and be careful to use only a drop per day. Five days will be enough for a steady recovery." I say to her.
"I’m surprised you cared to give me the details." Asami’s voice trails as soft.
"You’re an important asset. Would hate to lose you before the funeral starts." I throw the bottle to her. If it falls and shatters, I won’t hand her another one. Although it won’t, Asami never misses a catch.
"Sure." She holds onto it, swinging her hand in the air. Asami shifts the collar of her jumpsuit to the side and dips the vial in between her breasts. Her black bra comes to sight.
"We’re not close. Be careful how you reveal yourself to me."
She flashes me a grin. "What haven’t you already seen, Killian?"
I dip my hand in my pocket. Whenever I think of her, my blood boils. I shouldn’t have given her the cure. "The window’s that way." I point with a gentle nudge of my shoulders. She’s well accustomed with flying in through windows. It’s only right she gets out through one. "When will you be leaving?" I ask, watching her closely as she walks forward.
"Haven’t you heard? Could be indefinite. I am with the school."
My fist clench in my pocket. "How did you bend your way in?" I already know the answer to that.
"The same way you did." Asami stands by my side, looking up at me. "Everything is easy with the right connection."
"Knowing you, you must’ve used vile means despite having it easy." Maybe even killed somebody.
"Why?" She’s asks, keeping her chin up. "Scared I’m fucking someone else?"
Not even in the slightest.
"Out." I tilt my head to the side, gesturing at the window behind me. Asami walks past me. Her heels make slightly loud clinks on the ground. "Don’t interact with her." I utter. I want Asami far from Hazel by all means.
"You don’t own me anymore Killian. I’m under no obligation to follow your wants." I hear some grunts coming from behind. "Sayonara, watashi no ai."
