Sleeping With My Step Daddy-Chapter 46: "Heat That Won’t Fade"
Chapter 46: "Heat That Won’t Fade"
Rico: "Is everything okay?"
Kai stayed silent. Rico reached out, gently grabbing Kai’s hand.
Rico: "Let’s talk in private."
Eden watched them with a hint of suspicion, then spoke.
Eden: "Kai, I’ll take care of Miles."
Kai nodded. "Please don’t let him drink more."
Eden nodded again as Kai followed Rico into a private room. Once inside, Rico’s expression turned serious.
Rico: "Did Victor do something again?"
Kai: "He came to the college to pick up Miles. He’s using Ethan to get close to him."
Rico: "How cheap can this man get?"
Kai: "I need your help. Miles is in trouble, and I can’t stand seeing him like this."
Rico: "Don’t worry. I’ll help you."
Kai: "Thanks."
Rico smiled. "You know I don’t like receiving thanks."
Kai looked at him. "Then what do you want?"
Rico stood up and sat closer to Kai, making him hesitate.
Kai: "What are you doing?"
Rico smirked. "What do you think I want in return?"
Kai: "You want to sleep with me?"
Rico laughed. "It’s true. When I first saw you, I really wanted to sleep with you—badly."
Kai’s eyes widened in shock.
Rico: "But now... I only see you as a little kid. A stubborn little kid."
He reached out and gently squeezed Kai’s cheeks.
Rico: "Don’t worry. I’ll handle that bastard Victor."
Meanwhile, Miles reached for another drink, but Eden quickly grabbed his wrist.
Eden: "Miles, stop. You’ve had enough."
Miles looked at him with blurry eyes, voice slurring slightly.
Miles: "Eden, why do you always care about me, huh?"
Eden: "Because I do. But don’t drink anymore."
Miles’ hand slid across Eden’s chest, his touch unsteady.
Miles: "You have such a strong body..."
Eden stiffened. "Miles... you’re drunk."
He gently pushed him back, trying to create space between them, but Miles only smiled—clearly lost in the haze of alcohol.
Miles: "You really don’t want me?"
Eden: "Miles..."
Miles’ fingers moved again, this time rubbing over Eden’s chest and squeezing gently. Eden’s body tensed. He tried to hold back, resisting the urge to react, but Miles wasn’t letting up. His gaze dropped.
Miles (smirking): "Look at you... you’re so hard. How can you hold yourself back?"
He leaned closer and whispered with a drunk grin.
Miles: "Let’s go to the restroom..."
Eden’s body shivered as Miles’ hand slid lower, pressing against the front of his pants. Eden’s eyes fluttered shut for a second—his breath catching at the sudden, intimate touch. He could feel Miles’ fingers brushing over him, the heat stirring something deep and confusing.
His mind raced. Should I take him to the restroom? No. He’s drunk. This isn’t right.
Eden shook his head hard, snapped back to his senses. He gently but firmly pushed Miles’ hand away and stood up, stepping back.
Eden (low voice): "Miles, calm down."
Miles just smiled, tipsy and teasing.
Miles (grinning): "Who should calm down, me or you?"
He glanced down at Eden’s pants, where his arousal was painfully obvious.
Miles: "You’re so hard... It’s showing."
Kai and Rico returned just as Miles tried to pour himself another drink.
Kai (firmly): "Let’s go, Miles. We should head home."
Miles (slurring): "I don’t want to go home... I have no house."
Kai sighed, his voice softer now. "You’re such a bad drinker."
Rico stepped in without a word and helped Kai lift Miles up. Together, they managed to get him to the car. Once they settled Miles into the back seat, Kai turned to Eden.
Kai: "Okay, Eden. See ya."
Eden nodded silently.
Kai slid into the passenger seat. Rico leaned into the open window.
Rico: "I’ll call you later, Kai."
Kai: "Okay."
With that, Rico walked to his car, got in, and drove off. Kai and Miles soon followed, disappearing down the road.
Eden stood frozen, his thoughts tangled. His body still remembered the feeling of Miles’ hands, and the moment played over in his mind like a slow echo.
He whispered to himself, "I need to go home."
Miles and Kai arrived home. Kai carefully helped Miles to the room, guiding his unsteady steps.
Miles (mumbling): "Kai... let’s drink more. I want to forget everything... even my name. I’m not Miles... I don’t want to be Miles anymore..."
Kai looked at his face—so tired, so broken. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
Without a word, he helped Miles lie down. He gently removed his jacket and shoes, then pulled a blanket over him.
Kai stepped out of the room, quietly closing the door behind him. He turned—and stopped.
Bast was standing there, waiting.
Kai looked at him for a moment, then without warning, stepped forward and hugged him tightly.
Kai (whispering): "I’m so tired..."
Bast gently held Kai in his arms.
Bast (softly): "Is everything okay?"
Kai let out a sigh.
Kai: "Yeah... Miles is just drunk again."
Bast: "Why did he drink so much? Did he fight with Ethan again?"
Kai: "He’s sad... Ethan ignored him all day. He didn’t come to college to pick him up either."
Bast rubbed his hands soothingly along Kai’s back.
Bast: "I see... and are you angry at me too? For not picking you up?"
Kai looked up at him.
Kai: "Yes, I am."
Bast gave a soft chuckle.
Bast: "Then... do you want to punish me?"
Kai blinked, caught off guard.
Bast: "Punish me however you want."
Without hesitation, Kai grabbed Bast’s collar, yanked him down, and kissed him hungrily. Bast’s hands wrapped tightly around Kai’s waist as he kissed him back with equal passion.
They kissed each other passionately, lips crashing in hunger and desire. Bast’s hands remained firmly on Kai’s waist, pulling him closer. Suddenly, Kai’s phone rang, breaking the moment.
Kai glanced at the screen.
Kai: "It’s Ethan..."
Bast didn’t let go but loosened his grip slightly as Kai answered the call.
Ethan (on the phone): "Kai, is Miles with you?"
Kai: "Yes. We went to a party tonight—he’s drunk, but he’s with me. Don’t worry."
Ethan: "I’m coming to pick him up."
He hung up before Kai could say anything more.
Bast (raising a brow): "So... can we continue what we were doing?"
Kai smiled faintly.
Kai: "Ethan’s coming to pick up Miles, so we should stop here."
Bast let out a small sigh.
Bast: "Then... should we at least kiss once more?"
Kai’s smile deepened. Without another word, Bast pulled him in again, crashing their lips together in a desperate, lingering kiss.
After some time, Ethan arrived at Kai’s place.
Ethan: "Where is Miles?"
Kai: "In my room. He’s asleep."
Ethan walked quietly to Kai’s room and stepped inside. Miles lay there, sleeping peacefully, his cheeks flushed red from drinking. Ethan stared for a moment before approaching the bed.
Bast leaned on the doorframe, arms crossed.
Bast: "Ethan... why do you hurt that kid like that?"
Ethan sighed.
Ethan: "I’ve just been busy."
Bast: "You know he doesn’t handle being ignored well. Don’t do that to him again."
Ethan didn’t respond. He slowly sat on the edge of the bed and gently patted Miles’ head.
Ethan (softly): "I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to ignore you... I’m just trying to settle everything—for us."
Bast watched for a moment, then said:
Bast: "It’s too late to talk now. Stay here tonight. Miles is sleeping peacefully—don’t wake him."
Ethan nodded, his gaze still fixed on Miles.
Bast turned away and walked out with Kai. Once they were out of the room, Bast reached for Kai’s hand, locking their fingers together.
Bast (smirking): "Let’s go to the room. We need to finish what we started."
Before Kai could argue, Bast dragged him to his room and shut the door behind them, locking it.
Kai: "Bast... Ethan and Miles are here. We shouldn’t—"
Bast stepped closer, eyes dark.
Bast: "How could I stay calm after all this? Look at this..."
Kai looked down and noticed Bast’s body reacting—there was no hiding how aroused he was.
Bast: "It’s hard now. Take responsibility."
Kai gave a small, knowing smile.
Kai: "You’re unbelievable."
They kissed again, heat reigniting between them.
Ethan took off his coat and quietly lay down beside Miles. He pressed a soft kiss to his forehead, watching as Miles continued to sleep peacefully. "I’m sorry, Miles," he whispered. "I won’t do this again. I promise." He gently brushed the hair from Miles’s face, then wrapped his arms around him in a careful embrace—like he was holding something fragile, something he couldn’t afford to lose. Because deep down, Ethan knew... if he lost Miles, he’d lose himself too.
At Eden’s home...
Eden sat on the edge of his bed, running a hand through his hair as he sighed deeply. He unbuttoned his pants and slipped them off, his mind still clouded by the memory of what had happened earlier. Why did I stop him? he thought. We could’ve just gone to the restroom... The arousal still lingered, too strong to ignore.
Frustrated with himself, Eden stood and walked into the bathroom. He turned on the cold water, stepping under the icy stream, hoping it would cool the fire burning inside him. "I just need to calm down," he muttered to himself, eyes closed as the water soaked his skin.
But even the cold water didn’t help. Eden glanced down, frustrated. "It’s still... hot," he muttered under his breath. The tension wouldn’t go away. He hesitated, his hand slowly moving down. "Maybe this is the only way to calm down..." he whispered, giving in to the overwhelming heat.
