Supreme Spouse System.-Chapter 115: Blood Essence Orb.
Chapter 115: Blood Essence Orb.
Blood Essence Orb.
The tub water still felt warm against his skin, subtly perfumed with rosewood and citrus oils. Steam wreathed slowly in the air, misting the brass-edged mirror over the vanity. Out in the bath chamber’s frosted windows, birds sang like they were dancing to celebrate the storm’s passing. Inside the foggy hush of the room, though, Leon lay alone, arms along the porcelain edge, mind whirling like the water around him.
"System," he thought to himself.
[Ding~]
A gentle ring resonated within his mind. Suddenly, a pale blue screen hovered into being before his vision, glowing gently like the light of the moon on calm water. The interface answered with elegant ease, its letters sharp and clean.
"Open quest completion panel."
[Ding~]
A second panel covered the first. As the text manifested, Leon’s brows arched infinitesimally.
[Mission Triggered: Fuck Kyra]
[Objective: Make Kyra completely yours]
[Reward: Charm Maximizer, +40 Blank Points]
[Warning: Failure will disable "Touch of Charm"]
[Time Limit: 18 Days]
[Status: Completed]

Then, just as suddenly—
[Mission Triggered: Fuck Syra]
[Objective: Make Syra completely yours]
[Reward: Covenant of Will, +40 Blank Points]
[Warning: Failure will disable "Touch of Charm"]
[Time Limit: 18 Days]
[Status: Completed]
Would you like to receive your rewards? Y/N
Leon’s lips twisted into a slow, pleased smile. "Both done... Of course, they are."
He raised a hand from the bath, flipped his wet fingers toward the ’Yes’ button, and clicked it.
Ding~ Ding~
The system chimed once more—then locked up.
Secret Quest Complete:
[Make a Harem of Five Members]
[Eligible for Random Reward]
[Reward: Random Reward Assigned]
[Processing Time: 30 Seconds]
Leon blinked. "Wait... what?"
His heart skipped a brief beat, not of fear—but excitement. A random reward for a secret quest? That hadn’t occurred before.
"Not two prizes," he muttered, spreading his smile wider. "Three."
[Ding~]
[Host has received: Blood Essence Orb]
Leon sat up straighter in the bathtub, water sloshing around his chest. "What the crap is a... Blood Essence Orb?"
A fourth screen moved forward, presenting a short but intense description:
[Blood Essence Orb: A rare crystallization of ancient blood energies.]
[Consuming it may evolve or enhance the host’s bloodline depending on latent potential and luck.]
Leon’s mouth parted slightly. "Evolve my bloodline?"
"System," he called out in his mind. "What does it mean to evolve my bloodline? Evolve into what? A dragon? A god?"
A neutral mechanical voice responded:
[Perhaps, Host. Perhaps not.]
[The Blood Essence Orb merely triggers a metamorphosis.]
[ But the outcome depends entirely on your latent bloodline and your fortune.]
Leon’s eyes narrowed, focusing on the glowing icon of the orb. "You’re saying it can transform me into. something different. But you don’t know what?"
[Correct. The chances of evolution compared to enhancement are 40-60 percent.]
He blew out a slow breath, eyes alert. "Fifty to sixty, huh? Not terrific. Not awful."
Nonetheless, his thoughts ran rampant. The possibilities were endless. His muscles tightened beneath the soothing water as he considered the risks.
[Note: Drinking the Blood Essence Orb needs a peaceful atmosphere.] [Time Limit: 2 Days.] [Warning: The procedure is horribly painful.]
Leon gritted his teeth. "Of course, it is. What’s power come without a little less suffering?
But then he settled back, relaxing once more into the tub. "Still. power and evolutionary development of bloodline are costly. Pain is unavoidable. And time? I have two days to finish the process – and time limit it’s too great when I am off to the capital."
He sat in silence for a moment, observing the water swirl around him. Then he nodded to himself.
"I’ll wait until I get back to Silver City. Somewhere safe. Somewhere quiet." He stored the orb in his inventory and grinned. "Thanks for the warning, System."
"It’s my job, Host."
Leon smiled softly, voice resonating in the tiled room. "Then let’s see my other rewards. Open the first reward."
[Ding~]
[Host has obtained a Combat Skill: Covenant of Will]
[Skill Description: With both of your agreements, create a binding covenant of perpetual loyalty. Anyone who accepts the Covenant of Will is the servant of his host both spiritually and physically for life. The host alone can undo this bond. Any force from outside will make the bonded person die.]
His eyes widened. "Whoa... That’s overpowered."
He stayed motionless for a moment, allowing the implications wash over him. This was not loyalty—this was total. Hazardous, maybe. But Surely handy for the times to come.
"This," he breathed, "will prove useful... in the future."
"System, open last reward."
[Ding~]
[Host has acquired Passive Skill: Charm Maximizer]
[Infusing Charm Maximizer into the host body...]
[Estimated Time: 1 minute.]
Leon’s body was suddenly enveloped in a brilliant white-gold sheen. It glowed gently, lighting every ripple of muscle under the water. But there was no pain, only warmth... like sunlight seeping into his flesh.
Peaceful. Calming. Invigorating.
When the light finally did disappear, the room appeared just slightly darker by contrast.
[Charm Maximizer successfully integrated.]
[Charm Maximizer: A passive ability that amplifies the host’s natural charm ten times over. Ordinary women will become irresistibly attracted to the presence of the host. A single smile can awaken profound affection.]
Leon raised a hand to his face, tracing his fingers over his sharp jawline.
"I don’t feel... any different."
[This ability does not change appearance, Host. It heightens presence. To feel the difference, look at your reflection.]
He looked down at the water’s surface. First, the ripples distorted his face—but when they smoothed out, he became immobile.
His facial features had become subtly, impossibly more chiseled. His sharp face seemed carved from marble. His golden eyes shone brighter, like topaz in sunlight. Even his black hair blazed with rich sheen.
Leon gazed, amazed at his own reflection.
"...Damn," he said. "I’m beautiful."
[Host, you have noticed the transformation.]
Leon chuckled, brushing back his hair with a smirk. "You’re incredible, System."
[I am simply performing my function, Host.]
Still grinning, Leon leaned back. "Open my status panel."
[Ding~]

Leon read through the panel with satisfaction.
Before this adventure started, he’d had 419 Blank Points. But on the road with his wives and bodyguards, they’d slain dozens of creatures together. His reserves had increased to 2145. He’d invested 200 in water and air grimoires, bringing the figure down to 1945.
Now, with the rewards, another 80 points.
Total: 2025 Blank Points.
But as he gazed at the figure, his smile wavered a bit.
He let out a sigh. "Still not enough..."
His gaze scanned the screen.
"These Grandmaster-level treasures. they’re expensive."
A deep sigh was let out. He shut down the system interface with a wave of his fingers, the panel disappearing in a splash of light.
"I need more points."
Leon rested in the tub for another minute, half-lidded eyes calculating what he was to do next. The path ahead of him was long. His foes, stronger. But cheat—strong ones—he had now.
Finally, he rose. Water streamed down his chiseled form as he emerged from the bath. A gentle towel bound around his waist; he moved silently over the marbled floor.
From his storage ring, he pulled out a robe—black, with gold embroidery twisting along the edges like living vines. The lining was deep crimson, whisper-soft.
He slid it across his shoulders, the material clinging to him like a second skin. In the mirror, He pushed his shiny black hair back, letting it fall down the back of his neck, observing how it glimmered in the light. And approached the big mirror at the opposite end of the room.
The man in front of him was regal. Authoritative. Irresistible.
"Let’s observe how my lovely wives take this," he said with a wicked smile.
He turned, walked towards the chamber exit doors, and stepped out, leaving behind the stillness of the bath.
The allure of the new Leon Moonwalker had only just started.
