The Crown's Seduction-Chapter 465: To Become A Vampire
Chapter 465: To Become A Vampire
The days passed by like leaves scattered across the wind, and slowly but surely, Dani’s relationship with Abel progressed without much prompting. They both felt like an actual couple now, but they still had a lot of work to do before they could proudly say that they were a loving couple without it being somewhat of a lie.
Well, it was no longer a lie, but somehow, it still didn’t feel like it was the whole truth. That didn’t stop Dani from enjoying what she had at the moment however. In fact, she had something in mind that would probably even endear Abel even more to her. Something that she was already preparing herself for if it ever happened with how often they made love these days.
"So, how many kids do you want?"
...
....
Abel coughed at the sudden question, and Dani couldn’t help but laugh at him as he wiped away some bits of his breakfast from his mouth. It was a bold question, sure, but she didn’t think it would be this effective in catching him off guard.
"What’s the matter, husband? Is it just that intimidating of a question?" she asked while chuckling at his expense. "I’m just asking for a number. One? Two? Three?"
"Isn’t that a question that you’re more capable of answering on your own?" Abel gasped out with a chuckle of his own. "Also, why spring such a question on me without prompting?"
"I don’t know. It just crossed my mind all of a sudden," she shrugged before having a bite of her own breakfast. "It’s going to happen sooner or later, right? We might as well plan things out."
Or, well, plan as much as they could plan things out, at least. She wasn’t sure how the logistics of having a vampire husband would work with her being human, but she was sure that she’d be able to handle it in the future.
"Plans, huh... I honestly didn’t think we’d get this far," Abel shrugged back. "To be honest, I don’t like thinking of stuff like this."
"So you just want to let things happen as is then? No aspirations on how many sons or daughters you want?"
"I’ll take what the Almighty would give us," Abel chuckled. "Besides, I wouldn’t want to burden you too much. If it happens, it happens. If not, then I’m still happy just having you by your side."
Dani blushed at his words. As usual, just hearing him speak like that made her heart skip a beat. He was just effortless in making her fall in love with him, she guessed.
"That’s not a proper answer though," Dani pouted despite the blush on her cheeks. "Besides, things could happen, no? Time changes things."
And just like that, the atmosphere in the table cooled considerably. Time... It was a lingering problem for the two of them at the moment. After all, she was still human, which meant that aging still affected her no matter how much the two of them didn’t want it to happen.
"You know, I just want you to be with me until the end of time," Abel admitted with a soft sigh. "Forever and ever... Just the two of us enjoying what we have for as long as the heavens permit it."
"I’d... like that too," Dani admitted back with a slight nod. "But for that to happen..."
"You’d have to become a vampire, yes," Abel finished for her.
Dani let out another sigh at his words. While it was true that she wouldn’t want nothing more than to spend eternity with him, the prospect of becoming a vampire still didn’t sit well with her for some reason. There wouldn’t even be a problem with becoming one, especially since Abel would be the one to turn her when the time came. But for some reason, she just couldn’t say yes to him just yet.
"I... I’m still not sure if I’d actually want that, to be honest," Dani sighed yet again. "I just... I very much like being human, and it feels like I’d be giving something up if I did it."
"Don’t worry. It’s a problem we can always tackle in the future," Abel reassured her. "Just remember that whenever you change your mind, I’ll be here waiting for you with open arms."
"And with an open mouth with fangs bared," Dani joked, causing the two of them to laugh. "I know you’re just itching to drink my blood. As if giving you my body and my womb isn’t enough."
"Well, if you put it like that, it sounds like I’m being selfish," Abel smirked. "That’s all on you and your decisions."
"And I’ve decided to just try bearing you all the children you might want while I’m still fresh and all that," she casually scoffed back. "Maybe after all that I’d decide to be a vampire. Who knows?"
This time, Abel held a blush at her casual admittance, something that Dani couldn’t help but smirk at despite her own rapidly beating heart. Not that she just decided it on a whim. She was already prepared to try and bear him children even before telling it to him. She didn’t know if it would work with her being a human still, but it wouldn’t hurt for her to try.
If anything, it meant that they’d have half-vampire children assuming that was how things worked. That meant having the best of both worlds, right?
"I’ll... hold you to that sooner or later then, my wife," Abel slightly coughed into his fist. "You know, you’ve been rather bold today."
"I guess I’m just feeling myself today," Dani chuckled. "In the same way that you’ve constantly felt me out every night, I suppose."
"Is that an invitation I hear?" Abel leaned in with a smirk.
"Who knows? Maybe?" she coyly replied. "But that comes later. For now, let’s just finish breakfast and get on with our work." freewёbnoνel.com
Smiling brightly at each other, Dani and Abel continued with their daily lives, their love for each other blooming with every day that passed.
