The entire day, Morpheus was busy building the nest, while Ember tried her best not to peek at it. But by noon, she failed to keep her resolve.

She sneaked into her study and stood by the window behind her work desk, which allowed her a view of the balcony and the gigantic tree.

Hiding herself, only her face—up to her beautiful, mischievous-looking eyes—was visible behind the window. She caught a glimpse of the nest, but due to the thick branches hiding it, she couldn't see it clearly.

Tsk! Not clear, she frowned. But where is Morph? Why can't I see him? Has he gone to collect wood to build the nest? Let me take a look.

Just as she thought this, she spotted a winged figure circling the tree—Morpheus. His beautiful, majestic gold wings were spread to their fullest, his entire body surrounded by a golden shimmer, radiating the sheer power he possessed. His arms were wide open as if summoning his powers, his eyes locked onto the tree as he used his powers to build the nest.

The entire tree glowed with his energy, shining gold as if it had become one with him. It was a breathtaking sight.

Her eyes widened, and for a moment, she forgot to breathe. Her mind went completely blank, fixated on her mate. He looked ethereal—his hair and wings shimmering gold, his perfectly sculpted body radiating an otherworldly beauty.

She realized then, as everyone in the kingdom had always said, that Morpheus truly was the most beautiful beast male Agartha.

Draven was handsome and roguish, with a devilish charm. But Morpheus… he was beautiful and approachable, with a playful allure.

Badum!

Her heart skipped a beat. She felt it pounding wildly at the sight—at the sight of her mate.

Shocked, she stepped back, hiding behind the wall, her hand clutching her chest.

My heart. Why is it like this?

She exhaled several times, trying to steady herself. This only ever happened with Draven, but… Morph? This can't be. I'm just amazed by his display of power. My heart belongs only to Draven.

Unable to control the turmoil within her, she ran from the study, determined not to sneak another peek at him.

We will remain just friends—even after I mate with him. Mating just once will rid him of his pain, and after that, there will be no need.

Finally, evening arrived—it was time to go to the human territory to meet Ember's brother. Draven and Ember were ready, waiting at the border with the human territory for Morpheus.

The clan elders were present, advising Draven to be cautious of the humans. Though their king was an invincible dragon, past experiences had proven that humans were more than capable of creating something strong enough to defeat even the most powerful supernaturals.

Morpheus arrived, his large golden wings folded gracefully behind him. Ember glanced at him but, remembering how affected she had been earlier, she forced herself not to stare and instead acted as normally as possible.

"Are we leaving?" Morpheus asked, looking at Draven.

Draven hummed in response, and Morpheus turned to Ember. "Stay with us and don't do anything reckless. You have a habit of doing exactly what you're told not to do."

Ember could only nod, knowing all too well that she had been a troublesome person in the past. She recalled the time in the flower field when Morpheus had warned her to stay away from the hallucination-inducing white flowers—only for her to do the exact opposite.

Everyone noticed the way Morpheus spoke to her. Even Draven had never spoken to her in such a way in front of others. It was clear to all that, despite claiming he didn't want Ember as his mate, he cared for her deeply.

Ember wanted to ask him about the nest but decided against it.

Logan spoke up. "I will be stationed here at the border with the other beasts. If anything happens, send the signal."

Draven and Ember mounted a horse to cross into human territory, where the meeting had been arranged. Morpheus, however, chose to fly alongside them. Draven could have easily teleported them, but he preferred to travel the way humans did.

As they crossed the border, riding at a moderate speed, Morpheus—flying next to them—said, "They're just ahead."

Meanwhile, on the human side, at the location where the meeting was arranged, the human clan leader stood among a gathering of guards and elders outside the massive tents they had set up in the vast green field.

"Leader, they have crossed the border and will be here soon," a man informed the young human clan leader.

The leader hummed in acknowledgment and turned to a man dressed in black hooded robes, his entire body covered from head to toe. "Are you all ready?"

The hooded man nodded and left.

Just then, a group of three young men arrived on horseback—the new guests of the human clan. It was the third prince of Valor, Prince Rhian, accompanied by his two knights.

"Your Highness," the human leader greeted, bowing as the prince dismounted.

"Are they here?" the prince asked, his eyes filled with hope as he gazed toward the border.

"They are about to arrive," the leader informed him.

A wave of emotion washed over the prince. His long days of searching for his sister were finally coming to an end. He wondered what she must look like now, as he only had memories of her as a baby.

She was the prettiest baby. I'm sure she has grown into the prettiest young woman, he thought with a small smile.

The leader returned to his people, leaving the prince alone with his knights.

"Your Highness, is it really true that these people are supernaturals?" one knight asked. "It all sounds like mere rumors to me."

"Maybe. We'll find out soon," the prince replied, listening as his knights continued their discussion.

The other knight spoke up. "That day, we saw huge white tigers with some men near the border. They seemed to get along so well that I wondered how they managed to befriend such wild animals."

"The human guards here told me that those weren't animals but beast-men in their tiger forms," the first knight said. "I found it laughable. I've only heard stories of people transforming into animals, but I've never seen it for real."

"I even saw some men flying in the sky. I wonder if they've created some kind of armor with artificial wings."

"Once we meet the princess, we might get a closer look at those armors and learn how they were made."

"I also heard that our princess' husband is a Dragon. He must be a highly skilled warrior to have earned such a title."

Just then, they saw someone riding toward them. The humans grew alert, preparing to welcome their guests.

Rhian's eyes were fixed on the delicate figure approaching from a distance. Though unclear, he couldn't wait to see her up close.

"The princess is here," one of the knights said. "The one sitting behind her must be her husband. Wait… that man is flying."

"He seems to be wearing winged armor. Finally, we'll get to see it up close."

Rhian ignored their chatter and stepped forward on his own.

The horse stopped close by. Draven dismounted first, then effortlessly lifted Ember down. She wore a hooded robe, concealing her appearance in the dim light of the moon and the flickering glow of fire torches and lamps.

Morpheus landed right beside Ember. With both her mates at her sides, they walked ahead. Morpheus didn't fold his wings back—instead, he kept them spread wide behind him, an unmistakable display of protectiveness over his mate and a silent warning for others to stay away.
