Chapter 100: Preparing (2)

"I am overthinking this," Penelope admitted. "But there is always something that weighs on my mind."

It was one person after the next, so she didn’t have time to relax.

"Forgive me," Penelope said, lying back on the bed. "Give me one day and I will not worry myself about any of this again."

"I have a feeling you will need more than one day," Tyrion replied. He knew her too well to believe her.

Penelope smiled, silently agreeing with Tyrion. "Make it two days and I shall not linger on this. I have had plenty of attention on me since I was a child, but none like this. You must find me silly for worrying over these things."

"I do not. It pleased me to hear that you were not concerned about yourself, but about me. It makes me feel loved," Tyrion said, admiring her beauty as she laid beside him.

Penelope turned her head to the right to look at Tyrion. "Didn’t you feel loved before?’

"I did, but I love seeing you express your love in more than one way," Tyrion explained.

"I am all yours now and tomorrow. I don’t need to go to the palace tomorrow. What would you like to do?" Tyrion asked, taking hold of her hand.

Penelope looked away from Tyrion. The few pages of the book she read filled her mind.

"Thinking of ravishing me?"

Penelope turned her head quickly, enough to make her feel dizzy.

"I am all yours, Penelope. Do as you wish and stop holding it in your thoughts," said Tyrion.

"How have you so smoothly turned this conversation about me ravishing you? That is not what I had in mind at all," Penelope said, sitting up.

"Your cheeks say otherwise, and you have gone back to averting your gaze. It seems that you can only think of ravishing me when you sleep. I have never been so assaulted as I was when you held me last night," Tyrion said, feigning fear.

Penelope did not believe a word he said. "It is you who held me."

"I did hold you, but you were the one whose hands roamed all over my body. It is why I have decided to sleep without a shirt so you may enjoy yourself," said Tyrion.

Penelope couldn’t believe him. "I did not do such a thing."

Penelope was taken aback by Tyrion frowning. "Why are you..."

"Is there nothing you like about my body to explore with your hands when we are so close? Must I work on my body so that it might entice my wife?" Tyrion asked, fighting back his smile as Penelope panicked.

"I- You!" Penelope said, realising what he was doing. "You are cruel."

"My wife is cruller for refusing to admit she enjoys my body. Should I test what you truly feel?" Tyrion asked, drawing closer to Penelope.

Penelope placed her hands on Tyrion’s chest to push him back. "It is day." ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

"So, I have noticed," Tyrion replied, uninterested in the time.

"There is still some light out, yet you want to do this," Penelope said, finding it not to be the best time.

"What does day or night have to do with us enjoying ourselves? If you wanted me in the morning, would you keep it to yourself and wait until night?" Tyrion asked, amused by her thoughts.

Penelope never failed to amuse him.

"Well, I have assumed that it is better to do it at night when we are retiring to bed," said Penelope.

It was during the hours of night that she dressed lightly so her garment was easier to remove.

Must she be prepared during the day, too?

Tyrion chuckled. "Whoever told you that you must wait for night is clueless. Our feelings for each other doesn’t involved the time of day. Let us say you wanted me in the early hours of the day during your bath, I would join you there."

As he spoke, Tyrion loosened the ribbon that held Penelope’s hair.

He continued, "Or you went for an outing and all you could think of was me, so you seek me out and we find ourselves in any room in our home. Or if you are ever so bold, if we fall into the need to have each other down in the garden."

Penelope blushed, aroused by the circumstances he made up.

"Holding back does nothing for us, Penelope. It only prolongs the pleasure that only the two of us could give each other. So no, we mustn’t wait for night. You should always think of me at any hour of the day, just as I think of you."

Penelope wished to have a fan at hand so she could cool herself down. If he kept this up, then she just might find herself rolling around in bed with him at any hour of the day.

"I have been thinking of getting you a gift," Penelope said, in need of a distraction to cool herself down.

Penelope pushed her legs against each other, vividly remembering every detail about last night. His head nestled between her legs and his tongue.

"I don’t need any gifts when I have everything that I need here with you. Though if you wish to surprise me, returning home to you in bed with nothing would-"

"Tyrion!" Penelope covered his mouth. His tongue poked at her hand, so she pulled away from him.

"I would lie in bed with nothing on for you," said Tyrion.

"I believe you since you are not shy. After all, you undressed yourself before me yesterday," Penelope said, her ears turning red as she remembered the sight of his manhood.

"You sound so disappointed. Did you not get a good look? I am more than happy to do it for you again," Tyrion said, followed by laughter.

"You will be the death of me. I am not as confident as you are," Penelope said, resorting to using her hands to fan herself. "I am sorry to disappoint you that I am not so confident."

"I do not mind your shyness since your reactions are quite amusing. I like taking my time with you and seeing you grow more confident. We have company," Tyrion said, looking at the door where he heard someone knock.

"That must be Winston and the maids. I was meant to be stalling you so they could prepare your bath. I will leave you and oversee that they are preparing your bath well," Penelope said, standing up.

"You could do that, or you can join me this time. The sun will soon set, and you will prepare yourself for dinner. Why not stay with me and enjoy our dinner here?" Tyrion proposed.

"I, well. Won’t the servants be expecting us to go down for dinner?" Penelope asked.

"We are newlyweds, Penelope. They know not to see much of us these days. I am not forcing you, but I ask that you stay with me this time," Tyrion said, offering his hand to Penelope. "Just to aid me with my bath."
