Chapter 428: Chapter 428- Wait And See

Sol already knew Mar-Yue’s cultivation realm and the old man did as well from the Ancient Formation’s scan.

What truly shocked these two was the red aura around Mar-Yue. It was releasing a terrifying suppressive force.

But this wasn’t normal suppression, it didn’t just affect one physically, but it affected one’s bloodline as well.

It was a type of bloodline suppression, something that was hard to fight against even for someone of a higher cultivation realm.

Sol was shocked but he didn’t really feel anything, just that his two bloodlines were stimulated slightly by Mar-Yue’s strange ability.

However, the old man felt fear rise in his heart. He felt himself being suppressed to the point that he could only call forth eighty percent of his power.

A twenty percent suppression of his overall power might not sound like much, but one had to remember that this girl was only in the Earth Expanse Realm while he was a powerful cultivator in the Heaven Expanse Realm.

It wasn’t an exaggeration to say that the gap between the Earth Expanse Realm and the Heaven Expanse Realm was like the gap between heaven and earth.

In the Spiritual Realm, after one store Aether Energy in their Energy Core/Spiritual Palace up to twenty percent one could be said to be at the peak of the Earth Expanse Realm.

After passing this stage one would officially enter the Sky Expanse Realm. Entering this realm, one would be promoted to a higher level of existence and their use of Aether Energy would become incomparable to their past selves.

Not only would one be able to control Aether Energy more precisely, but the amount they could call upon was more terrifying.

If one could reach the peak of the Sky Expanse Realm, they would command almost two times the amount of Aether Energy than in the Earth Expanse Realm.

Not to mention how horrifying their Marital Arts Techniques would be when this amount of Aether Energy was used, a normal Sky Expanse Realm cultivator could easily suppress a normal Earth Expanse Realm cultivator merely by releasing their Aether Energy.

With this large distinction between the Earth Expanse Realm and the Sky Expanse Realm, one can only fall into despair if a cultivator at the peak of the Earth Expanse Realm went up against someone at the peak of the Heaven Expanse Realm.

Someone in the Heaven Expanse Realm had twice the amount of Aether Energy as someone in the Earth Expanse Realm and Sky Expanse Realm... combined.

With a gap like this, it was no wonder the old man was surprised Sol had managed to shrug off his Aether Energy suppression with his physical body.

However, Mar-Yue being able to suppress twenty percent of his power while she was only in the Earth Expanse Realm made him utterly flabbergasted.

What if she was in the Sky Expanse Realm? Would she have been able to suppress his strength by forty or even fifty percent?

If his strength was suppressed by half, then that was no different from him being suppressed down to the Sky Expanse Realm. Then with her strength to fight across realms, he would be slaughtered by this girl.

A Sky Expanse Realm cultivator slaughtering a Heaven Expanse Realm cultivator?

The old man shivered uncontrollably.

’A monster, this girl is simply a monster!’

The old man couldn’t help but let out a cry in his heart.

"Wh-Who are you?"

The old man paused going after Sol.

He had never heard of this girl before despite her talents confidently surpassing ninety percent of the known geniuses in Jianghu.

Was she possibly a genius groomed by a top power?

From her looks and how she dressed, she was undoubtedly from the Eternal Desert.

But when did the Eternal Desert gain such an outstanding female prodigy aside from the Barbarian Prince Mar-Dule?

Suddenly, the old man thought of one person, and his face changed.

"Child, who are you?!"

The old man asked again when Mar-Yue didn’t immediately answer, his voice stuttering.

With her eyes releasing a harsh blue light, Mar-Yue looked at this old man and coldly said.

"Princess Mar-Yue of the Barbarian Race."

Immediately upon hearing that name, the old man felt as if a bucket of ice had been poured over his head. His body couldn’t help but shake even harder.

’We’ve made a horrible mistake! Why didn’t the Ancient Formation detect her bloodline? Why did she not announce her identity? Damn it!’

The old began to panic.

Even though people outside of the Eternal Desert didn’t know this name, the top Sects and Clans knew.

Almost a year ago, news had swept over from the Eternal Desert that the youngest daughter of the Barbarian Emperor had awakened their race’s ancient bloodline and was about to unite the Barbarian Race to become the Barbarian Empress.

But after the news had spread, it was quickly suppressed, and another news started to spread that the only son of the Barbarian Emperor was the one who awoken that strange bloodline and would be the one to unite the Barbarians.

Despite the news being suppressed, powers like the Jeagal Clan had taken it very seriously.

Now, standing in front of them, was proof that this news was true.

The old man felt the bloodline suppression and his heart started to beat wildly in his chest. The thought that this girl was lying had not once crossed his mind.

’Danger, we have to act fast before the Barbarian Emperor is informed of this! This brat is actually in a relationship with the young princess of the Barbarian Race!!’

Before an enraged Mar-Yue could take action, the old man suddenly turned around and disappeared with a swoosh.

Seeing this, Mar-Yue snorted in displeasure, but she didn’t chase after the old man and instead retracted her aura.

Woo-seong hesitated, but eventually, he silently walked over. He would be more cautious around this girl in the future.

Meanwhile, Sol wore a thoughtful expression before he suddenly turned to Mar-Yue and asked.

"Does everyone outside of the Eternal Desert consider the Barbarian Race as an Empire?"

He had heard Mar-Yue being called the Barbarian Prince and thought it was just a moniker but hearing Mar-Yue use the title ’Princess,’ he second-guessed his initial thoughts.

Mar-Yue nodded and explained.

"We were considered an Empire in the past, while our Bloodline Tribe was the Imperial Family. However, Father said that after Ancestor Mar-Tu disappeared, the Empire collapsed and we were separated. We still use our titles when we speak with people outside the Eternal Desert, but only a few people still refer to us by title. We are called backward and strange for still sticking to those old customs."

Sol listened to Mar-Yue and nodded in understanding after she finished. Suddenly he smiled and said.

"So, my girlfriend is a Princess, how lucky am I? Haha..."

Mar-Yue glared at Sol, but a slight blush was seen on her cheeks.

After teasing Mar-Yue, Sol turned to look at the double doors and said casually.

"They actually attacked us; I’m looking forward to what happens next. Haha..."

Sol chortled before grabbing Mar-Yue and headed for another pavilion followed by Woo-seong.

Given what just happened and the old man’s reaction, they just had to wait and see how the Jeagal Clan would react.
