The Growth of a Titan-Chapter 436- Heavenly Strength Stone Stele
Chapter 436: Chapter 436- Heavenly Strength Stone Stele
The next day, Sol woke up in his room with Mar-Yue lying next to him. He slowly got up while trying not to wake Mar-Yue but ultimately failed in the end.
Mar-Yue woke up as Sol was getting ready to go out.
"Where are you going?"
"The Academy’s training grounds."
After fixing his clothes, Sol chose to tie his curly hair behind his head rather than let it fall on his shoulders. He then went over to Mar-Yue who looked extremely lethargic from having her rest disturbed. She was also still feeling tired from her bloodline exhaustion.
"Sorry for waking you, you can rest until I return."
Sol sat on the edge of the bed and gently patted Mar-Yue’s head. His hand glowed with a faint ethereal green color that caused Mar-Yue to feel a comfortable sensation that induced her drowsiness.
"Thanks..."
Mar-Yue muttered softly as she drifted back into a deep sleep.
Sol smiled warmly before leaning over to kiss Mar-Yue softly on the forehead. He then got up to leave, however, he suddenly paused and looked down at his right hand.
A small blue rune appeared on the back of his hand. It pulsated faintly along with his Heavenly Samsara Formation on his back before Little Zeel appeared in his arms.
"Do you finally want to accompany me? You missed out on our outing yesterday because you wanted to bother Little Abdu."
Little Zeel huffed and said in his somewhat childish voice.
"I failed, that old thing is always cultivating, he’s so boring to be around."
"Haha, then follow me."
"Where are we going? Are we going to visit the city?"
Little Zeel’s face lit up with excitement.
"No, we’re heading to the Academy’s training grounds."
Little Zeel’s excitement immediately deflated.
"Big Brother, you go without me, training is too boring."
Sol smiled.
Little Zeel had spent several months trying to return balance to the chaotic six elements inside his body. That could be considered several months’ worth of nonstop training, so it wasn’t a surprise he was so averse to it now that he had stabilized the six elements.
Little Zeel suddenly looked down at the bed and saw Mar-Yue.
"I’ll just stay here with Big Sister Mar-Yue and watch over her."
"Okay, protect her well."
Little Zeel nodded vigorously before he leaped out of Sol’s hands and gently landed on the bed. He then lay next to Mar-Yue, who instinctively wrapped her hand around him and pulled him closer.
Sol observed this scene with a smile on his face before he turned and left the room.
On his way to the front gate, he bumped into Woo-seong who looked like he had just finished his early morning training.
"Brother Sol, are you heading out?"
"Hm, I’m planning on visiting the Academy’s training grounds. It’s bad that I’ve been a disciple for so long but have never visited it before."
"Great, then let’s go together. Which one are you heading to?"
Sol paused at that.
"How many training grounds are there?"
Upon hearing that, Woo-seong realized that Sol truly hadn’t paid attention to the Academy’s training grounds.
As the two walked out of the manor, Woo-seong explained the situation to Sol.
Turns out each of the Pavilions had their own training grounds. But there were three big training grounds that most disciples frequented.
The first was the Six Elements Pavilion’s Five Elements Lake, where disciples with Elemental Innate Dharmas could cultivate one of the six Elements.
There was also the Illusory Forest which was jointly owned by the Runes and Formations Pavilion, the Music Pavilion, and the Beast Taming Pavilion. Here disciples could temper their Soul Core through experiencing illusory attacks and increase their Soul Energy.
The last of the three training grounds was the Divine Beast Pavilion. Well, rather than training grounds, disciples of this Pavilion would test their physical strength by using the Heavenly Strength Stone Stele.
Sol’s eyes lit up when he heard about this stone stele.
"I want to test my physical strength, so I’ll head to the Divine Beast Mountain."
Woo-seong’s eyes were suddenly filled with excitement as he laughed and said.
"Then there’s no need to delay things anymore, let’s go!"
Woo-seong then turned and headed for the Alchemy Pavilion’s Teleportation Hall with hurried steps. Sol followed behind him while thinking he was more excited than him.
One teleportation later, the two reached the Divine Beast Mountain.
This was Sol’s first time visiting this mountain, so he curiously looked around.
He wasn’t surprised that there were hardly any disciples walking about since the Academy was still desolate from people heading home to prepare for the Two Continents Tournament.
The disciples Sol did see were naturally wearing the Divine Beast Pavilion’s black robes, and despite his yellow robe and Woo-seong’s red robes, they hardly drew attention from these disciples.
They were too focused on rushing to their destinations.
’Everyone’s either doing last-minute seclusions to increase their strengths or taking up missions to hunt Spirit Beasts for practical training.’
"Everyone in our generation is likely in a cultivation frenzy, don’t you think so Brother Sol?"
Woo-seong suddenly said interrupting Sol’s thoughts.
Sol nodded and said.
"Those higher up are likely thrilled with this outcome."
Sol glanced at the black-robed disciples that he passed. Even though the Divine Beast Pavilion and the Weapons Pavilion wore the same-colored robes, anyone could distinguish them with just a glance.
The Weapons Pavilion disciples either have a sharp or heavy pressure around them, while the disciples of the Divine Beast Pavilion either have a wild and untamed aura around them.
This was naturally due to their Innate Dharmas.
Soon Woo-seong led through the Divine Beast Mountain’s’ Outer Mountain and entered the Inner Mountain. Sol could see that the layout of the mountain wasn’t much different from the Alchemy Pavilion Mountain he followed.
Sol and Woo-seong then reached a spacious clearing that could hold several thousand people. In the middle of this clearing was a thirty-meter-tall square stone stele.
Sol glanced back at the path they had taken to get here. It was a small rocky path that had forest trees on either side. It wasn’t exactly what he thought this place would look like.
Turning back to the stone stele and the large clearing, he couldn’t help but feel that this stone stele was out of place.
"Strange, isn’t it?"
Woo-seong said as the two stopped at the edge of the clearing.
"It’s only a legend, but it’s said this stone stele was left behind by the Heavenly Sect."
