Chapter 448: Chapter 448- Dae-hyun’s Identity

"Why would I lie about something like that?"

Mar-Dule said through gritted teeth as he turned to glare at Woo-seong.

"Why? Isn’t it obvious?"

Woo-seong said, still not willing to believe Mar-Dule’s shameless claim. Mar-Dule in response clenched his fists and glared even harder at him.

However, Mar-Dule was feeling indignation inwardly. Everyone he disclosed this secret to didn’t believe him and immediately said he was lying. Even his own father busted out laughing in his face when he told him.

Mar-Dule felt so wronged. He was taking this matter so seriously, but everyone was throwing shade at him, he almost felt like crying.

"But you better not say this outside, don’t you know the Dark Fairy’s identity? If word gets out surely the Emei Sect would be enraged, and who knows what method they will use to send you a warning."

Upon hearing Woo-seong’s ominous words, Mar-Dule’s tall frame visibly trembled and he remembered the connection between the Emei Sect and the mysterious Shadow Sect filled with assassins.

"Y-You bastard, you better not say anything!"

Woo-seong looked at Mar-Dule with a peculiar expression, but seeing how serious he was acting he was starting to believe Mar-Dule was telling the truth, though he still had some skepticism.

However, Woo-seong still said.

"Don’t worry, I won’t say anything. But if news does leak out, don’t you have someone who can help with that?"

Woo-seong turned to Ushi as he said that. Mar-Dule turned to look at him as well but frowned slightly.

Ushi smiled and held up his thumb as he said.

"Don’t worry, there won’t even be a situation where the news between you and Hua-yin spreads before they give you a response."

Mar-Dule’s face immediately darkened when he heard that. He then asked through gritted teeth.

"How do you know her name?"

"Huh?"

Ushi’s smile froze before cold sweat started to form on his forehead.

"I-uh, of course, I would know, our Miura Clan is connected to the Emei Sect after all, ha-ha."

Ushi nervously tried to laugh it off, but Mar-Dule was moments away from flying into a rage and attacking him.

Mar-Dule had only ever revealed Hua-yin’s name to one person and that was Yoon-jae when they were on the flying treasure boat heading for the public baths before meeting Sol who just came out of seclusion.

He had decided from then on not to reveal her name as he wanted to keep her ordinary identity a secret. He told Yoon-jae this, so he was sure Ushi didn’t find out from him. The only conclusion was that Ushi was hiding on the flying treasure boat in secret.

If Mar-Dule thought about it even deeper, that also meant Ushi was following him before he traveled to the Eternal Desert. And right before he traveled to the Eternal Desert, he and Hua-yin were... they were...

Mar-Dule’s chest heaved up and down as he confirmed for certain that Ushi was the one who was spying on him.

Meanwhile, the others were a bit confused about what was going on. Yoon-jae on the other hand couldn’t help but release a chuckle. He knew Ushi had followed Mar-Dule from Ushi himself and he put two and two together.

Mar-Dule’s slightly red eyes immediately landed on Yoon-jae. Yoon-jae’s chuckle suddenly turned into a cough. Afterward, he said to change the topic.

"Sol, why don’t you explain the situation with Wei-sun?"

Sol nodded. He didn’t know the situation between Mar-Dule and Ushi, but he patted Mar-Dule’s back to calm him down. He also took out half a Life Essence fruit and handed it to him.

Mar-Dule was still a bit angry but upon seeing the piece of life Essence fruit his anger was quickly forgotten and he hurriedly took the fruit out of Sol’s hand before scarfing it down.

After calming Mar-Dule down, Sol turned to the group and said.

"I discovered this by accident, but Wei-sun is the real Young Master of the Jeagal Clan, not Dae-hyun."

When Woo-seong’s heard that his eyes immediately constricted. Byeong-ho’s face also changed, however, Cheong-su and Cheong-san showed mild surprise. They were familiar with Dae-hyun, but they didn’t have a strong impression of Wei-sun.

However, that might be what was terrifying about this reveal.

Woo-seong was the first one to speak up in a hoarse voice.

"Two years ago, when the Blade Genius and the first Young Master of the Peng Clan, Peng Han, was third on the Heaven Arena Ranking, and Dae-hyun was one below me in fifth place, the Peng Clan and the Jeagal Clan held a small Martial Arts Conference to test their younger generation. The conference was just between their members who had just started cultivating and would join the Martial Alliance Academy that year. However, a conflict happened between Dae-hyun and Peng Han. The end result was that Peng Han was repelled by Dae-hyun’s Blade Intent."

Dae-hyun repelling Peng Han with Blade Intent? Peng Han, the Young Master of the Peng Clan, a Clan known for producing this Continent’s top Blade Genius? Peng Han was even considered the number one Blade Genius if one didn’t know about his little Brother.

This was everyone’s thoughts.

However, Cheong-san’s soul message echoed in everyone’s ears in confusion.

"Wait, wasn’t it said Dae-hyun has a 7th Tier Sword Innate Dharma?"

"Yeah, that’s right. How could he use Blade Intent of that level?"

Cheong-su added after his brother.

Ushi spoke up at this moment.

"I think I can explain this. From what our Miura Clan found out it’s highly likely that Dae-hyun has twin Innate Dharmas, a Sword Innate Dharma he openly displays and a Saber Innate Dharma he secretly hides. Due to how this news was heavily suppressed by the Jegal Clan, we figured Dae-hyun wasn’t supposed to reveal this fact, he made a mistake."

Ushi then wore a thoughtful expression then added.

"The full details of this conference remain a mystery even to us, but we managed to figure out that the conflict started because Peng Han insulted Wei-sun. To outsiders it might have looked like Dae-hyun reacted angrily because he considered Wei-sun as a close friend he grew up together with, but it’s obvious to others in the know that he was angry because Peng Han insulted his Young Master."

As everyone digested Ushi’s words, Sol was in his thoughts as well. He was thinking back to his meeting with Dae-hyun and Wei-sun, specifically Dae-hyun’s sudden eruption of anger during his questioning.

’Well, I suppose that was his second mistake since because of that I was so suspicious of that whole ordeal.’
