The Growth of a Titan-Chapter 454- Month-long Taste Test
Chapter 454: Chapter 454- Month-long Taste Test
After listening to Yoon-jae’s story, Sol and Ushi glanced at each other once again.

Pfft!
Pfft!
They almost busted out laughing but they managed to cover their mouths and stifle back their laughter. Cian was also wearing a forced smile on his face. He had never heard of something like that happening before, however, looking at Yoon-jae’s appearance he could see a situation like that unfolding.
Those disciples were at an age where they lacked self-control. Perhaps if he didn’t already have his beautiful little sister to look at every day, he might have reacted similarly to Altair and Quilt. He had heard what happened in the Martial Arts Pagoda from the gossiping disciples.
Yoon-jae glared at Sol and Ushi who were laughing and said angrily.
"Stop laughing, you don’t know how hard I had it back then. The girls were bad enough, but the boys were absolutely crazy! Half of them were convinced that I was a girl, while the other half just didn’t care either way!"
Rather than their laughter stopping, Sol and Ushi laughed even harder, drawing Mar-Dule and the others’ attentions. When they came over Sol retold the story to Yoon-jae’s annoyance.
Mar-Dule’s booming laughter drowned out Cheong-su and Cheong-san’s chuckles. However, Byeong-ho was weirdly silent. He even cast a pitting glance towards Yoon-jae.
"Is that why you started stripping without a second thought whenever someone thinks you’re a girl?"
Ushi asked with a smile tugging on his lips while he looked at Yoon-jae. freeweɓnovel.cøm
Yoon-jae in response glared at him and said through gritted teeth.
"Twenty points deducted."
Ushi’s expression stiffened and regret immediately began eating at his heart. He lifted his fingers and after rechecking how many points he had, he almost started crying right then and there.
Meanwhile, Sol held his chest and took deep breaths to calm down. Afterward, he asked.
"Brother Yoon-jae, if that’s the reason you avoid going back to the Kunlun Sect, why are you avoiding Senior Sister Yoon-ah?"
Yoon-jae down his cup of wine in one go and wiped his lips before saying.
"Didn’t I just tell you? Both my older sister and older brother are just as crazy. Don’t let my older sister’s looks fool you, she’s the real devil! Who do you think was the one who instigated the Great Disciple War between the female disciples and the male disciples so the female disciples could monopolize sneaking into my courtyard? It was her!
"My older brother wasn’t any better, he thought it was better to have the girls sneak into my courtyard than the male disciples, so he joined forces with my older sister... I’m telling you they are both crazy. I had to join the Martial Alliance Academy halfway into the year back then when I had no intentions previously."—Yoon-jae sighed then added— "But now I’m trapped on this ship, I bet they’re looking for me among the rooms on the top floor."
Upon hearing that, Sol finally realized why Yoon-jae didn’t have a room on the top floor. He was avoiding his siblings. Rooming with Ushi would probably be different since he could use him to hide.
Ushi also realized something. He recalled reading about a conflict that broke out among the male and female disciples in the Kunlun Sect a few years ago. But the document never stated it was due to them fighting over who got to stalk a twelve-year-old Yoon-jae.
As the group returned to drinking with Cian now joining them, Sol spoke up after some time.
"I have an idea and I need your guys’ help."
Upon hearing that, Yoon-jae, Mar-Dule, Byeong-ho, Cheong-su, and Cheong-san recalled their time in Pearl City where Sol conned the Sects and Clans.
"Who are you planning on scamming now?"
Yoon-jae bluntly asked, causing Sol to smile awkwardly.
"Why do you think I’m planning on scamming someone?"
"You’re not going to?"
Yoon-jae said with a raised eyebrow.
"No, I... well..."
Sol’s words trailed off and he scratched his cheek. This made Yoon-jae snicker.
However, Sol shook his head and said.
"It’s not a scam, sort of..."
After saying that, Sol started explaining his plan to the group, but the more he explained the more serious everyone’s expression became.
"Are you sure it was a good choice telling me this? I won’t hold back when we meet in this Tournament you know?"
Mar-Dule said while Cheong-su and Cheong-san nodded as well. Even though Byeong-ho said nothing he looked at Sol deeply.
Sol smiled and said.
"It’s not guaranteed to work so it might be pointless."
"It’ll work."—Yoon-jae looked at Sol with a serious expression as he continued— "Not just on those who aren’t from noteworthy backgrounds in the Academy, but even those from the smaller Sects and Clans might be pulled in."
Mar-Dule pursed his lips and said.
"I obviously won’t be helping my competition, but I won’t do anything to interfere either."
Sol smiled.
"That’s fine, and you guys don’t have to help either."
Sol turned to look at Byeong-ho, Cheong-su, and Cheong-san.
This plan of Sol’s relates to the first stage of the Tournament, and since the four of them were going to be on opposing sides, it would be disadvantageous for them to help him.
As for Woo-seong, his case was a mixed bag considering how unwelcoming his Irregular Dharma Pavilion is to him now. He might just join Sol and the others.
"The first stage of the Tournament is going to be done in factions, but that was the only thing mentioned in the announcement."
Yoon-jae said as he turned to look at Ushi.
Ushi shook his head and said with a frown.
"Even I don’t know the specific details about the first stage, Father and the Elders refused to tell me anything. However, my father did say something strange. He said that I should make sure I’m one of the leaders in the Faction I’m going to be a part of."
Sol pondered on those words for a moment before saying.
"We’ll eventually find out the specific details when we get there so there’s no need to think too hard about it."
After saying that, Sol smiled and clapped his hands and added.
"Now, let’s commence my month-long taste test!"
