Chapter 458: Chapter 458- Sudden Interruption

"This isn’t good Brother Sol; we should stop this before it escalates."

Cheong-san said via soul energy. However, Sol smiled upon seeing the familiar girl who had a sword strapped to her back. He said reassuringly.

"No, it’s fine."

Just as Sol said that En-ho suddenly appeared beside the girl who was confronting Arwin and said with slurred words.

"Sister Bai-yin, don’t be so angry, did you finally come out of seclusion? Here, come and drink wine with us. We have been in a cultivation frenzy ever since the Tournament’s announcement a month ago, are we really going to continue cultivating until we reach the Land of Shadows? We’ve already worked so hard, at the very least we can relax on the way to participating in the Tournament, right? Come, the wine is really good!"

En-ho pushed a cup into Bai-yin’s hand. A hesitant expression appeared on her once cold face. En-ho’s words seemed to have an effect as she nodded before taking the cup of wine and drinking it.

Bai-yin was called over by Arwin and En-ho and was told about this plan. She initially prepared to act like this wine was the best thing she ever tasted to convince the crowd; however, she couldn’t help but be surprised by the taste of the wine. It wasn’t just good; it might really be the best thing she ever tasted!

Bai-yin’s face lit up and she said.

"Was this wine made by an Immortal Deity?"

En-ho burst out laughing when he heard that before saying.

"With Brother Sol’s talents who knows if that statement will come true? But the wine is good right?"

Bai-yin nodded.

"To think you were keeping this to yourselves."

"Haha, then why not share it with everyone here?"

En-ho turned to the crowd of the disciples who had stopped to watch. The crowd of disciples were at first at ease being bystanders, but after suddenly being pulled into the conversation, it made them hesitate.

However, Arwin’s timing was perfect as he suddenly started handing out cups filled with wine to the disciples in the crowd.

The hesitation the disciples were feeling suddenly turned into curiosity when they thought back on Bai-yin’s reaction to drinking the wine. Soon, some people tasted the wine and immediately became enamored. These people then started encouraging the other disciples who were still hesitating to drink the wine.

Even the disciples who had heard Sol was doing a taste test were dragged into this and started drinking the wine. To their surprise the wine wasn’t bad, in fact, it was the exact opposite!

"Brother, can I get another cup of wine?"

Arwin, who was handing out cups filled with wine, smiled and nodded before handing over another cup of wine to this disciple.

"Put the empty cup over there, and you don’t have to ask just go over to Brother Sol if you want a refill."

The disciple nodded with an excited expression on his face. He was just about to head over to the table, however, Arwin suddenly thought of an idea. He stopped this disciple and asked.

"Brother, why don’t you contact your friends to come over and try Brother Sol’s wine?"

The disciple’s eyes brightened when he heard that.

"Right! Those guys will curse at me if they know I’m leaving them out of this, ha-ha."

The disciple laughed before he took out his disciple token and contacted all of his friends.

Arwin smiled before he went around suggesting the same thing to the disciples he handed out wine to. After doing this a few times to varying degrees of success, he turned to Sol, his expression all smiles.

Sol returned the smile and gave him a thumbs up.

As time passed, Sol watched as the disciples gathering here started to steadily increase, and by the looks of it, there didn’t seem to be an end to them.

Quickly, the cups Yoon-jae created were all given out. He had to go from creating one at a time to five at a time, and soon, that number reached twenty. However, even then the cups’ design wasn’t lacking, they still looked like well-crafted clear white jade cups.

As for the worry that Sol would run out of wine, that was somewhat impossible.

During his seclusion, he didn’t just brew his batch of Immortal Wine and Divine Wine. He also brewed countless batches of wine with leftover medicinal plants he didn’t need.

There were also some experimental wines left over as a result of him trying out a few radical ideas when he first decided to try and brew wine. However, even though he called them experimental wine, it was still good by normal wine standards. Only these brews held a unique taste many people might not like.

That’s why Sol initially called this event a taste test as he had several types of wine that disciples could try and see if they like or dislike.

His supply of wine also includes a few batches he brewed between spending time with Mar-Yue and heading to the Training Grounds to train.

All in all, he had so much wine that they couldn’t even fit inside his storage ring, he had to put them in his Heavenly Samsara Formation instead.

As more and more disciples came over to greet Sol and drink his wine, the area of activity for these disciples began to grow and become a bit noisy. The disciples on the edge of this area who weren’t involved soon found themselves being dragged into this alcohol-fueled party.

This was how the festive atmosphere began spreading across the ship’s large deck. What En-ho had said to Bai-yin about relaxing after being in a cultivation fever for an entire month had struck a chord with these disciples. When these disciples were asked what this party was for, they would answer that it was to relax after working so hard. As for the person who was throwing them this party, they would answer that it was Senior Brother Sol with excitement and appreciation on their faces.

At the front of the deck, Sol took out another table that could hold a larger amount of wine. Woo-seong, Cian, Arwin, and the others helped Sol manage the table.

Sol watched as the crowd continued to grow larger, and a thought suddenly appeared in his mind.

’I wonder if the Elders are going to oppose this, it’s getting bigger than I initially thought.’

Just as Sol thought this, a voice suddenly cut through the drunk and noisy disciples.

"How can you do something like this!"

The sudden interruption of the voice was like a sword, it caused silence to descend on this area of the deck.

Sol turned to look in the direction of the voice thinking an elder finally appeared. However, he paused when he instead saw a disciple leading an entourage through the parting crowd.

This disciple looked a year or two older than Sol. He held a fan in his hand while a headband was tied around his forehead.

This young man wasn’t overly handsome, but his features weren’t bad either. Adding his refined and elegant temperament to the mix, he looked extremely outstanding.

Tap

Tap

Tap

The young man hit his palm with his fan as he slowly approached Sol; his eyes held a hint of anger and displeasure as he came over.

When Sol saw this youth, he recognized the robes he and the dozen or so disciples behind him were wearing.

It was the Wine Pavilion’s robes.

A thought struck Sol and he might have figured out who this youth was and why he was here.

As if to confirm his speculation, the young man stopped in front of the table, and after scanning the wine jars on it, he looked up at Sol and introduced himself.

"Brother Sol, my name is Mu Zhang. I am the head Disciple of the Wine Pavilion."

"Senior Brother Mu Zhang, can I help you with anything?"

"Yes, I came here to request you stop this... whatever this is."

Mu Zhang glanced around the silent crowd as he said this.
