The Omega Is Pregnant-Chapter 92
“So, Kang In-hyuk and Seo Da-rae ended up like that.”
Left alone, Tae-seo placed his hand on his belly and recalled what had happened earlier. Kang In-hyuk had confessed to him, and Seo Da-rae had been giving his attention to Kang Se-heon, so he’d expected their relationship to fall apart. Still, seeing it with his own eyes today left a bad taste in his mouth.
“They used to be glued to each other.”
When he was in the mix, they acted like they couldn’t live without each other.
Now it just made everything taste bitter.
“I really prefer not to care about any of this...”
Tae-seo’s muttered words came back like a boomerang and pressed down heavily on his chest. As if to shake off the thought, he patted his belly.
Lately, every time his mood soured, his belly would start to tense up. It wasn’t anything visibly dramatic—just slightly firmer than usual—but to Tae-seo, it felt significant.
He hadn’t even known this was what people called belly tightening. Before, he’d just lie down if he was tired, and when he was in a bad mood, his stomach would ache faintly. But at some point, that shifted into a tight, clenching sensation.
He gently rubbed his belly to soothe it. It seemed to help a little, but not enough. Tae-seo closed his eyes and focused on the pheromones. He had armored himself this morning in Kang Se-heon’s clothes, but maybe the pheromones had already faded. The faint traces that had wrapped around him earlier were no longer noticeable.
“That’s disappointing.”
He should’ve asked Se-heon to release more pheromones this morning. At home, he was so used to the constant presence of Se-heon’s pheromones that the thought hadn’t even crossed his mind.
But just as he assumed they had completely disappeared, the scent returned. It wasn’t faint or something he had to focus to catch—it was thick and intense.
Then came the warmth of a large hand resting on his head, and Tae-seo smiled like he was melting.
“Thanks for coming.”
“This is nice.”
After inhaling a generous dose of pheromones, Tae-seo had no more complaints. Even that lingering discomfort from earlier had completely disappeared.
“Was it tough getting here?”
“There were eyes following me everywhere, but it wasn’t bad.”
“You’re the most famous person in our company.”
“Me, not you?”
Kang Se-heon sat across from Tae-seo and began organizing the things he’d brought. On the previously empty table, he laid out papers, a pen, a tablet, and even a box.
“I’m just a colleague, so they’re used to me. Nothing exciting.”
After lining everything up just so, Kang Se-heon met Tae-seo’s eyes.
“But you? You’re a total mystery. You’re the person I’m supposed to marry, but aside from your good looks, no one knows anything about you. And since I carried you out in my arms the other day, you’ve become kind of famous.”
“In a good way, I hope?”
“Depends how you look at it.”
“Well, I’ll choose to take it as a good thing. I’m officially stamped as the person who’s marrying you, so it’s not like I’m losing anything.”
“Then I’m glad...”
Se-heon accepted that answer as if it was exactly what he wanted to hear. He traced Tae-seo’s face with his eyes, sketching every line, then released even stronger pheromones than before.
“You’re not planning to flood this room with your pheromones, are you?”
At Tae-seo’s words, Se-heon finally pulled back his emotions and pheromones, slipping into a more businesslike expression.
“Better to get this done quickly. The reason I called you...”
He pushed over the sheet of paper that had been furthest to the left.
“Let’s sign a contract before we get married.”
Se-heon held out a single piece of paper.
“There’s usually just one contract in situations like this...”
Was this a chaebol marriage thing? As Tae-seo muttered to himself with a puzzled tilt of his head, Se-heon motioned for him to just read it.
It would’ve been easier to just explain. Grumbling internally, Tae-seo picked up the contract and started reading with a sulky expression.
“We’re not just getting married for a month and calling it off or anything...”
Once he realized it wasn’t the kind of contract he’d expected, his voice trailed off.
Seeing that, Se-heon took out a phone from the box and handed it to him. Tae-seo finished reading the contract and then picked up the phone belatedly.
“So you’re saying I should try using this phone?”
Tae-seo turned the phone over in both hands, inspecting it curiously. The contract Se-heon proposed was essentially for a trial group—to test a new product in advance.
“As the son of a hotelier, I’ve been in plenty of hotels... and now I get to test new phones too. I just need to figure out what’s good about it, right?”
“When you went to those hotels, did you think about whether the room was nice? Consider the layout? Imagine the needs of future guests?”
“Well...”
Tae-seo trailed off. Truthfully, all he did was sleep there. He hadn’t exactly put effort into using the facilities, so he couldn’t give a proper answer. Se-heon gave him a faint smile.
“Just use it the way you normally would.”
“Got it.”
As Tae-seo looked down at the phone, an idea came to him, and he aimed the camera at Se-heon.
“Look over here.”
As Se-heon lifted his eyes, a shutter sound clicked.
“The first picture on a new phone has to be your lover.”
Tae-seo tapped the screen a few times, then showed it to Se-heon.
“Handsome, right?”
“Ah, I forgot to mention—any photo or video taken with this phone might be used. That’s all written in the contract, so you should think carefully.”
“Then who else is using this phone?”
“The entire TF Team, including me. And you.”
“Now I feel excited.”
Seeing Tae-seo’s delighted reaction, Se-heon quietly pulled out his own phone and recorded a video of him.
“This time, I’m actually having fun too.”
Only Se-heon knew what exactly had changed so much that it warranted a full-blown trial group.

After soaking in Se-heon’s pheromones and easing the belly tightening, Tae-seo didn’t head home ➤ NоvеⅠight ➤ (Read more on our source) right away—he changed course.
“Are you sure I don’t need to come with you?”
“I won’t be long.”
In the underground parking lot, Tae-seo told one of the secretaries not to follow and stepped out of the car. He just wanted to casually browse some baby supplies.
“Then I’ll contact you in an hour.”
Tae-seo gave the secretary a nod of acknowledgment and exited the car. After watching the vehicle pull out of the lot, he stretched his arms overhead and turned around. In his hands were both his own phone and the one Se-heon had given him.
“I already took a picture of Se-heon hyung, so next is Blessing.”
That’s why he hadn’t gone home—he’d come to the department store. He wanted to look at things he could buy for Blessing and start organizing the list of items they’d need for childbirth.

“Not all sleep vests are made of fleece, huh. No larger sizes for newborn shirts. Teething toy?”
Tae-seo wandered leisurely through the baby products floor, looking up unfamiliar terms one by one. It was a good decision—he could learn firsthand without overexerting himself.
“What’s a teething toy?”
An employee who met his gaze lit up and eagerly answered.
“It’s short for a teething development toy. When babies start growing teeth, their gums get itchy. So they like to bite, suck, chew, and tug on things like this. We have some right here. Usually, they’re not just teething toys—they double as playthings. This one’s a rattle and teether set...”
Tae-seo listened, almost entranced by her explanation. The set of various animals in her hand tempted him like something he absolutely had to buy.
They were cute, sure—but the moment she mentioned they helped develop fine motor skills and sensory growth, he was convinced he needed them.
“Yoon Tae-seo?”
At the sound of a familiar voice, Tae-seo lifted his head and looked.
“Mirae.”
“It really is you, Tae-seo.”
Han Mirae’s expression was a mix of bitterness and reluctant acceptance. As Tae-seo tried to figure out why, he belatedly let out an “Ah.” Back when they’d met on a blind date, he’d thought she’d make a good friend, and even afterward, she’d been someone he was entirely comfortable with. So while he had accepted her as a friend, it was clear now that Mirae had felt something more.
She must’ve found out about his secondary gender expression through the articles, and seeing him now—on the baby products floor, no less—was like handing her all the information at once.
“Sorry I didn’t keep in touch.”
“You were probably busy. You think I can’t understand that one thing?”
At her blunt tone, Tae-seo let out a soft laugh.
“What’re you laughing at?”
“Oh, um... you’re cute?”
They’d always communicated well, but this particular exchange felt especially easy. The awkwardness he’d felt upon seeing her melted away, and a smile crept onto his face.

“...You’ve got a lover and you’re still stringing people along like this?”
“Me? When did I do that?”
“From now on, the word ‘cute’ is banned.”
“Oh... so that’s how it sounded to you.”
“Hot guys shouldn’t throw around words like that. It’s dangerous.”
Even the employee nearby, who had been quietly listening, nodded in agreement as Mirae scolded him with a straight face.
“Don’t just say it to me—watch your mouth with everyone else, too. Don’t call people cute, don’t cry, don’t laugh.”
“Do nothing at all?”
“Not unless you’re ready to take responsibility.”
Han Mirae recalled the moment she found out not only had Tae-seo become an Omega, but he also had a mate.
“I heard all the rumors and still decided to meet you. And then when we did meet—god, your personality was great and conversation flowed so well. I was thinking, where’s this gem been hiding all this time? But I was already too late.”
Now that Mirae admitted she’d had feelings for him, Tae-seo couldn’t just keep smiling like it was nothing.
“If you really feel bad, buy me a meal.”
“Sure. I’ll treat you.”
“Uh-uh, you shouldn’t agree that quickly.”
Mirae teased him, clearly enjoying his reaction. She’d approached him on a whim after spotting him—she hadn’t wanted to just walk past without saying anything. As expected, talking to Tae-seo was fun.
“But you came alone?”
Just as Tae-seo was about to say yes, Mirae, who had been holding his gaze, suddenly looked elsewhere. Curious, Tae-seo turned his head—at the same moment, a deep warmth climbed up his back, paired with a sharp, almost pricking burst of pheromones.
A man approached so closely he practically blocked Tae-seo’s entire field of view, his lips curling into a smile. It was definitely a smiling expression, yet it triggered a flicker of wariness. Tae-seo was sure he’d seen that exact smile somewhere before.
