Chapter 346: 346. Spatial Treasure

"I just wanted to eat some fried angel wings..." Lily Gomes muttered.

Tyler raised an eyebrow. "So, did you get him?"

The two of them sat close together inside the cave, cuddling, as if neither wanted to let go. It was clear they had missed each other deeply.

"Nah... That guy disappeared the moment he saw a Giant Abyss Beast." Lily scowled in disgust. "Well... I kicked him, and he fell through the butt hole of that Giant Abyss Beast. I don’t even want fried angel wings anymore."

Tyler blinked. "Wait... what?"

"The image will haunt me forever," Lily sighed dramatically.

Tyler shook his head and finally took a good look at her attire. His eyes narrowed.

"Why are you dressed as a man?"

"Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence in society." Lily said with a straight face.

Tyler stared at her, completely lost for words.

A moment of silence passed before he finally muttered, "Yeah... Old Defective Lily... I never expected this personality would come agai..."

Lily smirked and leaned in closer. "You can make me come (cum) anytime."

Tyler immediately pulled back. "Did you get possessed by Mathilda?!" he asked, suddenly concerned.

"Heh... don’t talk about other girls in front of a girl. Alright, so you did miss me a lot." Lily grinned mischievously. "How about this—after we escape the Abyss, we get engaged? That way, you can also hook up with all the crew girls."

Tyler’s face twitched. "Why are we talking about this?!"

Lily tilted her head. "I love being married. It’s so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life."

Tyler groaned, choosing to ignore her and instead walked deeper into the cave’s inner pathways, scanning their surroundings.

"Can we talk about something else? Like... how did you get here?"

"Hah. As expected, you’re avoiding the topic." Lily sighed dramatically, following behind him. She paused, then placed a hand on her chest, feigning deep emotion.

"I walk around like everything’s fine, but deep down, inside my shoe, my sock is sliding off."

Tyler stopped in his tracks and turned around slowly. "...What?"

Lily’s deadpan expression cracked into a grin.

Tyler massaged his temples, exhaling a long sigh. "I can’t keep up with Defective Lily..."

Defective Lily, the Queen of Cringe...

Lily twirled her hair. "Ahem... ."

"Just tell me how you ended up here."

Lily finally sobered up and leaned against the cave wall.

"After I chased off the Angel Guy, I realized I lost Astrid."

Tyler’s expression darkened. "You lost her?"

Lily nodded. "Yeah... So, I went to search for her. Somehow, I ended up running into a slave of the Abyss Hunters—one that had been left behind by the others. She was already beyond saving..."

She paused for a moment.

"But since I tried to save her anyway, she told me about a treasure hidden somewhere in the mining area."

Tyler frowned. "Treasure?"

"Yup. So, I dressed up as a man, snuck into the mines, and stole a collar from a dead body to blend in. It had already lost its function. Since there are so many slaves here, no one noticed an extra one sneaking in."

Lily smirked and gestured toward the cave around them.

"This whole cave? I dug it myself."

Tyler blinked. "You dug an entire cave just to get to a treasure?"

Lily grinned proudly. "Damn right I did. And now I’ll show you what I found."

She grabbed his wrist and dragged him deeper inside.

At the end of the tunnel, there was a massive glowing ore embedded in the cave wall.

It pulsed with a soft, radiant light, illuminating the entire chamber.

Lily placed her hand on the ore and turned to him.

"Touch this."

Tyler hesitated for a moment but then pressed his palm against the glowing surface.

The moment his skin made contact—

A powerful force pulled him in.

His vision blurred.

And in the blink of an eye—

Tyler found himself standing in the middle of an endless landscape.

Above him, white clouds drifted peacefully across a vast blue sky.

The air was fresh and crisp, filled with the scent of blooming flowers.

Lush green fields stretched as far as the eye could see, dotted with lakes and gentle hills.

It was an entire world contained within the ore.

"What is this place?" Tyler muttered in awe.

Before he could explore further—

He was ejected.

In an instant, he found himself back inside the cave, his hand still touching the ore.

Tyler staggered slightly, feeling disoriented.

Lily smirked. "Pretty cool, huh?"

Tyler took a deep breath and looked at her.

A Hidden Treasure

"Is that a spatial treasure that can store living beings?" Tyler asked, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

Lily smirked, crossing her arms. "Yeah... But the actual treasure is deeper inside. This ore is just a connector, which means we can’t access it fully from here."

Tyler frowned. "Then let’s dig it out and take it."

Lily rolled her eyes. "Yeah... Let’s not." She grabbed his arm and dragged him away from the glowing ore. "I worked years to stay hidden here without getting caught. Now is not the time to start digging."

Tyler let out a small sigh but nodded.

Lily led him to the other side of the cave, where they crouched behind a large, pulsating rock.

A few seconds later, an Abyss Hunter flew inside, standing on a hovering sword.

The guard glanced around, scanning the cave, before swiftly flying away.

Lily smirked. "See? I know their full routine."

Tyler gave her a thumbs-up. "Nice work."

Lily flicked her hair dramatically. "Obviously."

Sharing Stories

"So, what have you been up to?" Lily asked, eyes glinting with curiosity.

Tyler leaned against the rock.

He began to narrate his experience. How he entered the Abyss, how he got betrayed by my own bodyguards, and ended up stuck in the Village of Vale.

Lily whistled. "That’s rough."

Then the encounter with Raptor.

"A Raptor?"

"Yeah. A humanoid bird-man. He is probably has one of the high position in this Abyss Hunters group."

Lily tilted her head. "Huh... so when you cook it, do you eat just the bird part or the whole thing?"

Tyler blinked. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

Lily shrugged. "I’m very hungry."

Tyler sighed and reached behind his slave collar, where he had secretly hidden his storage ring. With a flick of his fingers, he retrieved some food.

Lily’s eyes lit up as she immediately started eating.

"You have no idea what I’ve been through. I had to steal scraps and eat wiggly worms for years," she muttered between bites.

Tyler paused. "Those weren’t worms..."

Lily stopped chewing. "Huh?"

"...Never mind."

She shrugged and continued eating.

"Oh yeah—by the way, I saw your bounty ..." Lily said casually.

A Dangerous Discovery

"Where...?" Tyler asked, his eyes narrowing.

"The supervisor’s room," Lily said, leaning against the cave wall. "I sneak around whenever I get the chance. A few years ago, I found your bounty document."

Tyler stiffened. "And?"

Lily smirked. "I burned it."

Tyler exhaled. "Who the hell is searching for me?" His mind immediately went to Immortal Feng.

Lily shrugged. "No clue. But don’t stress about it. Bounties in the Abyss are extremely rare. No one really cares unless there’s a ridiculous reward."

Tyler frowned. "Why?"

"Because to collect the bounty, they have to travel to the world where it was posted. And guess what? Most Abyss Hunters can make more wealth just by staying here. No one wants to waste time hunting someone just to get stranded in another realm."

Tyler exhaled, feeling a small sense of relief. "So... they won’t actively hunt me?"

"Exactly." Lily grinned. "You’re safe... for now. They won’t even remember your face since the document is burned years ago...."

Tyler didn’t like the sound of that.

After many hours of planning and talking, a loud bell rang in the distance.

"That’s my cue." Tyler stretched. "I have to leave... I’ll be back tomorrow. We’ll work together."

Lily grinned. "Alright, alright. Just don’t get caught." She tilted her head. "Unlike me, your aura is already registered by those Abyss Hunters they might check if someone is missing."

Tyler sighed. "I know."

Lily activated her Phantom Mask, and in an instant, she vanished.

Tyler took a deep breath and stepped out of the cave, carefully making his way back toward the slave encampment.

As Tyler slipped back into his cage, he heard a familiar voice.

"Huh... you’re still alive?"

Tyler turned and saw Kaiser sitting casually in the corner of the cage, arms crossed.

Tyler opened his mouth to explain, but Kaiser simply shook his head.

"Doesn’t matter where you went," Kaiser said. His tone was calm but firm. " don’t even try to drag me into your trouble. Just make sure you keep practicing Tidal Waves."

"Yeah... Don’t worry, I won’t say anything." Tyler nodded.

Kaiser smiled.

"I am just trying to escape."
