The Seven Sisters and Their Hidden King-Chapter 211: Were You Guardian Johnson?
Chapter 211 - 211: Were You Guardian Johnson?
Kelvin Family – Backyard
John had just injected Adam with medicine.
Adam's face looked slightly better, but he gave a bitter smile. "Senior... thank you for saving my life. But truly, you didn't need to go this far for me."
John remained silent.
Adam continued, "I've lived a long life... long enough, I'd say. There's no shame in dying now. But you... you're still so young. I don't want to see you—"
He was suddenly overtaken by a violent cough.
His tone made it clear—he believed that John wouldn't survive what was coming. The thought filled him with sorrow.
At last, John spoke.
"Don't worry. A Guardian of the Martial Arts League can't hurt me. Not only will I be fine, but your Kelvin family will be safe too. If anyone should be worried, it's the Guardian named Johnson."
He said it calmly—but his eyes flashed with a cold, sharp light.
Adam didn't understand. But John didn't elaborate. Instead, he gently patted Adam on the shoulder.
"You have internal injuries. The injection will help, but you still need rest to recover. When you wake up... everything will be over."
With that, John left the backyard and walked into the main hall.
He arrived just as Alfred was scolding his family.
When John stepped into the room, the younger generation of the Kelvin family all shrank back, avoiding his gaze. They knew he must have overheard their earlier cowardice.
Alfred stopped mid-lecture and quickly approached John with deep respect.
"Senior Lopez, how is my father?"
"As long as he gets proper rest, he'll be fine," John replied.
"That's a relief... Senior Lopez, please don't take the earlier talk to heart. Those young fools were just spouting nonsense. You stood up to the Martial Arts League on our behalf—no matter what happens, the Kelvin family will stand with you."
John looked at Alfred deeply, then gave a small smile. "You're an old goat and look stubborn as hell, but I'll admit—you've got some spine. I didn't help the wrong person."
"You flatter me, Senior Lopez. I still believe in standing by my principles. But... where are you going?"
Before Alfred could finish, he saw that John was already walking toward the front gate.
Worried, Alfred followed closely behind.
"I'm going to meet the Martial Arts League's guardian," John said indifferently. "Stay in the hall and don't worry. As long as I'm here, no one will dare lay a finger on your Kelvin family."
"No—I'm going with you, Senior Lopez."
"Dad, you can't—"
Slap!
Alfred struck his son Tanner across the face. "Shut up, you coward!"

Then, without another word, he followed John outside.
Outside the Kelvin Residence
A large crowd had gathered. Tension filled the air.
Karl Johnson, Guardian of the Eastern Martial Arts League, had arrived with a force of law-enforcement officers. His face was thunderous, and everyone around trembled with fear. Those from powerful families exchanged looks of excitement and malice.
The Kelvin family was finished—at least, that's what they believed.
Leon, too, was smiling smugly. He was grateful he'd distanced himself from the Kelvin family in time. The Wodehouse family wouldn't survive the League's wrath otherwise.
Andrew rushed to Karl and reported respectfully, "Guardian, the killer is still inside. We've got people watching him."
Karl's expression darkened further. He waved his hand. "Go in and arrest him. Anyone who resists—kill them!"
"Yes, sir!"
The law-enforcement officers were just about to charge in when a calm voice rang out—
"No need. I'll come out myself."
John stepped forward slowly, each stride firm and unhurried.
Everyone was shocked by his composure. He was facing not just a guardian, but the full authority of the Eastern Martial Arts League. Potentially, even the national Martial Arts League would be involved if he pushed too far.
And yet... he looked utterly unfazed.
Karl narrowed his eyes, a chill flickering in his gaze. "Arrest the murderer!" he barked.
Suddenly—
Boom!
A terrifying aura burst forth.
John's voice cracked like thunder:
"How dare you!"
The sheer force of his shout made the law-enforcement officers freeze in place, trembling.
Those watching—the wealthy families who'd come to gloat—vomited blood and stumbled backward in terror.
Even Alfred, just stepping outside the gate, was knocked off his feet and sent tumbling.
The power of that single shout was beyond comprehension.
Everyone stood there, utterly stunned.
John walked forward slowly, cutting through the frozen crowd of enforcers as though they weren't even there. Not one dared stop him—not because they didn't want to, but because they couldn't.
They were paralyzed by his presence.
In moments, John was standing face-to-face with Guardian Johnson.
He stared into the man's eyes and said in a calm voice:
"Are you Guardian Johnson?"
It was such a simple question.
But Karl's expression changed dramatically. A flicker of fear crossed his face.
"How... how can he have such terrifying aura? Could he be... the Venerable One?!"
The Venerable Realm—a realm even higher than that of Heaven Masters. A being in that realm was known as the Venerable Man. Their power was beyond mortal limits.
Just one shout from John had rendered an entire martial unit immobile. Even Karl, a seasoned Heaven Master, couldn't move.
If John wasn't in the Venerable Realm... what else could explain such overwhelming force?
He's so young. Could someone this young truly have reached the Venerable Realm?
Karl's heart nearly burst from the shock.
John spoke again, still calmly:
"I asked—are you Guardian Johnson?"
The tone didn't change.
But Karl's body trembled violently, and his breath caught in his throat.
