The Soul System in the Apocalypse-Chapter 498: Dangers and Opportunities

[The fourth and final stage of the apocalypse is about to descend. Due to several unexpected occasions, the fourth stage of the apocalypse has been changed.]

This prompt appeared in front of everybody all over the world, no matter the races that they belonged to. The prompt did not disappear at all for more than 5 minutes, making sure that everybody had actually read what was written on it.

At this moment, everybody could not help but get nervous about the changes that had happened in the apocalypse. That was especially so for the members of the other races, considering that this information caught them completely off-guard.

According to the information that they possessed about the apocalypse, the stages of the apocalypse were actually supposed to be more than five, but now, they were actually being informed that this was the last stage of the apocalypse.

It would be a lie to say that they were not kind of nervous about the changes that had happened. But at the same time, they could not help but feel a little excited and expectant, hoping that perhaps since this was the last stage of the apocalypse, the higher-ups of their own races would actually descend into this world.

If that actually happened, they would definitely be capable of resisting the humans. It did not matter if it was those mysterious groups or the entire human race, but the moment that the higher ups of their race came over into this world, they would definitely be capable of conquering the entire world.

Of course, it was impossible for them to be able to conquer the world just after defeating the humans. Instead, they would have to compete with the members of the other races, competing in order to make sure that they won the battle for domination.

Just as everybody was wondering about the changes of the apocalypse, another prompt suddenly appeared as the first prompt disappeared.

[The first change that has appeared in this apocalypse is the fact that the initial apocalypse was supposed to be having 10 stages, but for now, changes have been made, and the apocalypse is only going to have four stages.]

[According to the previous arrangement of the apocalypse, with each descent of the next stage of the apocalypse, the power of the members of the other races would be increased, and the higher level members of the race would be allowed to descend into this world.]

[But now, since this is the final stage of the apocalypse, all the members of the other races are going to be allowed to descend into this world at once.]

[Of course, it is not without restrictions that the higher-ups of the members of the other races are going to be allowed into this world. [If any member of the other race breaks this rule, then they would be punished accordingly. And the only punishment offered would be death.]

The moment that those prompts appeared, and everybody got the information, they could not help but get chills in their hearts. That was especially so for the humans.

The power of the members of the other races was something that they had already experienced. Yet, that was actually not the high level members of the race, but instead, it seemed that only low level members of the race had come over.

But now, due to the changes that had occurred, every member of the other races was actually going to be allowed into this world. Since that was the case, then the humans would definitely fall at a great disadvantage.

It might be true that there was a restriction that prevented the members of the other races from just rushing over and clearing all the humans at the same time, but there was still another problem.

The members of the other races were not allowed to attack a human that was two ranks below them. That implied that if a person was in the gold rank, a member of the other race that was already in the diamond rank was allowed to attack.

But even then, could the humans actually resist something like that? After all, that was a difference of an entire rank. And if there was just a single person within a territory that was within the diamond rank, if the members of the other races came over in large numbers, reaching the platinum rank, each of them, they would be able to destroy the territory indirectly.

At the end of the day, although they were not allowed to attack the humans at a lower level, who could say that during a fight between them and those humans that they were allowed to fight, some casualties would not occur to the side observers?

In fact, just a battle between those that had reached the platinum rank was enough to be able to destroy part of the territory if they fought in the sky above a territory.

For a moment, while the members of the other races were completely overjoyed, the humans fell into despair. After all, this was no different from a death sentence to them.

Immediately after that last good wishes prompt, the members of the other races stopped receiving any more prompts. But even then, they did not really care about the prompts considering that they had already gained what they wanted the most.

At this moment, the mindset of the members of the other races had already changed completely. Instead of simply thinking about dealing with the humans, they had actually began thinking of dealing with the members of the other races.

It might be true that all of them belong to other races and had descended into this world, and they had been previously working together in order to deal with the humans, but that was simply because they were put at the same level as the humans, and there were actually some humans that possessed power that was above them.

But now, if every member of their race would actually descend into this world, that implied that they would definitely not have much trouble dealing with the humans. Instead, it would be the time for them to start dealing with those that belong to other races than theirs.

It was the time for the battle for domination. And for that reason, it was definitely better for them to start dealing with the strongest, eliminate them before dealing with the weakest. Otherwise, if they were caught dealing with the weak ones, they would definitely be the ones that would suffer great losses.

At that moment, the collaborations that they had formed in order to deal with the humans immediately collapsed. It might be true that the higher ups of their races had not yet descended into the world, but it was better for them to start making preparations before they descended.

At that moment, even those that had already run away from the area where they had appeared before, due to the threat of the mysterious groups, they began going back.

At this moment, the sun could not do any damage to them, something that had already been tested out using some of the humans that had submitted to them.

As they began returning, some of the members of the other races began fighting with each other. Of course, they were trying to take advantage of each other, to make sure that they gained a bigger advantage in the next stage of the apocalypse the moment that it descended.

While the members of the other races were fighting against each other, the humans on the other hand continue receiving prompts.

[It is true to say that the humans would be the ones that would face the greatest disadvantage in this next stage of the apocalypse, but they would definitely be the ones that would be greatly benefited in the next stage of the apocalypse as long as they take advantage of it.]

[First of all, the speed of the improvement in the power level of the humans has been tripled. This implies that the speed at which the humans were leveling at during the third stage of the apocalypse has been tripled, increasing the speed at which you can level up to a high margin.]

[Additionally, the humans will receive high merit points as long as they kill the members of the other races. The points that they would receive is two times the ones that will be received by the members of the other races if they kill creatures of the same level.]

[The humans can also purchase a chance of leveling up from within the apocalyptic store, so that they can level up and catch up to the members of the other races.]
