As if Adam could see through what Henry was thinking about, he could not help but ask with a cunning smile on his face, "Don’t tell me that you cannot even ’do that’ for your wife?"

Henry’s expression was completely stiff the moment that he heard that. Of course, he understood what Adam was trying to imply, and that was to make him to mouth-feed Alicia the pill.

"You know that is an impossibility right? Not to mention about if she is going to agree to something like that, even I myself am not going to agree to that." Henry stated with a cold expression on his face.

"If not you, whom do you expect to help with this situation? You are the only person that can help when dealing with this matter. So, don’t expect that there’s somebody else that is going to help to give her the pill." Adam responded nonchalantly.

Of course, Adam had never been willing to be at a very low level as compared to Henry. After taking a deep breath, Henry approach Alicia. Currently, she was sleeping with her eyes tightly shut. Even until now, it was clear that she was kind of experiencing some pain but even then, she was still holding on.

Looking at the pristine appearance that she possessed, Henry hesitated only for a moment before he decided to take action. In any case, it was not as if he was taking advantage of her, right?

He utilized his left hand to grab Alicia’s chin. Then, he applied some pressure, forcing her mouth to open. Then, he placed the pill at the very tip of her tongue.

The moment that the pill came into contact with her tongue, the pill that was in form of a yellow and white capsule immediately stuck onto the tongue.

After taking a deep breath, Henry dropped down, and placed his mouth on hers. He could feel the softness the moment that their lips connected.

He utilized his own tongue to push the pill towards Alicia’s throat. The moment that the pill arrived at the very back of Alicia’s mouth, subconsciously, the muscles in that position began moving.

The pill was then swallowed by Alicia. And the moment that it got into her body, it immediately melted, and the effects of the pill began spreading all over her body.

The moment that Henry realized that the pill had already been swallowed by Alicia, although a little reluctant, he let go of Alicia.

Alicia on the other hand was experiencing something different. All this while, during the time that she was unconscious she was battling for her life. She could feel that her consciousness was about to be torn apart, but she was not willing to die just like that.

She was trying as much as possible to hold on onto the consciousness that was remaining, not allowing it to dissipate. After a while, she realized that there was something that was trying to help her in stabilizing her consciousness. But even then, she felt that although the consciousness had been stabilized, it was still being eroded slowly as time went by.

According to what she could tell, it was clear that as time continued moving on, the rate at which the consciousness that was remaining was falling apart was increasing. But even then, she felt lucky but there was somebody that had come over to help her.

She was not sure on who it was that had come over to rescue her, but even then, she hoped that they had succeeded and whoever it was that had helped her in maintaining the consciousness that was remaining was not the zombie that had caught her. Otherwise, she was definitely going to be in deep trouble.

It had been a long while, and she felt extremely tired trying to maintain the consciousness that was remaining. But suddenly, she realized that there was something that had suddenly invaded her consciousness.

Subconsciously, she wanted to fight back against whatever it was that had come into her consciousness, when she suddenly realized that whatever it was that had invaded was actually trying to repair her consciousness that was badly damaged.

The energy that had invaded her consciousness was gentle, and it was capable of repairing the consciousness that she doubted was going to be capable of being repaired.

The speed at which the consciousness was being restored was extremely high, that she could not help but doubt about how difficult it was to repair somebody’s consciousness, had it not been that she had been experiencing extreme difficulty in maintaining it.

In just a matter of a few seconds, she suddenly realized that her consciousness had actually been fully restored to its original state. But more than that, she felt that her consciousness had actually been strengthened a little as compared to before.

It was at this moment that she suddenly began being capable of detecting everything that was happening out of her body. She realized that she was currently sleeping on a soft surface, clearly a bed or something of the sort.

She could feel that the environment around her was extremely silent, but even then, she could detect that there was a sound of a person breathing. Although it was kind of faint, but even then, she could still detect it clearly.

For a moment, her muscles could not help but tense up a little. She was not sure on who it was that was currently present within this place with her, but she hoped that it was definitely not a zombie. Otherwise, she would definitely fight this zombie to the death.

She was not sure on how much time had gone by ever since she had fallen into an unconscious state, but even then, she hoped that it was not that long.

Abruptly, she opened her eyes and directly stared at the face of the figure that was looking down at her, completely catching the other party off-guard. For a moment, two eyes stared at each other with different emotions in their eyes.
