The Soul System in the Apocalypse-Chapter 508: Catching Up to Date

"Let’s go in. There is a lot that I have to inform you about the current situation of the world as a whole." Cynthia stated excitedly as she grabbed Alicia’s hands, and pulled her into the room.

Alicia did not resist, and immediately followed her mother into the room. The two of them found a place and sat down, before Cynthia began excitedly explaining to Alicia what had happened.

She told her the situation of the world, most of them which she had been informed of as well, including the time that Henry and Adam appeared with another group of people and saved the territory that had been attacked.

Cynthia was completely enthusiastic about explaining the situation to Alicia that the excitement would be seen in her eyes, even if Alicia did not pay much attention.

When she heard from Cynthia about what had happened, Alicia could not help but get dumbfounded. Of course, she was experiencing a roller coaster of emotions, at some points she was tensed, and other times, she was relieved and excited.

She was also relieved the moment that she realized that Henry and the others had gone to rescue her in the territory that belonged to the zombies. They had actually managed to get her before she died, before she was preserved here for several months continuously.

According to the information that she received from Cynthia, it was very clear that had it not been for the actions that had been taken by Henry and Adam, she would have definitely been dead by now.

While she was relieved about being alive, she could not help but get curious about how strong Henry and Adam currently were. And the moment that she was informed about the elimination of the members of the other races, all the zombies within the city and many other cities that had already been conquered, she could not help but be completely flabbergasted.

Wasn’t the group that was being led by Henry extremely overpowered? Additionally, she was also surprised by how Henry and Adam had managed to come from the area that they had been kept for more than 10 years.

For a moment, she could not help but be proud of her brother, who had managed to persevere for more than 10 years of slavery in an island that he did not know about.

As for Henry, she did not even think about him. In any case, that guy was an idiot, leaving her here the moment that she woke up, instead of informing her about what she was supposed to know.

Cynthia went ahead and explained the achievements that Henry had made, until this day. It was all from the information that she had gotten from Adam, and from the rumors that she had been hearing flying around the territory during the time that she was walking around.

Of course, other things were simply due to what she had seen by herself. But in any case, the way that she was explaining to Alicia about Henry, Alicia could not help but feel that her mother was kind of exaggerating everything.

By the time that Cynthia finished talking about Henry, more than 30 minutes had already elapsed. As for Alicia, she had already lost interest in what it was that her mother was saying, thinking that her mother was making up things.

"Okay, can we go out now? I need to try to make sure that I level up as soon as possible. I cannot continue staying like this." Alicia stated as she looked at her mother.

Cynthia remained seated on the spot for more than two seconds before she reacted. She hurriedly got up and followed Alicia. Since Alicia was currently weak, and many people within the territory could easily deal with her.

Additionally, Alicia was kind of unfamiliar with this place, and many people did not know about her considering that she had been within the room for several months.

As for those that were in the territory that she was leading before, they were just a few as compared to an entire territory that had taken in all the zombies that were alive at that time and had been converted into humans, and had not taken their own lives.

They had just gotten out when coincidentally, Wendy walked in. She had just been coming back, trying to look for Henry, considering that she had noticed that he was here. She possessed some kind of information that she wanted to give him, and no matter how she tried to contact him, she could not reach him. It was as if the communication device that he possessed was currently offline.

She could not help but halt her steps the moment that she saw the familiar but unfamiliar figure in front of her. Her body trembled out of excitement as she looked at Alicia who was looking back at her.

"Leader? Is that you?" Wendy asked in a trembling voice, as she could not believe her eyes. After all, Alicia had been unconscious for more than 4 months, and it was definitely a surprise to her to see Alicia walking around.

As for calling Alicia leader, that was something that she had already gotten accustomed to. Even though currently, the territory that they were in was led by Henry, but even then, she subconsciously called Alicia as leader.

"Well, I guess I can leave the two of you to walk around as Wendy is the best person for the introduction of the new world to you." Cynthia stated with a smile. Then, she winked at Wendy, before she turned around and left.
