The Soul System in the Apocalypse-Chapter 537: Diana’s Backstory

Amon could not help but be completely dumbfounded the moment that he realized that everybody that he met around the area close to the main territory building was extremely strong. In fact, there were many people that were at the same power level as himself, and many more that were even stronger than himself.

At this moment, he suddenly realized just how strong the humans were. It was no wonder that they were the natives of this world. If they had not been strong, then they would have already been destroyed by now. It was no wonder that they had survived until today.

At this moment, he suddenly made a note in his mind. When he went back, he would make sure that his family would never provoke the humans. Otherwise, they would definitely suffer huge losses.

But of course, he understood that it was going to be impossible for them to be able to avoid provoking the humans. At the end of the day, it was the battle for domination, and only a single race could dominate this world.

Since both races wanted to dominate the world, it was going to be impossible for them to not clash with each other. And so, at some point in time, they would definitely clash with each other to the death. But that time, they would have to make preparations while waiting for it.

Currently, the power of the elves was definitely not enough to be able to deal with the humans. After all, the number of power houses within the humans was definitely not something that they could easily deal with for a short time. And even if they could actually deal with it, the losses that would come later on would definitely not be something that they would want.

Diana did not know what her brother was thinking about that moment, and simply led the two of them into the main territory building. Since Diana was the one that was leading the way, although many people were kind of curious about the elf that was following behind her, they did not ask.

In any case, they could easily tell the power level of the elf that was following behind Diana. With that kind of power level, it was definitely impossible for that elf to be able to cause any ripples within the main territory building. At the end of the day, everybody that was within the main territory building was formidable figure, at least each and every one of them was stronger than this elf.

After the two of them got into the main territory building, Diana led the way to the room where Henry was currently located. The moment that they arrived there, see utilized the telepathic connection between the two of them and informed him of her presence.

A little while later, Diana received a response from Henry, and she pushed the door open. The moment that they entered into the room, they found that Henry was currently inside the room, and he was sweating all over.

Diana could not help but be a little surprised when she found him that way. She was not sure what it was that he was doing before, but even then, she did not ask.

Amon looked at the young man in front of him, and he could not help but frown a little. For some reason, he could not see through the power level of this young man. Additionally, Diana seemed to be extremely respectful of this young man.

Of course, another thing that made him to be kind of cautious of this young man was the fact that the room that they had gotten into was definitely the one that was located at the very top of the main territory building. That implied that this was definitely the room that belonged to the leader of the territory.

"Master, I would like to go back with my brother to where my race is currently is. I don’t really know if there is anything that they have encountered, but I would like to give them some assistance in order to get them out of trouble. At the same time, I will try to convince them to submit, and not try to fight against us." Diana stated the moment that she entered into the room, not focusing on how Henry had sweated so much.

Amon could not help but be completely dumbfounded the moment that he realized that Diana was referring to this young man as master. Could it be that this young man had actually managed to subdue Diana?

Thinking of how Diana was being abused by this human, Amon could not help but be completely enraged. It might be true that he did not like his sister that much, but even then, if she was being abused by a human, that implied that the dignity of the elf race was being undermined here.

He was about to lash out when he suddenly realized that Henry was looking at him. At this moment, the killing intent that had already begun coming out of his body was completely restricted due to the danger that he suddenly detected the moment that Henry looked at him.

Henry had already been informed about what had happened before Diana came into this world as his summoned creature. Of course, he understood that the relationship between the two of them was definitely not good. And since Diana wanted to go back, that implied that she was definitely not influenced by this brother of hers.

According to what Diana had told him before, it seemed that this guy had arranged some kind of marriage between Diana and some members of another elf clan, but that was something that Diana did not want. In the end, if she was actually married into that clan, she was definitely going to suffer a lot.

This was just a method that her brother was thinking, a method that they were going to utilize in order to make sure that a war did not break out between the two of them. But in the end, he was actually trying to sacrifice his own sister for that.

That was the reason why Henry did not really like this guy. After all, the moment that Diana refused, they had actually locked her up, intending to hand her over during the time of marriage. This was just to prevent her from killing herself or running away.

But never had they expected that Diana would actually be brought into this world, and receive a chance to get away from all the troubles relating to marriage back at home.

And now, she had become extremely strong, stronger than even her parents at the moment. According to Diana, from what she knew about her parents power levels back during the time that they were in their own world, they were at most at level 7 or 8 of the divine rank.

But now, Diana herself was already at level 9 of the divine rank. And more than that, her combat strength was definitely above any ordinary level 9 divine rank creature. The reason behind that was due to the fact that she was being boosted by Henry’s summoner profession.

Henry thought about it for a moment before he decided to allow Diana to go over. With the current power level that she possessed, it was definitely going to be impossible for her to not be able to protect herself.

Additionally, in case there was trouble, Diana would inform him about it. He could simply use the ability of his summoner profession to bring her over. Just like that, she would be able to avoid much trouble.

After receiving permission, the two of them immediately left the room, with Diana pulling Amon over. The guy was still wondering about Henry’s capabilities, and the reason why Diana was referring to him as master.

But no matter how he asked Diana about the information relating to this matter after they had left the building, Diana did not respond at all. Instead, the moment that they left the area that was surrounded by the invisible barrier, she held onto Amon, before the two of them suddenly left the place at an incredible speed.

The reason why she had held onto Amon despite not liking it was simply because she wanted to protect him. The speed at which she could move at in the divine rank was incredible, in such a way that Amon could not be able to tolerate it at all.

So, she was utilizing her own energy in order to protect Amon. But just to make sure that she did not spend that much energy in protecting him, she had to maintain contact between the two of them. And for that, she pulled Amon, and the two of them headed towards the continent that the elf race was located in.

Henry on the other hand could not help but frown at all. The sweat that was covering his entire body was not due to the fact that he had been working out, but instead, it was simply because of what he had experienced not long ago.

Previously, he was extremely curious about what rank lay beyond the divine rank. And for that reason, the moment that he entered into the system space, he would try to simulate a creature that was in that particular rank, and fight with it. But of course, each and every time he would lose without even having much of a chance of resistance.

He was not sure about what was going on, but even then, he was quite curious about the reason why despite the fact that he was already at level 9 of the divine rank, he could actually not even match up with a creature that was at level 1 of the next rank.
